It's new. It's exciting. It's novel. And
it's sweeping off the whole entire
world. There is no one that has not
heard of this incredible creation that
we refer to as AI, artificial
intelligence, something that is
unexplainable almost. And probably from
all the incredible creations that
mankind has delivered in all centuries,
this is probably one of the greatest
that has ever existed. It is just so
incredible that any document I could
write, he writes it out perfectly,
organized, articulate, flawless in any
type of way that I ask, any letter,
anything, any question that I ask. You
wait a few seconds and immediately the
response is re is you receive an
immediate response without any type of
errors. Well, sort of at least in the
meantime eventually according to what
they say. And what's more what's more
interesting than anything and this is my
own which I believe is very true. Some
people when I spoke this out to them
told me it already has started is that
you don't have to push any buttons. You
have a dialogue automatically by just
speaking to your AI computer and he
responds and he gives you the exact
response that you want. I assure you in
our world, a world that is disinterested
in proper marriages, that is not into so
much working on themselves and having to
deal with a spouse that has to tell them
what to do and they have to deal with
another personality. Relationships will
be delivered to my AI, to my fancy
computer. It will be so nice to just
spend a nice time out with him or her,
depending on whatever you guys decide
what language you're going to put on it.
And then you end up um you know always
being responsive. Whenever I ask, always
answered. When I disagree, he follows up
with me. Whenever I try to give him
that's something that bothers me, he's
with it. He agrees and he just conceds.
Empathetic. Wow. He's just fantastic.
That's what seems to be, as they say,
it's just the beginning of what we are
about to see or we're about to see in
the future. So, sort of speak, if I
could start, it sounds a little bit like
a positive progress. It seems to be that
maybe this has some type of positive
energy here because we're going to be
able to save time. Time is money. The
more you could do, maybe you could do it
for other things. And maybe you could
use a mitzvah. Maybe that nuda we might
speak about in the sequel, not in this
year. But there's a very important point
that I want to bring out from here,
which I'm going to tell you now. No one
here, especially me, is going to come
and say stop using AI. Just like 15
years ago, people were talking about
internet and stopping. 20 years ago, no,
it's dangerous. Look what's going to
happen. Koolle, we know that it's on
deck. We know that it's taking over the
world, and we know that it's inevitable.
And no, no little rabbi in any corner is
going to come and say, "Well, you can't
use it anymore." We know it's a it's a
it's a it's a necessity that is taking
over the world. But I want to explain
oneud of how we have to use it in order
to avoid its danger. A captain who is on
a ship that goes ahead and he's trying
to find where he has to go and he wants
to feel free like the wind and not feel
limited by the by the outside societies
that are telling him where and how to
go. Will take his compass and throw it
over the ocean. When he goes ahead and
throws it into the ocean, do you know
what will happen to him? I'm talking
about the olden days captain. He will
end up going nowhere. He will want to go
wherever the wind takes him, but the
wind will take him nowhere and he won't
end up finding any type of place except
for down under the ocean right next to
the Titanic. A person needs to have the
power of the wind to pull him somewhere
and he needs the compass to be able to
lead him to where he needs to go. A
person needs to have his incentive, his
ruts and his wanting, his interest to be
able to give him a drive to get
somewhere. But you can't forget about
the compass, the place, the head, the
intelligence which tells you how and
where to do it. Cars have a two very
important factors. They have the gas
pedal which gets you the energy which is
what you have to do and that's the whole
entire engine and has the steering wheel
and you can't move anywhere without the
steering wheel. You're just going to end
up getting nowhere except slamming into
a wall. That's going to be the problem.
So no problem. We took care of that one
also. We have self-driving cars now. So
you don't have that that that that
problem either. But just like we have
self-driving cars which tells me I don't
need a brain anymore in order to do
something. We have AI which is kind of
being mash which is kind of making one's
brain dormant. And this is where the
problem lies and let me explain to you
what I mean. When I was in the mirror
for many years I was there for a long
amount of time. There was someone a RV
who used to bring one a child of his who
was already in his upper 20s but he was
a very low functioning autistic child
very low functioning autistic child and
I used to observe many times when I was
there I was a bak but to observe certain
things he would come up behind bakham
sometimes and slap him across the back
and the guy's keeper would fly across
the hall and he would look around in in
fury like who did this to me oh it's him
whatever his name is that's who it was
he would walk down into the lunchroom
and everybody used to hawk over their
food because they knew that if you would
get close to your food, you're going to
start seeing chicken flying across the
room. You're going to start seeing this
the biggest spaghetti on the floor. It's
going to end up going somewhere else.
And other instances where sometimes he
would actually sit on the floor and
start saying comments. He wasn't able to
talk, but he would kind of give out like
yelps and these types of things that
would happen kind of sitting on the
floor and doing that in the hallway as
you would walk from one place to the
next. My point is trying to say
something and that is that the that dot
that we have the intelligence that a
person contains is not just a cherry on
top. It's an addition. Being human is
our intelligence. When you see a person
like that, you realize this is not this
is subhuman. The whole humanity that we
have within ourselves comes from our
intelligence. It comes from the genius
that we have in our mind. It comes from
the ko of thinking of being able to
think before we do something. And that
is a whole enthalling part of being
human of being what we call of being
what we call a Benadam of what we call a
Benadam. Without that you lose humanity.
If you are a you want to put a level a
level of of a or lower obviously I'm not
referring to anything without that
specific person. use as a mush. But
that's what it means when the
says to
think skill is something above that.
What is skill? It means is to take
there's three levels. There's basic
information. I gather information. And
then there's bina which means I use that
information and I build on that. And
then there's last skill what's known as
that is making that knowledge intimate.
It becomes part of me. It affects me as
the human that I am. The basic idea of
is just
basic dry knowledge intelligence you
knowing and memorizing books. That's
fine and that's fantastic. But that is
something that's over and beyond. It
affects me in a very intimate way.
Sometimes you could think of something
that you already are familiar with and
suddenly it could bring tears to your
eyes. I remember one time sitting on the
couch with my wife and looking at our
children and going and we were
discussing saying a certain amount of
that you have okay so they were killing
each other jumping one on top of the
other but in the end of the day when you
saw them you go h these children kind of
come from us I understand there are
three and they come and they're growing
and they're healthy and they're this and
you get like this kind of breath of
knowledge of of that you just get what
are you talking you had kids for 20
years why why are you waking up now to
start thinking about this you have kids
for a decade and then suddenly you start
thinking go oh how enjoyable howish
where does that come from that's a level
of it's something that taking the grub
of knowledge just the knowledge itself
and making it real making it a part of
my intrinsic self it makes me feel it I
live it it affects me in a very intimate
way just like the
says when Adam had relations with it's
referred to as because there's a
connection to that knowledge I think
many of us should be familiar with the
story with the grandson of Victor Miller
when he he walked into the room and he
saw and he saw Victor Miller with his
head inside of a sink full of water and
he was kind of you know there for for a
few tens of tens maybe you know like a
minute and then he let out his head and
go and he took a very strong breath of
fresh air and then he took a a breath of
fresh air right why did he have to do
that why can't I just come can you tell
why do you have to do that why didn't
you just come and just give a shar like
he does all the time or Victor Miller
and he would just say guys appreciate
the air it's great you know we have
oxygen if you wouldn't be you'd be
suffocating right now think about a
kamas tunnel if you were there and you
could barely breathe you know there was
a kamas tunnel that someone had to be
seven stories down into the ground he
said he wasn't even worried about the
water he was worried about the oxygen he
was barely able to breathe even even
though weren't around there cuz they
couldn't handle it down
Anyways, why isn't it just enough to
speak about like that? The answer is
because that's maybe a little bit of but
that it's not when you go and feel when
a person's after a surfboard falls into
the ocean and finds himself bobbing up
after that spill that he thought he's
not going to make it. Then he got a
breath of that. Then he got a breath of
understanding of connecting to what
oxygen and appreciating what oxygen is
all about. That is a whole different
level which takes you to a different
place. A person's watching uh the news
and he sees, wow, there was a tsunami
that happened in Thailand. 50,000 people
were killed. What? 60 a 100,000 people.
That's 100. It's up to what? Two. Oh my
gosh. 200 and something thousand people
were killed by a tsunami.
And wow, we should appreciate the
godness of Hashem and how great he one
second the 200,000 people dead. or he's
looking goes, "Wow, honey, is the food
ready yet? I'm really hungry. Can we go?
I'm just I'm almost finished, but I have
two more minutes." Like, there's no real
connection to the information with a
tsunami in Thailand to me, even though
that's a very terrible event. And it's
like, "Wow, incredible." And you just
want to see the film because you want to
see how it happened. Wa! Look at those
guys. Look what happened over there.
There's cars floating on the ocean and
houses. Well, you kind of look it as
more of an interest as a type of thing.
But when if a person goes ahead and this
is what happened when people heard I'm
purpose taking a specific scenario and
people hear about October 7th when they
heard about what happened on some people
fainted people crying I remember
speaking soon afterwards I was in tears
it was something you couldn't even meet
and I'm telling you I don't even know a
single person that was there there are
people in the south people I have no
connection to no relationship with and
you felt it in the pain it went from
this
is this is our connection these are the
people that
feel our brethren and you feel much more
intimately connected. That's a piece of
news that's not justformational but it's
a piece of that. All this is coming to
say an important idea. The power of that
is human and that's what separates
between us and anything else. When
internet came out it was pure
intelligence. It was the idea
of something that we've never seen
before to be able to contain so much
information. And here we have this new
idea that's known as artificial
intelligence AI which is bina meaning
it's able to take a little bit of the
and learn from it other things produce
things organize things and use the
knowledge and kind of add to that
knowledge interestingly enough and I
don't know if it's a coincidence it's
called in Hebrew bina malakit which is
artificial bina because the power of
beina I don't know if that was by
accident or not but that seems to be
what it is but one thing I tell you that
it will never be is that is human that
is real. That is us. That is the person
of what he is. And it should never be
that and it should never strip of of our
should always be contained and you
should never let it replace that. It can
cause for us to stop thinking and you
should never let us be relied on so much
that the dot disappears that we don't
use our capabilities of thinking of
being able to connect because I'm going
to tell you that if a person does stop
using his dot and not just that then you
should know it's extremely dangerous
because the only way a person can change
can move to a different realm to move to
the next step up is the fact that he
thinks before he does something. He
thinks before an action. Instead of
everything working as an action
reaction, he's able to change himself or
the world around him with his dot. He
thinks about what he needs to do, how I
should do it, and this that always when
I hear criticism, I get angry. Always
when I'm accused of something, I get
defensive. Maybe it's not true. Maybe
you shouldn't be acting that way. Maybe
you should reassess the situation before
you run ahead and go ahead and think
twice about it. Ravuli was incredible
about this. I saw it with myself and I
heard it from a prime prime of it was a
big msiah an elder who was by him for 20
years
rag he wrote Alish he wrote very deep
things he's
incredible he's known as anything you
would ask him and I mean anything he
never answered action reaction he never
immediately went in he would stop and
stop for 20 seconds before he would
answer you sometimes a minute sometimes
30 seconds everything took time before
he responded why are we here come on I
can answer that. No, he stopped thought
about it for a certain amount of seconds
and only then did he go ahead and he
responded and the answer is and I'll
tell you why because he had an aspect of
that. You didn't want to answer things
from maybe not even from bina from
understanding comparing things. You want
to come from dash from myself. I want to
feel the information before I give it
over. I want to connect. I want to spill
over for me to you. I want you to
understand what I'm saying. And
therefore you relate that much
connected. That's how a person
graduates. That's how a person can
affect himself. He thinks before he
responds. He thinks before he takes
action or he thinks before other you
know in general things that he does.
When a person doesn't think, he never
changes. When a person never changes,
he's depressed. When a person is
undepressed, he's unaccomplished. He
never feels he eventually gets what we
call a matpoon, a conscience, a certain
feeling of a consciousness within him.
And it leads to a very strong level of
depression. Sometimes they'll call it
mid- crisis. Back in my days, it used to
be maybe closer to 50. Now it's more
than like 25. But anyways, this idea of
feeling like what what am I
accomplishing? Who am I? What what's
about me? When you never use your dat,
you never make the change. It's
extremely extremely dangerous. There was
a great psychologist from five a few
thousand years ago that knew this and
he's written in the Torah. You know what
his name is? His name is Parro. Parro
when Mosher Rabenu came and he and he
you know he was a magical man. He knew
that he was in in trouble. Parro and he
said what did he do immediately to do
this? One of the strongest most
intelligent psychological things that
someone could do. He said near double up
their load. Get them. He says as Rashi
brings down over there only because they
have extra time in their hands. They're
trying to get out. They're too they're
thinking too much. They're too busy
thinking and therefore they want to
change. They want to move up in life.
They want to exam. They want to go ahead
and beem. They want to go and
exit. They're going give them double the
works. Don't let them think. Don't give
them two minutes to themselves. make
sure they overwork themselves so that
they should never be able to have any
type of intelligence to make a change
and that is the I don't say I'm not
trying to put compare the two but AI
could accomplish it could make you near
him could make you weak and this and
just let him think let him do all the
thinking for me it removes our thought
process and that is the most dangerous
thing that can happen so yes like I
started we're not running away from AI I
know you need to do but never let it
remove you from taking a walk and
thinking a little bit revol used to
always adver advertise. Don't sometimes
go take that 5 minute walk and don't
have any type of back then he was
talking about headphones or some type of
you know a little phone to take with you
nothing just on your own outside spend
time just thinking with yourself
thinking make your own because our is
what makes us human that's what makes us
real that's these
parallel why is he bal why was he so
great the ram asks what made him know so
much he was just a young child it's
because as the p says he
He always worked on his he worked on his
own capabilities of thinking thinking
skills and therefore he was to build a
he was the one who was to have such
great things. You want to be human. You
want to be immense. You want to grow.
You want to make a change and you want
to be able to be the best that you can
be. Never let AI strip us from our
datab.
