[Music] It was a first year of a school year in a particular school and in this school uh there was a preschool year meeting staff meeting all the teachers and the principles the teachers. So there was one first year teacher who was sitting there in the audience uh with the other teachers and the principles and she raised her hand and she says excuse me when will we be getting our materials to be able to teach? I don't have my materials. And a more senior elderly teacher spoke up and she started to berate her. This is the problem with you. This is the problem. Your whole generation, when are we going to get our things? You self-centered people. The girl's face turned red. She was embarrassed. She was mortified. She was almost in tears. Afterwards, the principal came up to her and said, "I'm begging you. I don't know what was going on there, but don't say anything. You keep your mouth shut. Forgive. No revenge. No lash. You're going to see it's going to bring braha to your life." She said, "Okay, fine." Anyway, a few months later, this first year teacher, she's dating. She gets engaged. The elderly teacher calls her up and says, "Hi, it's so and so. I know we haven't spoken since that outburst. First of all, I want to apologize." Um, after that happened, I went to see a therapist and I I I realized that I'm a children of survivors and anytime my parents would ever tell me anything about me deserving something or getting something, you know, I would be bered about I'm lucky to have food or I'm lucky to have anything. I'm lucky to survive. And she said, "And something just triggered. I don't know. I snapped when you said that. It really just brought up a lot of stuff for me. I have been working on it and I just I apologized said but the second thing I want to tell you is I know you got engaged. I want to wish you mazle and I want to tell you that after that happened I felt so bad and I saw how you didn't come back at me. You didn't anything and I felt to myself I have to help this girl. And so I want to let you know that I was the one who set up the sh with you and your [Music]
