and I want to tell you something very personal many of you know that when I was 21 my father passed away I'm the oldest of seven I had to leave the Yesa that's when I started supporting my mother and my younger brothers and sisters but before my father passed away a few weeks before that my brother and I were in Washington Heights by shwab a great and we were in his house and we prayed in his synagogue because the hospital where my father was was not far away now rabwah before he came to Washington I he was a teacher in the Israel in Baltimore and my father was a student of his so he knew my father so I was able to stay by rashab and after MF my brother and I went to see my father and then we came back to eat this sud by rabab and rabab says to us how's your father so I said I have I have faith that he'll be well and he got very Stern with me and he taught me a lesson for life and he said faith in hasem does not mean that everything is going to happen good or that father's going to be well means you have faith in God and even if it's a difficult situation you understand that God has a master plan maybe one day you'll understand it bad things happen it's crazy to say everything is good somebody loses a spouse somebody gets divorced somebody loses a child you're going to say that's good it's terrible but one day we'll understand it God has a Master Plan B means that we have faith in hem even though we can't find the yet even though we don't have the child yet even though we don't have the job the chv that I'm talking about tonight is to learn to accept the difficult situation that you are in right now and not to be angry at hasem to understand that we don't live long enough to understand the master plan hopefully everything will work out and that's what we pray for that things should work out L but if a person's going through a difficult time we have to know that Hashem has a master plan eventually we'll understand why it was good and why it had to happen but right now part of the chuva is to learn that we are here to give strength to each other that's why brothers and sisters get together especially in difficult times to give strength and courage and then when we go through and we overcome that difficult time then we could give to others as we spoke before so that's the chva the chva is that no matter what position we are in life we know that Hashem is testing us and that we're still going to come pray and we're still going to D and we're still going to do mitv because that's the right thing for a Jew to do and hopefully Hashem will work out everything so that it should be for our benefit
