When to make the noise?
So,
when a person goes to sleep, he
completely shuts down
because the world shuts down.
And the when the first rays of light
comes into the horizon, it becomes like
a beacon of hope. All of a sudden, you
realize that today is a new day.
And this rooster is a very optimistic
creature.
He's very optimistic in the sense that
he says, "Why do I have to rub it into
people's face that the day is over? So,
they couldn't accomplish a bunch of
things. I'm going to make noise for
that? Instead, I will wait
for the sun to rise to tell them today
is a new day.
What you haven't been able to accomplish
yesterday, you'll be able to take
advantage and accomplish today.
So, Hashem is always revising the day.
Hashem is always giving you more
chances. And the rooster reminds you of
that. Go and tackle the day. Go and
conquer the world. Today is your chance.
So, the rooster teaches us a very
important message. You know that message
is?
That Hashem always gives us more
chances.
The rooster's message is that we always
have hope for another day. It's never
over until it's over. So, the rooster
says, "Listen, I'm going to wait for
that moment to tell you I'm waiting for
that moment to tell you that the sun has
is is out so you could go and you could
tackle the day and accomplish and
achieve."
This rooster doesn't sleep like human
beings. When the rooster sleeps, he
sleeps a bit a little bit at a time, but
he always makes sure to stay up when
it's coming closer to dawn cuz he
anticipates he anticipates the boker. He
anticipates the morning. Now, according
to mysticism, whenever we refer to day,
we are referring to when life is good,
when there is redemption, when there's
freedom, when there is serenity, when
there's peace and calmness, when there
is
when people are prospering, when there's
success, that's daytime. Nighttime on
the other hand represents darkness. It
represents when there's when there's
people are despondent. It represents
when people are giving up hope. That's
what darkness represents. But, what does
he anticipate? That in the end of this
darkness, there'll always be a light.
The rooster teaches us never to give up
hope that in the end of every dark
tunnel there'll be a light that'll be
shining right through. We have to
remember that, believe in that, that no
matter what happened in my life, I start
off the day by saying that the rooster
knows the difference between Yom Ben Yom
He says that I know the difference and
then guess what? I'm waiting and I'm
anticipating for the day. I'm waiting
for that moment. And guess what? Are we
waiting for that moment? Are we waiting
for the light to come and shine? Do we
have that type of type of positivity? Do
we have that type of aspiration? Do we
have that type of, you know,
ability to be able to accept that no
matter how dark and gloomy things might
seem, in the end of the day, I'm going
to stay optimistic and believe that
there is hope, that there is going to be
another chance that in the end Hashem is
going to bring light. You look
throughout nature. Pay attention. You
put a seed into the ground, it's dead.
It dies underground. And guess guess
what? It resurrects itself and it
becomes a beautiful tree. In the end of
the of it all, when everything seemed to
be hopeless, it's really not so
hopeless. In the end, something
beautiful could come out of any outcome.
You could have a caterpillar going
inside its cocoon and all of a sudden it
comes out a beautiful butterfly after a
number of weeks surviving within that
cocoon. It was really dead. And yet,
after everything, it was able to come
out stronger than ever.
So, the rooster tells us that no matter
how gloomy things things might seem, you
have to know and believe that in the end
of it all, Hashem
could make anything happen. And Hashem
could make you all of a sudden go from
the bottom all the way to the top. So,
believe in that. And And if you really
believe in that, you'll be able to take
on any challenge Hashem sends your way.
And even when you're failing, you
realize that it's never over cuz I have
Hashem on my side. The rooster reminds
you of that every single day. And you
have to engrave that into yourself. We
are right now in Galut. We're in exile.
We're in very dark times.
But guess what? As much as we're in
exile, in the end of the day, Hashem is
going to bring Mashiach. And when
Mashiach comes, there'll be a shofar
that'll be blown. That represents the
daytime. So, what does the rooster do?
It makes the noise. This rooster is a
representation of a shofar. When
Mashiach is going to come, there'll be
that sound of shofar, that sound of hope
that will remind us that now our
redemption is finally here. And the
rooster reminds us today could be the
day, the day where the sun is going to
rise on the world. And all of a sudden
you're going to see redemption. And I'm
going to be representing the shofar. So
get ready cuz Messiah could be coming
any day. The rooster reminds us that
every single day
