Hello children.
Today we will take you on a magical
journey to the building of Beta Mikdash.
A story full of wisdom, magic, and
sparks [music] of holiness that light up
every heart.
King Schlommo was a very young boy when
he was crowned king. [music] Yet already
in his heart burned a huge dream to
build [music] Ba Mikdash, the most
sacred place in the world, filled with
light, beauty, and holiness. [music]
He imagined it in every detail. Giant
shining [music] stones as if made of
sparkling ice. Tall green cyprress trees
that the sun gently caressed. [music]
Golden vessels so bright it seemed the
sun itself had chosen to sink into them.
And magical [music] golden fruits that
seemed to grow on their own and dance in
the air.
Schlommo's wisdom was so great that his
name reached distant [music] lands and
everyone wanted to come and help him
build the magnificent [music] temple.
He sent messengers to the king of Egypt
requesting skilled craftsmen. [music]
He promised them generous payment and
safety assuring them that no harm
[music] would come to them. But the
Egyptian king, cunning and wicked,
hatched a plot. He called upon the
stargazing [music]
wise men and asked, "Which of these
people will die in the coming year?"
Then he [music and singing] sent those
very men as craftsmen, hoping to demand
a large payment from Schlommo if [music]
they died while working on Beta Mikdash.
When the Egyptian craftsmen [music]
arrived, Schlommo looked at them with
great wisdom and immediately saw that
[music] they were destined to die that
year. He smiled a small mysterious
smile, then gave them burial shrouds,
the clothes worn by the dead, and sent
them back to Egypt with a clear message
for the cunning king.
Didn't you have enough shrouds in Egypt
that you [music] sent your people here
to die?
The Egyptian king was deeply
embarrassed. [music]
His evil plan was exposed and he had no
choice but to give up his wicked scheme.
Schlommo then turned to Hyram, king of
Ty, requesting [music] wise craftsmen
who could build any structure and craft
any vessel, as well as the finest
cypress [music] trees from Sidon.
Hyram gladly agreed, and Schlommo paid
generously with olive oil, wheat,
[music]
and precious cities from the Galilee.
[music]
Thousands of skilled workers and
craftsmen from all over the land arrived
full of energy and joy, ready to begin
the work of building the magnificent
temple.
Children, do you remember that in Beta
Mikdash [music] it was forbidden to use
iron tools?
So, King Schlommo sent his servants to
search [music] for the magical Shamir
worm.
which possessed a rare and extraordinary
power. [music]
It could cut the heaviest and hardest
stones with perfect precision as if they
were made of soft [music] clay.
When the Shamir worm arrived, all the
builders paused [music] and stared in
awe. The giant stones floated in the air
[music] as if they were dancing and then
landed perfectly in place.
Each worker used their skill and wisdom,
and the [music] stones, trees, and
sacred vessels came together to create a
marvelous magic.
The air was filled with the sounds of
laughter and the song of the workers
[music]
as if Ba Mikdash itself was singing and
dancing along with everyone.
>> [music]
>> BA mikdash was built quickly and with
stunning beauty. And every wall and
vessel was covered in radiant gold as
[music] if the sun itself had chosen to
shine on its walls.
Miracles began to [music and singing]
happen one after another. No worker fell
ill or was harmed. Clothes remained
[music and singing] intact. Vessels did
not break. Heavy stones [music] felt
light in their hands and all the work
was completed in [music] perfect
harmony.
Schlommo also wanted to build golden
decorative trees. [music]
With his wisdom, he could imbue them
with spiritual power. [music] And
behold, golden fruits grew on the trees,
serving as a dazzling decoration for
Beta Mikdash.
>> [music]
>> Everything felt alive and magical and
anyone who entered [music] felt the
holiness in the air.
But when the most exciting moment
arrived, the entrance to Beta [music]
Mikdash, the great gates refused to
open.
Schlommo tried to sing in [music]
praise, reciting 24 songs of joy and
thanksgiving.
Yet the gate [music] stood firm as if
two enormous giants were hiding behind
the doors.
Schlommo did not give up. He called out
loudly and strongly, "Lift up your
heads, O gates. Be lifted, you
everlasting [music]
doors, and the King of glory shall come
in."
The gates [music] trembled, shook, and
quakd. They thought Schlommo was
speaking of himself. [snorts]
Then a deep voice was heard.
>> Who is this King of glory? [music]
>> Schlommo answered with wisdom and
confidence.
The Lord strong and mighty. The Lord
[music] mighty in battle. He is the King
of glory.
[music]
The stubborn gates still would not open.
Schlommo knelt, raised his hands,
[music] and prayed from the depths of
his heart. Remember the mercies of
David, your servant.
Suddenly, in a heavenly and wondrous
[music] sound, the gates moved and
opened with a mighty blast.
Everyone cheered [music] loudly.
Children jumped with excitement and the
adults wept with joy. [music] The entire
building shimmerred with golden light
and holiness.
This moment was very moving.
All the wicked people who had hoped to
harm the honor of King David, Schlommo's
father, were [music] deeply embarrassed.
They realized their thoughts were
foolish.
David's righteousness, Schlommo's
wisdom, [music] and the miracles in Beta
Mikdash showed that even when things
seem stuck, only truth [music] and
goodness can open the gates of the world
and illuminate every heart.
[music]
Be a kiss.
