Torah and Humility

The Rav explores how Torah study brings both sanctity (kedushah) and humility. Torah Shebichsav sanctifies physical objects through God’s written word, while Torah Shebe’al Peh sanctifies the human mind and heart. Through deep engagement with Torah—whether intellectual or emotional—a Jew draws close to God. But that closeness also awakens a sense of human limitation, leading to true humility.
