Jewish music has been getting better and
better recently and 2022 was arguably
one of the best years the industry has
seen so far. So many albums, singles,
and music videos have come out this
year, but today we're going to rank the
top 10. But, of course, we got number
11. Number 11 is Shuvi, one of the more
popular songs on Simcha Leiner's new
album. This song, among others, is a
different style than what Simcha
traditionally did and is more in line
with what Simcha has been doing
recently. Simcha's past two albums have
each been very different than the
previous ones and only time will tell if
the new strategy is working better or
not.

And now to the 10s. Number 10 is
Akedavas by Joey Newcomb from his latest
album. Your Yom HaShoah will never be
the same once you hear this song.

Number nine is Baruch Hashem Yis Shabbas
by Shwekey. Shwekey's recent song Baruch
Hashem Yis Shabbas became an instant
hit, being sung and played all over.

It's crazy to think that the entire song
was really just one big ad for Baron
Herzog, but this must have been the most
successful ad campaign ever then. Number
eight is Achas, the title track of
Mordechai Shapiro's new album. This song
is being sung everywhere. It's a kind of
different style of slow song and gets
everyone in spirit and it's a Mordechai
Shapiro song that became huge in all
types of crowds around the Jewish world.

Number seven is Joey Newcomb's Im
Eshkavecha Yish Tikva. This song, sung
together with Shmuely Ungar, was a
pretty big hit and probably the most
popular and biggest song on Joey's
latest album.

Before we get to number six, make sure
you subscribe. We have a ton of exciting
content coming up that you won't want to
miss. But now, number six.
Number six is Berry Weber's Chag Sameach
from his new album. Berry's back and
this song is just it. Is it really much
of a surprise that this song hit it off
so well? It's Berry Weber after all.

Number five is Yoni Ziegelbaum's from
his new album. This popular dance song
is the most popular of the new album and
it's a super exciting track. Yoni's
second album is truly spectacular and
this song is just pure fun.

Number four is Moshe Tischler's latest
single Mazel. You can check it out on
his new album and this song is sure to
get you on your feet. Tischler has been
going rapidly and with his new album
just released, it looks like he may just
be Jewish music's next major star.

Number three is Mordechai Shapiro's
Ashira. No matter how much you love this
song, it's guaranteed to get stuck in
your head. The catchy tune and simple
lyrics made for one of the most basic
but hit songs in history. With its
classic Mordechai Shapiro style, this
song is also famous for its fun and
happiness.

Number two is another Mordechai Shapiro
song from his latest album. Tamid Yesh
Sibah almost instantly became one of
Mordy's best songs ever after being
released.
It was originally released as a single
with his famous cute emoji video, but it
was later put on the Achas album when
that was released. No matter how big or
small of a fan you are, Tamid Yesh Sibah
will surely bring a smile to your face.

Number one is Benny Friedman's Yama.
It's been a while since Benny Friedman
released a massive hit song like this
one. Yama was released just after Lag
BaOmer when there were a ton of other
albums getting released. Yet, this song
managed to become more popular than any
song on all those albums and all the
singles released then. Yama is a classic
Benny Friedman style fast song you
surely love and it's nice to see Benny
finally back with another banger.
Not every song is going to make it onto
the top 10 and not everyone can agree on
the order. Everyone has a different
taste, especially when it comes to
music. So, make sure to comment your
favorites down below.
