everybody
love me because
hey good everybody welcome back to
beyond the seven live from Jerusalem
with a rabbi Arundel David Poston who I
appreciate so much he's been sharing
such wonderful material with us and uh
uh lately we've been doing uh uh Tomer
dvora series
um and today is our 13th and I believe
final episode in this series uh based on
the 13 attributes of hashem's mercy and
it's just such a joy to have Rabbi
Poston uh share with us uh a great uh
Torah content relevant to benay Noak
that's beyond the seven and uh I just
enjoy the time I have with him and I
think today it's an hour earlier for him
than what we usually do I didn't account
for the uh daylight savings changeover
uh and so I kind of rung him up an hour
early because yeah the time clock
changed for us but not them but uh
thankfully uh the rabbi's prepared and
so let's just tune right in shalom
shalom Rabbi Poston always a joy to be
with you and I am so grateful you've
taken the time to share this series and
we hope you'll consider doing more with
us uh but uh that's it your discretion
sir so uh yeah we're on lesson 13.
Shalom Dan and Shalom to all the
Watchers the listeners and uh people
watching later
it's a Saturday night this is early it's
10 30 instead of 11 30. it is what it is
and I'm glad to be back and I don't know
what we're going to do after the
Passover holiday but I do plan to do
something question is what
it could be maybe
um excellent as some of your subscribers
ask some of the Watchers what they're
interested in and maybe I think that
maybe we'll take that into consideration
because at this point we still don't
have uh yet
an idea I haven't thought about it I've
really been concentrating on these ideas
for my own self and I want to give
another disclaimer even though I did say
this in the very beginning in my
humility my great humility that
um this is a real privilege to actually
go through this uh in order to give it
over in other words you have to really
learn it well
I've always known about them thought
about them but to really make every
effort to implement in your lives in in
one's life it takes um
it's hard work it's not easy it's
somewhat it goes a little bit against
our nature
the idea is that God wants us he wants
us to follow in his ways he wants us to
be more Godly and to be like him and
these attributes of Mercy which were
originally described to Moshe after the
sin of the golden calf in partials keep
these up is like almost like a magical
formula that's how it's described that
whenever you find yourself either in
need of repentance de truva or need of
help Heavenly help that one should say
these attributes of Mercy that are
listed in the in Exodus however it's
obviously much deeper than that it's not
just saying it that's I'm not going to
say it's meaningless but it's kind of
that's not what God intended God wanted
us to actually incorporate and embody
these attributes of Mercy that he is
one of the 613 misses is to is to follow
God and to be like God in terms of these
character traits to be merciful the
Hindus the novel idea that the the um
that the Terminator
explains is that through
emulating God in these merciful ways
Universal attributes what you're
actually doing is you're open to the
spigot you're turning on the flow the
Heavenly flow not just for yourself
which is obviously very important and
meaningful but that you're actually
transforming the world into a more
merciful place
so we are really at the end you know
this is number 13 of 13
and it's called in Hebrew meme
which is from days past so in uh
in mija chapter 7 you have as the
prophets are only to reveal that which
we already know there's no new there's
no new novel idea at all in any of the
Nach part the Nadim the prophets in the
writings but they are to explain I mean
the role the prophet was to give rebuke
to that which we already were instructed
at Mount Sinai or for that matter for
the 40 Years of the desert
and so this is the last at the very end
I'm going to give what they call a like
a little bit of an epilogue
um so I hope that I'll re forget to do
that because I kind of have it like it
says it's almost like a separate thing
uh perhaps maybe we can just use that
also maybe as a separate video
so people can just hear that but anyway
it'll all be included in in tonight's uh
presentation
okay so let's begin we what we do is we
take the text if you over look at my uh
left shoulder over my left shoulder that
is the uh the English Hebrew uh text
that we've been using and it's a very
fine so we'll uh we'll use we'll start
with the Hebrew all right
there's a particular trait that Hashem
uses with the Jewish people when ready
for this
when there's a finishing there's in
other words it's over any Merit that we
might have had with our forefathers just
to do a little bit of review we said 10
11 and 12.
10 was amaz
that was for people who just do the
minimum they do the letter of the law
they keep the letter of the law and yet
Hashem has Mercy on them the next one
was
um uh kindness to avraham
how we obviously so natural we would
give more uh compassion and mercy on
those who are who excel at you know
being kind right we would just it would
be natural so obviously to Hashem that's
also natural we give a little bit more
Mercy towards those who uh
incorporate the attributes of Abraham in
their lives
and then the last one we did was
the Merit of our forefathers so this
last one is this one we're talking about
tonight is when that's all finished
you're looking at somebody and you
cannot believe that they're you know
from the seat of Abraham Isaac and Jacob
right it's like come on there's nothing
left there's like you know I don't want
to say how evil they seem to be but
they're not
um they're not exhibiting any kindness
and how how are we supposed to view them
I just want to make another a little bit
of the caveat and a disclaimer obviously
if someone is so rotten to the core it's
going to be almost you know let's say an
exemption there's very few people like
this where you wouldn't show Mercy
you wouldn't show Mercy but for most
people that we think of as evil to Decor
they're probably not and that's what
we're going to discuss when there's no
more Merit left you can't think of the
single thing to we'll call in Hebrews to
judge them favorably because if you
judge someone favorably
normally if they're righteous it's quite
easy or that's the the actually the law
if someone's like a Bano knees you don't
really know them they're most probably
you know decent people but you're not
like seeing it so you have to kind of
make up make up a real story in your
head how this person is probably doing
it for a good reason but it came out the
wrong way here we're talking about where
there's nothing left that you cannot
find a single point to judge them
favorably
which again would turn and open the flow
of heavenly kindness from from Hashem
himself
so this attribute Hashem actually has
with the Jewish people when the Merit of
their forefathers had been spent
and so too any other Merit there's just
nothing you can find
so what happens Maya said what should
you do
need from their aspect from who these
people are that you're in the process of
judging but we all judge
you can't find anything proper there's
nothing Worthy on their own that you
could
um judge them properly you know judge
them in the favor
well guess what
how did Hashem judge us when we left
Egypt remember we were Idol worshipers I
mean we did a few things that were you
know
um on the ball let's say we kept our
Jewish names we um we didn't speak
Russian Hara it's very nice right we we
did an intermarry we kept our clothes we
said we kept certain things of the
culture but basically we ourselves were
not that righteous
and yet to go to Jeremiah chapter 2
verse 2.
that's correct
all right
uh Jeremiah 2 verse 2 says go and call
out in the ears of Jerusalem saying so
said the Lord I remember to you the
loving kindness of your youth the love
of your nuptials you're following me in
the desert and in a Land of a land not
sown
so we had been like I mentioned in Egypt
we were not the most righteous people
and yet we were redeemed there is a
certain aspect yes Hashem had already
promised Abraham and Isaac and Jacob
that their children would be redeemed
um but what God is saying here through
Jeremiah in the Hebrew
like when you were young you know before
you sinned before you became uh dirty
and full of sin the love of your
nuptials
this is a hard word to say
which it's like in other words the the
marriage canopy the love that took place
when we first
met when we first um became intimate
so here in this case we're talking about
before you were even before you sinned
so we followed God into the desert we
had a certain amount of amuna a certain
amount of faith
um called a leap of faith whatever it
was I mean you're leaving the uh The
Cauldron of fire you know the the pit of
the shrine okay but we went into a place
where there was nothing growing and we
had a lot of trust and Hashem really did
take care of us through the through the
Iman that came from Heaven through the
water that came out of the Rock right
through his
um unbelievable amount of love that came
from protection from the clouds of Glory
so just to look at Rashi on that verse
so Rashi says were you to return to me
I would desire to have mercy on you
for I remember the loving kindness of
your Youth and the love of the nuptials
of your wedding canopy
when I brought you into the wedding
canopy
so
when you're going to judge somebody
there's going to be a point before they
became evil
I mean it was part of their life
experience whether it was the first
three months three years 30 years I
don't know but there's a certain point
in time where you could pretty much make
a judgment that at one point he was not
a sinner he was not evil
so that's the idea here now the qurashi
continues now what was the love love and
kindness of your youth you're following
my messengers Moses and Aaron from an
inhabited land to the desert without
Provisions for the way since you
believed in me just that little belief
that little whatever it is that every
human being has I'm sure that every
human being basically has this idea that
there must be a creator that is taking
care of me and loving me just like King
David speaks about the Psalms but
unfortunately we go through a nurturing
period of you know a lot of Heretics and
a lot of heresy and a lot of fake news a
lot of fake news about what the world
really is and then we believe it and we
think that we're just Advanced
um
we're the most Progressive you know
cockroaches that ever lived right like
we come from an amoeba and that there is
no Creator right the the whole world is
what might makes right
so we get conditioned
but what happened before that right
every child is probably born with some
like looking at the nature
everything is new everything is
marvelous and wonderful
and unfortunately whether it's through
abuse and Trauma that we end up treating
other people and like we were treated
like we think that's normal
unfortunately right and it's not so
anyway we get condition that's the point
so what happened before that
conditioning is probably a very pure
Soul right that's the idea in Judaism as
opposed to other religions we believe
that we are created all of us with a
pure soul
okay so that's how we're beginning this
idea
and the the remark continues
that um
that God actually remembers those early
days just like it says in Jeremiah
that real love that existed before
and he has this Mercy on the Jewish
people so I just want to go back into
one idea why are we doing these series
it seems like it's applicable or talking
just to the Jews well as hopefully
everyone who's watching this knows that
yes could be the Jews of the canary in
the in the uh in the mind whatever I
don't know if that's the expression but
basically we are the light to the
Nations we receive this Divine uh
instruction manual for life and we are
obligated to live it in a very let's say
Stern and harsh way and there are major
ramifications for us if we don't
nevertheless the whole world has access
to this information through us
like I said like the canary and the mine
right well
God forbid the canary gets sick start
sneezing you know that uh whatever you
know you know
okay I didn't want to say that Canary
died
but we will discuss these ideas tonight
so Hashem has this uh rahamim he's uh
this Mercy on the Jewish people
that God actually remembers all the
misses that they did prior to them
becoming evil
right and all the good attributes were
Hashem directs towards his world
so then it says
right he makes from all of them
is like a treasury from which to have
mercy on them Hashem that's what he
really wants I I want to stop here just
to mention the rabbi singer spoke about
this so beautifully and I'm going to try
to remember I haven't heard of this
particular taken a long time but when
you compare the god of Israel to let's
say Christianity I don't know exactly
who they even call God anymore but
whatever their concept of God is
that their God is actually the opposite
of merciful I mean I I wish I could put
the link down below if I'll look for him
try to find it but basically the god of
Israel has unbelievable Mercy even for
the sinner especially for the sinner
whereas
um you know if you don't believe or is
the whole idea that you're like destined
to Eternal Hellfire is just it's kind of
scary yeah without the payment of the
penalty yeah yeah obviously
there are things that we need fixing but
Hashem is giving us the all the
opportunities to do so and it's about
improving yourself
and improving your relations not just
with other human beings so there's just
like three relationships when you have
you with yourself one you have with
others and one you have with God this is
what life is about a constant
Improvement which goes back to God's
conversation with Cain in I think
chapter four and Genesis you can go back
and read it yourself and read it with
new eyes that Hashem is telling Cain
kind
that uh don't be so despondent this is
before he actually killed Abel after his
offering was not accepted but if you
improve yourself you'll be forgiven Okay
so
it continues this last point of this
paragraph is that this particular media
number 13 is actually includes all the
previous 12. raise amid the colellis
coulomb okay and that's brought down
from the Zohar
so as the remark always does even though
he describes the meat of God
what benefit and how did what does it do
what's the toe Ellis what's the benefit
for man
so too when it comes to men
right this is how we should behave with
other people
even if you can't find any of the above
points
um in which to you know look for their
favor what should one say this is what
one should say when they encounter a
person that they just you know they just
can't find any good points in that guy
you know there was a time before they
sinned before they became evil
and at that moment
or those previous times
obviously they were kosher obviously
they were pure they were born pure
that's another uh misconception well I
don't know if it's a misconception
amongst the Christians but it's
certainly a misunderstanding
right where they believe right I
shouldn't say what they do because I
don't know what they believe but I've
heard that they believe that you're not
born pure
anyway yes
you should try to remember try to become
cognizant of the fact of the perhaps all
their Good Deeds they did while they
were young
the years
so this is based on a verse in Isaiah
chapter 28 verse 9. right we should have
this like there's a natural love that
people have for babies right you ever
look at a baby I mean
there are probably some ugly kids and
don't get me wrong but in the eyes of
the mother and the father and the answer
the uncles the grandparents hopefully so
the kids I think God made them like I
think cartoons base these ideas with a
big forehead and the big eye it's just
like so cute right
so this verse in German I'm sorry in um
did I say Isaiah chapter 28 verse 9. it
says uh uh Whom Shall he teach knowledge
and to whom shall he explain the message
to those weaned from milk removed from
the breast
okay so this idea
before we sinned we were you know
sucking and drinking and people had to
uh take care of our diaper needs and all
that stuff
um Rashi explains over there to whom
shall he teach knowledge
to babes who do not even have any
concept of understanding
when it says separated from milk they
were weaned from milk the Torah is is
compared to milk
so you're separated from the Torah
um well actually that's what the rash
says here alternatively separated from
the Torah which is called milk and
removed from the breasts that means
removed from before the Taurus Scholars
so I hope that those watching they
understand I think everyone watching
understands well that
um you know that Yehuda is the makro
cake is the law Giver right obviously
hashem's law giver but the the tribe of
Yehuda the Sages
um are the ones who guard this special
tradition that we received the Sinai and
that if you want any insight right don't
be a thief and call yours right very
important we discuss this idea in the
Seminole height laws that uh one who's
ice one who makes Torah their own living
like as if it's theirs
it for a non-jew is is very problematic
however as I've said if you recognize
where it comes from and you go and you
learn from those Witnesses right God's
witnesses as they say has said it so
then you're not a thief because you're
attributing saying it's all yours
meaning it was given to you it belongs
to you and I want a part of it I wanna I
want that wisdom I want that Heavenly
wisdom that was that was revealed to
amishrao 3 300 years ago
okay so the remark continues
didn't try where we left off okay
so basically from this point of view
there really is no one who's unfit to
receive our favor prayers and mercy I
mean that's that's the summary however
we're going to go into some details now
that's the summary of page one I told
you there's going to be another page
we'll talk about the end
um this is based on the book over my
left shoulder as I mentioned he goes
through different things such as the
definition of the attribute so here's
his summary
so when someone is actually harmed by a
completely Wicked person and it's clear
that the harm was done deliberately
there's no way to judge the person
favorably with any of the 12 attributes
which we had already talked about
but what should you say to yourself
there was once a time before the harm
was done when that person was still good
he should remember the good deeds the
offender did when he was a child or at
least when he was an innocent baby now
from that perspective there's no Jew
that's unfit to receive our Fair our
favors prayers and mercy as we just said
so if a person takes this perspective
what he's doing he's going to wake in
within the heavens this merciful
attribute of me make Adam of from days
past and what you're doing is you're
bringing that element of Mercy into the
world
there is a statement I just want to
mention the Zohar
that says it says the rafuna said
there's no juice so wicked that he has
no good deeds through which he will
Ascend to the world to come now this
could be very difficult for you know a
regular human being to just understand
but in perkyo vote ethics of our fathers
Begins by telling us actually each
chapter begins with the same statement
that every Jew is a place in the world
to come now that doesn't mean there's a
easy entrance ticket right
it just means that
I mean you have to really work hard to
get out of it
and in order to enter there will be
a ticket I mean there will be a price to
be paid but you get in
so what does that mean for a non-jew
it's basically probably the same concept
I'll just take it and twist a little bit
differently
that every Jew has a ticket that has to
be paid for so he's got an easier
entrance but there's tikonim there's
going to be pain there's going to be
suffering there's going to be work in a
spiritual way
and it could be physical of course but
that's how to get in but you're already
invited so to speak whereas the non-jew
I think has to fight a little bit harder
to get in it's not a carte blanche
Okay so
you have the difference let's say you
have the Jewel on one side which I
described as almost like almost like
Clark Blanche but there's a ticket
there's a price to pay the non-jews to
work much harder
and I think that there's quite a lot of
in between space meaning
from a righteous now kind which most of
these people I believe were watching are
going to be fitting into that category
um there's a um like a transformation
when you have accepted and you're
learning the Torah in order to become a
Believer doesn't mean you have to become
Jewish but that that is probably the
major trends uh I'm using the word
transformational process
coming to believe that point of
Effectiveness yeah the joy that we have
that the Jews have is the Torah that was
given in Mount Sinai and it hasn't
changed and there's no New Testament
there's no New Covenant that this
applies specifically to the Jewish
people and that I want to touch myself
to them through their wisdom that's
probably the hardest
um as an as a Jew I'm only using my
imagination that that's probably the
hardest part of the transmit
transformation because once you're there
once you're transformed I think it's
much easier because then you're you can
suck up all the moves or Safari all
these books
all these books to talk about how to
work on your character
that's then then you're already in you
you you're paying the ticket for saying
I was wrong I inherited lies from my
ancestors right that is so hard I can
only imagine oh the initial
transformation is is like you know
accepting death uh in the sense that you
know the way especially coming out of
Christianity I mean to them it's like
it's like you've got to accept death in
your mind uh
Eternal damnation to get out you know
that's you've got to get over that hump
right and uh so many uh have trouble
leaving because
they want some golden ticket that that
is guaranteed you know it's like uh you
if you bought a new car you want a
warranty with that car uh why else would
they get rid of their old one
um but when you're dealing with a
person's life yeah they've got to get
over the notion that uh according to
Christian theology for me to step away
from it is eternal damnation but in
reality you're you're fed a lie from
from birth and you need to see it for
what it is to cut the string so that
point of transformation is probably the
hardest hump to get over now in the same
mishnah that says that every Jew is a
place in the world to come in the
Gomorrah that described it basically
discusses that mishna mentions certain
categories of certain principles that if
a Jew doesn't believe
or acts a certain way he's out there in
other words it's pretty descriptive of
what a Jew has to do to basically be on
the outside and then it lists different
Kings and different
um
people who I guess we're talking about
as principles not that it's only these
uh seven people uh but it mentions
billum billum is a non-jew
he's mentioned there and that is the
proof I believe that shows you that
actually according to Judaism that
non-jews go to heaven it's in other
words but take take this the description
one of the things that a Jew in order to
not go to heaven or let's say not be
resurrected in the dead or have a share
in the world to come is not believing
that the Torah is from Hashem so if you
don't believe the Taurus Rochelle is a
Jew
you don't go to heaven you don't have a
real share in the world to come
and you won't be resurrected now
the fact that billum is listed in that
and that means a non-jew too so that's
where I understand that the Ramba makes
the difference between a a a
Pious
and a wise nanju
and he says that the wise non-jew will
be blessed in this world for keeping the
seven Noah High laws but he won't see
the world to come
whereas the pious one who believes in
the red he believes in the Torah from
Sinai that it was given to the Jewish
people that's the person that we'll see
a resurrection of the dead and wield the
world to come so I think that as just an
emphasis on the transformation
the rest is what's as as Hillel said to
the potential convert right love your
neighbor as yourself
the rest is commentary right you want to
learn the whole story standing on one
foot
right love your neighbors yourself and
the rest is commentary
so I think that's the transformational
part that I just wanted to mention okay
so here we go let's go on now
there is
um another idea I mentioned in the
beginning of this series about a
philosophy called azamra
it's
love and he mentions this and teaches
this
that we have to judge even the worst
sinner favorably
we have to find his inner point of
goodness however small and focus on it
first of all just the concept of Love
Alone with no Weinberg told us
how can anybody be commanded to love
isn't love and emotion how do you
command an emotion so all of them before
shame all the commentators explain
[Music]
it's the it's the Preparatory part
you learn about God and how much
goodness he's given to you
so then you'll love him so in other
words you the command to love God is
more like in to investigate the kindness
that he gave to you and once you realize
the kindness he gave to you you will
love him
so in other words you're not commanded
to love him you're commanded to
investigate how kind he is and then you
will love him
so to in any relationship you have a
relationship whether you're stuck in it
or you chose it right but you want to
continue then the best thing is to focus
on the good aspect the virtues as ravino
Weinberg says what is love it's the
focus on the virtues so you do have a
choice the choice is to focus on the
virtues or the opposite I don't love
this person I don't want to love this
person I want to hate them and therefore
I'm going to focus on every bad thing is
that they've ever done to me or to
someone else and I will I will hate them
but you have a choice you don't have to
hate them you could love them by
focusing on the virtues
so at this point the point of goodness
can tilt to the scales in his favor and
drawing back to juva you can actually
like we discussed this idea on this
Brightwood stem how can you pray for
someone who's sick didn't isn't that a
decree from Hashem
so God really wants the person to be
well and your prayers will help
change his mind whatever uh
adopt a more merciful attitude towards
this person because people love him and
need him and miss him when I say him and
talk about her too he said forgive me if
I sound like I'm just using certain
pronouns but um the idea is that
you can tilt this tilt the scales and
that's the whole idea behind the showing
favor or thinking about a good thing the
person did
I'll stop there just to explain so in
heaven the person is being judged
negatively and when he or she is being
judged negatively actually it's going to
affect the whole world as we say one
should look at the whole world as if
it's scales that are even okay and if
one does just one negative thing it can
judge the whole world negatively and
it's you know hopefully uh right if the
person just does one more midst of one
more right act that God will judge the
whole world favorably so now think about
it you're you're thinking about this
person or many people are thinking about
this person how evil he is and that will
give God nobody's coming into his
defense or hurt the fence and therefore
God's going to judge him negatively but
if enough people let's say you with
enough cavana enough intent can judge
the person favorably
so then God will rethink consider your
thoughts wow he was a cute baby right
before he said he used to help the
neighbor then then when he got older and
he robbed the neighbor but before he
robbed the neighbor he was always there
whatever so you're bringing this um
Mercy into this higher realm and Hashem
is then going to judge the whole world
because remember
he'll judge the person favorably which
can tilt the whole scales which will not
only affect you but affects the whole
world which will affect you
it's an amazing idea and you're bringing
more Mercy into the world
so what about Chula isn't true of the
concept of repentance totally up to Free
Will how can you pray for somebody to do
Jeweler well are you praying that they
do the chuva or are you praying that
Hashem we'd love this person we want him
to come back to the fold and not be a
sinner so please afford him
opportunities to do Mitzvahs wake him
you know let you know how Shem will you
know shake you a little bit to wake you
up
lovingly wake this person up
how you know that's up to Hashem okay
but you're praying for that to happen so
they will that will have an effect
so basically a little bit more and the
wicked person is no more there's a verse
here
Psalms 37 10.
you want to read it
all right Psalms 37 uh verse 10 a short
while longer and the wicked man is not
here and you shall look at his place and
he is not there
it's it's mind-boggling but this is what
King David is saying
the in Russia just a little bit of time
the the Evil's gone
the hits
and then you like
um you concentrate contemplate his place
and he's no longer there meaning this is
an old discussion Ruby mayor had him
with his wife he was being bullied and
he came home he almost like cursed these
people that they should die I mean like
get rid of these people and his wife
ruria was quite a phenomenon and she
knew the Torah very well and she
basically said that's not what the verse
says the verse is not that evil shall be
cut off but the evil ones right in other
words sorry the other way around
it's not that the evil ones will be cut
off but the evil will be cut off because
the duchova pray for them to do chuva
the bottom line is you pray for them to
do true but they won't bother you
anymore and that's what he did and he
listened to his wife and that cell the
Gamora actually poskins like Brewery is
his wife and not rubby mayor himself in
that case
okay so this is a very interesting idea
contemplate the little bit of goodness
inside of the other person and suddenly
you'll see that the wicked person is no
more since he has turned him into exotic
meaning you turned him into exotic
it's a very strange idea how can your
words how can your thoughts change a
person
uh I think we have like examples when
you let's say you're in an argument or
you're in a heated either debate or it's
just certain friction in a relationship
when you lower the temperature when you
use I'm not going to say call reverse
psychology but when you can use that
um you lighten the mood a little bit you
you're more friendly with him or her uh
you somehow downplaying the argument and
you change either change the subject or
whatever making a little bit light of it
and you'll see that the person's
demeanor itself will change
right
there is another verse in Milwaukee
chapter 3 verse 24
that I want to speak about because many
of us are parents
and the kids that are listening they
should know this
you have Malachi Malachi
verse 24.
you'll get it
verse 24 correct
a chapter or three to verse 24 says that
he may turn the heart of the fathers
back to the children and the Heart of
the children back through their fathers
lest I come and smite the Earth with
utter destruction
so this is an idea that actually the
fathers the parents we have a big
responsibility for our children and we
should we should really pray to Hashem
that he is taking care of them I mean
they're in our care up to a certain
point I mean even when they're in our
care believe me we need hashem's help
but once they're you know going already
to school going out of the house old
enough to either live on their own I
mean they need our prayers they need our
prayers and
um God will return the hearts of the
fathers through the sons and the hearts
of the sons through the fathers this is
an ongoing thing so we should pray we
should ask Hashem for Mercy I'll just
tell you about my own children
and I went through a period of time
where I had a difficult time and I went
to a big big Rabbi and he told me listen
with it was Financial issues whether it
was emotional whether without other
issues he said you got to pray you got
to pray listen these children are not
just your responsibility
it's true you're doing a great job but
you need help and you should pray to
Hashem these are his children
cry to God these are your children
you're going to take care of your
children you're going to let them you
know uh
feel that there's nobody to rely on
so uh no so you can you can have an
effect obviously on other people as
we're talking about and even more so on
the people you really care about so keep
that in mind
okay
[Applause]
um
the next idea when someone has been
harmed by a person who is truly bad and
you can't find any Merit to which the
judge to judge the first person
favorably
what can you do you can still find some
kind of compassion for that person by
remembering how he was before he sinned
this is just to go over the same idea
so what when he does this Hashem views
the Jewish people in the same way
um even if he finds Among Us Wicked
people with no merit of their own who
have exhausted the murder of the
forefathers as we spoke in last week's
the last session
Hashem still remembers the goodness we
had from days past
he remembers his love for us from before
we sinned
okay so now we're going to get into some
nitty-gritty stuff
okay so this idea of we make Adam from
days past is actually the highest of all
these attributes right all of the it
includes the other 12. so through it
Merit can be found for those who
abstensibly
have no merit it reconnects those who
become completely disconnected recalling
the love for those who thought they were
hated
um maybe subconsciously the per even
consciously or subconscious person will
have no idea that you're praying for
them but that's I mean maybe it is true
in these other religions they pray they
pray but I've heard so many where
they're praying for you know you you do
go to hell
but anyway one should pray for the other
person to do truva and to come back
so a Jew might have fallen into the
darkest steps of sin but there's always
a threat of Hope attached to him by
which he can be lifted back at any time
this threat is the love of God that
Hashem had for him before he sinned when
his soul was still pure and innocent
who loves the most wicked Jew in the
world more than we're capable of loving
even the most righteous I mean get your
head around that
we know so many righteous people or we
heard of stories with Abraham whoever is
how we can love the most righteous
people
it doesn't even it writes pales in
comparison that God actually has for
even the most wicked
can you I mean I would ask for a drum
roll for that one that's like heavy duty
what a thought I'm going to give you
just an example from last week's parship
well we had a double portion that could
a
um biaka pakuday
so at the very and you said you heard
the class at the very um end of chapter
29 it says the god that Moses blessed
the Jewish people
and what does that mean this is after
the sin of the golden calf and God says
I want you to build a mishkan now the
mishkan acts as an atonement that's what
the temple does it acts in atonement for
our sins
and and Moses blesses them the
obarichosa motion and the Kumar asked
the more itself is actually the major
salsa what blessing did Moses bless them
with
I mean wouldn't even bless people to
just sinned and then they have to make
this Chica and this fixing
so believe it or not it's an amazing uh
amazing verse
the verse is based on
as chapter 90 of Psalms verse 17. and
maybe and I'll just encourage people to
go watch that video maybe we'll put a
link down below May the pleasantness of
the Lord Our God be upon us what does
that mean
um it's chapter of Psalms chapter 90
verse 17.
that what's the pleasantness of God
that's the Sheena that's the compassion
part of God 90 17 reads and may the
pleasantness of the Lord Our God be upon
us and the work of our hands established
for us and the work of our hands
establish it
this is talking about God that Moses
blessed them remember this King David
but he's writing about Moses actually
we're going to say it wasn't even King
David it was Moses himself but one
second I don't get it too ahead of
myself
Psalms is basically attributing King
David because he compiled it but he
didn't actually author all of the uh uh
Psalms
in fact the tradition we have is chapter
90 through 100 those 11 Psalms were
actually altered by motion and if you
look at verse 1 of chapter 90 it says a
prayer of Moses
okay so this idea that this was the
blessing that he gave that the
pleasantness of the Lord this compassion
of God should rest on us after we sin
with the golden calf
after we made this the structure wasn't
actually built but all the vessels and
all the pieces were ready to be put into
place that God that Moses wants that the
screener should rest with us so that
what that we should know that we've
forgiven and the rest of the world
should know that we were forgiven I mean
this is actually mind-boggling because
for those who say you can only
only find uh what's the word atonement
Through Blood it's totally fabricated
it's not even true but right here we
find the atonement was just the actual
making of the the structure itself which
is going to provide our atonement
um there is a let me just read that
Rashi over there
um well it actually says there that this
is what Moses had prayed that the shrina
should rest on the work of their hands
in the temple but I want to read you a
very
um short madrish
that describes like this idea
that the Tabernacle itself it's called
mishkana edus it's called a tabernacle
of testimony what is it giving testimony
to that we were forgiven
okay so this is the way the major says
that the Tabernacle bear Bear's
testimony to the entire world you guys
listen well it's not just us that have
to know this
that the entire world
to what what's the testimony that he
forgave them for the episode of the
golden calf
and then he gives the measures gives a
analogy this might be likened to a King
who marries a woman he loves dearly
after some time he becomes angry with
her and he leaves her so the neighbors
ridicule her
this just thinking like terms of the
nations with the Jewish people
they say to her you know repent or your
husband will not return to you well
after some time he does return to her
Palace he eats and he drinks with her
but you know what the neighbors write
these other religions the Nations
they're still not convinced that the
king had become reconciled with her
however after they experienced meaning
they all saw and witnessed the vagrant
fragrance of spices ascending from the
house which by the way is what happens
in the temple all of them realize that
he had become leaning the king had
become reconciled with her
similarly the Holy One blessed me he
loved Israel he gave them the Torah
remember he called them a nation a holy
nation a kingdom of priests and a holy
nation right attempt you leave
when they sinned after 40 days you know
what the nation said oh he left he's not
going to return to them
Moses arose and then pleaded for mercy
on their behalf what did he plead
exactly these ideas that we're talking
about now the 13 attributes of mercy and
he replied meaning right Hashem said in
Numbers Chapter 14 verse 20 of the Omar
hashems
it says it black and white I have
forgiven you as you said according to
your word he used these 13 attributes of
mercy and God said I forgive you just as
you said
close enough
correct numbers 14 20.
and Moses then asked drum roll please
who will make it known to the Nations
and he replied to him
let them make for me a sanctuary
that when the nation smelled the
fragrance of the smoke and it ascended
from the midst of the sanctuary they
knew that the Holy One blessed me he had
become reconciled with them
now by the way just a side point we
don't have a temple today but we've had
how many years did we have like 900
years we had a temple right 401st time
400 plus the second time
and we're going to have Ezekiel right
it's the whole idea we will have a third
Temple
now the point I wanted to make let me
just think what it was
um
I'm sorry kind of space that for one
second
um okay let's move on and I'll probably
remember what I wanted to say
um let's just move on for a second
okay
and I want to take us now
this idea that we had a temple for let's
see almost 900 years true
there was a point in time where we were
actually exiled
two years earlier and we're going to
talk about this right now
so 40 years before the destruction of
the first temple
Jeremiah Navi he already began rebuking
the Jewish people for committing the
three cardinal sins that would be murder
idolatry and forbid relations now he
warned them that the Doom that hovered
over them would would occur if they
didn't soon repent
well
they didn't repent they did not read
but the the verse that describes the
impending doom is pretty pretty harsh
I want to read I want you to read
Deuteronomy chapter 4.
I want you to read both 25 and 26 right
chapter 4 of Deuteronomy
at 25 and 26.
Deuteronomy Chapter 4 verses 24 and 20
or 25 and 26 yeah chapter 4 25 26 yeah
25 when you beget children and
children's children and you will be long
established in the land and you become
corrupt and make a Graven image the
likeness of anything and do evil in the
eyes of the Lord your God to provoke him
to anger
my call as Witnesses against you this
very day the Heaven and the Earth that
you will speedily and utterly perish
from the land to which you cross the
Jordan to possess you will not prolong
your days upon it but will be utterly
destroyed
okay I want to focus on two aspects in
the beginning and 25 it says you will be
long established in the land
now we weren't really there that long
but in in the end of verse 26 you will
you know you're going to go into exiled
you're going to be around other people
and
um you're going to be eventually totally
destroyed
okay
that means utter destruction
I'm here
you know other Jews we're not others
destroyed
it's got a liar
he said he's going to do it
you know what he did I want you to look
at the the Hebrew word
the in for the English says you will
long be established in the land
so in Hebrew it says
the very word Vin no chantan
is 852.
that's the Gamache that's the value of
the word
we were exiled two years earlier in
other words
if we would have
been in the land two years longer
than that prophecy would have been
fulfilled
well we would have been utterly
destroyed so God in his Mercy we didn't
even deserve it
I mean it looks bad right we got exiled
two years earlier in other words yeah
you're gonna have lots of children
you're going to be in the land for a
long time and then you're going to
become so corrupt well guess what before
we became so corrupt we were only just
corrupt right we're only corrupt to a
point we weren't like exceedingly
corrupt I I whatever we could have been
worse so instead of going to that point
of no return God kicked us out of the
land two years the land spat yeah
in order that number in verse 26 where
it says you will be absolutely destroyed
right
that never happened because we were
never in the land for the full uh length
of time that God spoke about as the 852
years I want to look at that Rashi on
that verse you will be long established
then no Sean Tim
he hinted to them that they would be
exiled from it at the end of 852 years
that's the gamachu the numerical value
of that word
but he exiled them earlier at the end of
850 years he did this two years earlier
than the Camacho than the value of the
word in order to prophecy about them
should not be fulfilled
the prophecy of utter destruction should
not be fulfilled
this is the meaning of what it says and
we're going to take you there and
assurely that the Lord hastened with the
evil in others he brought evil earlier
on
in order to bring upon us but really the
Lord is charitable and I want to show
you in Daniel chapter 9 verse 14.
come on second Prophets
oh Daniel's listed as scriptures right
yeah
Daniel chapter 9.
verse 14.
reads
[Music]
um and the Lord hastened with the evil
and brought it upon us for the Lord our
God is righteous with all his deeds
which he performs and we did not hearken
to his voice
I just think that's just try to imagine
you have to hear the Hebrew but Hashem
hastened the Calamity he brought it
forth the yish code Hashem al-hara he
brought the evil earlier he brought
yishikode it means to jump forward
that's why we're in the springtime right
now
is almonds because they're the first to
Bud uh the trees who butt early
and he brought upon us but it says
Hashem because God is righteous but
Sadiq is like going beyond the letter of
the law
he he that's what he does
in fact just to take you quickly to
Leviticus chapter 26.
similar words in this chat it's verse 44
and 45.
in Leviticus correct
uh 44 and 45.
because this verse is talking about
after the other verse in Deuteronomy
mentioned that we're going to be exiled
we're going to be in the land of enemies
when we totally destroyed now we have to
understand this verse 44 and 45 say but
despite all this while they are in the
land of their enemies I will not despise
them nor will I reject them to
annihilate them thereby breaking my
Covenant that is with them for I am the
Lord their god wow that is so profound
this is his Covenant
remember we break the Covenant he does
not
go ahead and keep reading 45 says I will
remember for them the covenant made with
the ancestors whom I took out from the
land of Egypt before the eyes of the
Nations to be a God to them I am the
Lord
now just so people understand what does
it mean that God's going to bring the
Calamity early the same thing that he
can also bring the the um
the uh the Redemption early I want to
take you to Isaiah chapter 60 verse 22.
foreign
maybe just while you're looking it up
this idea that he can bring the Calamity
early and that which is what saves us
right we saw that in those verses
but verse 22 you said uh chapter 60
verse 22 60 22 says the smallest shall
become a thousand and the least a mighty
nation I am the Lord in its time I will
hasten it
now in the Hebrew you have to hear that
perhaps you've heard these words beta
means in its time
means I'll bring it quickly
uh hastenet
so
we have a tradition that mashiach has to
come by
the year 6000 that's talking about in
its time
so it's going to happen whether we're
ready prepared or not
it means
if we are worthy if we earn it if we
deserve it Merit yeah bring it even
quicker
so that's just some background
um just to get an idea
of the I'm going to call it
recalculation right when you're driving
with waves or if I guess uh whatever
country you're in if you use some kind
of GPS uh to get some point A to point B
and it tells you to get off at a certain
intersection or whatever make a right
turn and you don't
so then the lady or whoever voice you're
listening to
will tell you uh or maybe a little thing
recalculating
and then it will give you new
instructions
I mean Hashem knows everything so
if the Deeds that we what we do is going
to have an effect on the recalculation
so that has to do with the ultimate
Redemption as well
um so even though he might have said
you're going to be there for 852 years
his love for us
kicked us out two years earlier and
therefore the horrible
prophecy of our other destruction not
only didn't it happen it didn't happen
because God willed it not to happen
because that's the Covenant that he made
that it should be inconsistent with this
Covenant sure that's consistent also
with the verse you just read Leviticus
26. well there's got to be such a source
of a strength in faith right for sure
for the Hebrew people I mean you know
like
Rabbi I mean I when I was a young man
when I was 18 I had a cliff accident I
fell 240 feet down a cliff uh uh 150 of
it was full free fall so about 15
stories was full free fall boom and I
was ready you know miraculously rescued
uh by uh uh firefighters rappelling down
and volunteers hoisting me a long story
short for me it's been one of those
things that boom just stick with me and
keep me driving forward that Hashem or a
region and a purpose but when I hear you
talk about how profound these incident
is here in the text it must be such a
profound uh
Bedrock of faith for the Hebrew people
for sure
used to be yeah I mean even in the
Holocaust when there were people who
said you know where is God and then
someone could turn around and show them
the Bible and say are you kidding me it
says right here all these things are
going to be for you right all the curses
and you're gonna ask Where's God it's
like exactly like for its own right
there and some people who I personally
know it spread the whole Holocaust
experience I could not imagine
it's strengthen their faith in God
because it was so Supernatural
what we went through that it had to be
only the hand of God never happened to
any other people like this
[Music]
wow
okay so let's go back into this where it
says basically at this point about the
852 years
the measure of their sins would be would
be filled until it could no longer be
born and they would be destroyed in
other words God wouldn't be able to
handle so to speak uh the land wouldn't
be able to handle the sin of the Jewish
people so in order to prevent the decree
of their destruction from being
fulfilled Hashem exiled us two years
before the foretold time before the
measure of our sins could be filled now
despite this terrible low that we had
reached
Jeremiah begins his words of
admonishment and warning with one of the
most beautiful
and inspiring expressions of God's love
for us that we find throughout the
Tanakh words that we repeat in our Rosh
Hashanah daviding
it says kind of read it already but
basically go out and call nears of your
shalim and say right we just read this
in Jeremiah 2 2. so says Hashem I
remember for you the kindness of your
youth the love of your bridehood when
you followed me in the desert into an
unsung land
so here's just like a paragraph I want
to read out to you what if you're my
call out to them he said dear Jews
you are about to hear harsh words of
rebuke and dire predictions of Doom but
you must know that none of this detracts
from hashem's Love For You Hashem still
remembers his love for you of old he
remembers your dedication to him and
your complete faith in him you did not
know the Miracles that awaited you
or how you would find food in the barren
Wasteland but you still filed Hashem
into the desert with perfect faith and I
mean that's really sums it up huh this
is the way of God he recalls on behalf
of the Jewish people the days that
passed when our commitment to him was
still strong he gathers all the missiles
we've ever done since day of our birth
and makes from there a great segula like
a treasure house in order to have mercy
on us
now the attribute of Mercy includes all
others as we mentioned in the Zohar
okay
there's still really a lot to go but I
do want to get to that last wow I don't
think I even got through half of
the stuff
um if you want to split the class if you
think you got enough material for
another hour at another time I mean
no I I wanna
I should always do a 13.
I know maybe maybe that's the right way
to go
that'll get you maybe
um
I have a feeling that if I start another
you know we break into two I'm gonna
have to do a lot of uh recap
and that would take too much time so
let's let's go for another 10 minutes
and we'll see
maybe we'll break into two with this
attribute Hashem remembers us on behalf
of the ancient love he had the old love
he had for us this love accompanies
accompanies us at all times in every
situation however low we might fall
and even after the destruction of the
base of miktash are harsh and bitter
Exile when the dire predictions against
which the prophets warned us had been
fulfilled because still sees the into
the depths of the Jewish soul to the
place where it's still pure and innocent
as it was before we ever sinned
um
you know I think I pretty much covered
these ideas
so what I'll do let's go to
[Applause]
the very end where I want to sum it up
the seam is the epilogue okay this is
going to be the epilogue
and so what I notice is the stuff that
um that I still have yet to talk about
were things I already did talk about but
maybe didn't go into such death depth
but I think it's fine
um
there's I guess you know what there's
one more point before we get into the
last idea in Song of Songs chapter 1
verse 5
.
it speaks about
black is beautiful
I am black yeah you have it
Song of Songs chapter 1 verse five
correct
[Music]
uh one verse 5 says I am black but
calmly o Daughters of Jerusalem like the
tents of qadar like the curtains of
Solomon
okay so this is a very interesting thing
because without being you know obviously
there's nothing racial intended here
uh black implies
I'm not talking about skin I mean here
in this case we're talking about suntan
but anyway
um meaning full of full of sin and yet
God still has this love
by the way the idea of Jerusalem we have
a prediction right it's talked about in
Judaism that the borders of the city of
Jerusalem will expand to the entire
State meaning whatever the the land of
Israel
and the Holiness of the land of Israel
expands through the rest of the world
so maybe that's where garetosha will
come into uh existence for every human
being who wants to live in the land of
Israel when Israel in conference
encompasses the whole world but there's
such a love even the Jewish people are
called Jerusalem or Daughters of
Jerusalem
uh it's not talking about literally
Jerusalem Summit Israel and therefore
anyway this uh Rashi mentions this
allegory is that the children of Israel
say to the Nations
it's true I am black in my Deeds but I
am coming in the Deeds of my ancestors
even
some of my Deeds even if in even some of
my Deeds are comely
true
if I am guilty of the iniquity of the
golden calf which is true I was I can
counter it with the Merit of the
acceptance of the Torah
just keep this in mind for non-jew
accepting that the Torah is true
that
I'm keeping the seven knock I lost
because God commanded me that is a huge
we talked about this right that part of
the transformation
so anyway he calls the Nations the
daughters of Jerusalem
because she Jerusalem is destined to
become the Metropolis
for them all and this is predicted in
Ezekiel chapter 16 verse 61.
chapter 16 verse 61.
forgive me Rabbi I'm my mouse is getting
awfully oversensitive if I do use it so
often uh verse 61 reads and you will
remember your ways and you will be
humiliated when you take your sisters
joining those greater than you to those
smaller than you and I shall give them
to your to to you for your daughters but
not from your Covenant
can you explain that
um yeah I'm gonna try but not from your
Covenant suraji says but not because of
your observance of the Covenant that I
made with you but because of my kindness
and my mercies so it's not because they
can't become in fact they didn't but
Hashem is keeping his word right not
from your side but from his side
that he is keeping his Covenant but you
have not kept yours this is very
important we are commanded to follow God
we are commanded basically to judge
other people's favorably again
people who are righteous we judge
favorably people who are venonine people
like in the middle it's a it's it's
Pious it's the right thing to do people
who are extremely evil very few and far
in between perhaps we should not act
towards them mercifully but it wouldn't
hurt to think about the idea that at
some point they were righteous
um so that I think basically sums up
this idea now the summary that the book
behind me on my left shoulder says like
this
adcon this is up until now this is the
epilogue
again
we we've reached the third team
that a person should represent like uh
be similar to should follow the ways of
his creator
these are the attributes of supernal
Mercy
and what is their treasure what is their
worth
commercial
just as a person behaves towards another
human being down in this world
so too he merits
to like open like we talk about the the
the the faucet the spigot open the flow
of sheffa coming down with this
unbelievable supernal trait from above
it goes according to behavior I mean it
starts with the thoughts I mean how are
you going to treat him without humility
Believe It or Not Just precisely as the
person behaves
so he influences above causing the same
attribute to shine into the world
I mean if that's not a summary of
everything we talked about
it's we're not finished okay so
therefore
one should not forget this you have to
go and review them and review them
really integrate them into your
Consciousness into your awareness be
cognizant of these things to the point
that these verses will never be removed
from your mouth
in order that you should always remember
them it should serve as a reminder and
to the point when event happens listen
to this can I show you
something happens to you you say to
yourself
which media should I implement
[Music]
in order to overcome my own personal
test to to emulate Hashem I should work
on this Meda on this particular straight
menu
um you don't want to Veer from this
attribute
in order that this character trait does
not disappear from the world you want to
bring it into the world you can
verbalize it I mean the idea is to be
conscious of it right the words are
actually very interesting when he says
um
it shouldn't be removed from the eyes of
your intelligent which in other words
your third eye your intuition your
consciousness
right be cognizant bring it into your
constant awareness
and um I believe I mean I'm only talking
from experience
it'll change your life it'll change your
relationships with others it'll change
the way people even look at you but
it'll certainly change the way God looks
at you because God will judge you the
way you judge others and that is going
to be the ultimate uh pH test you know
you I I believe you want everyone who's
listening would love to be judged
favorably by God and it's measure for
measure media connected media you have
to figure out how it's it's an exercise
It Ain't Easy oh no we've tested and
tested many times until you oh Rabbi
yeah all you can say is this is just so
ring so true with me but uh often too
often yeah the testing comes to push you
know are you going to respond correctly
and and I I find you know the beauty
that's here in the uh the uh attributes
of hashem's mercies just is is beyond
compare
but uh uh trying to uh put it into
honest and legitimate practice
uh I find there are just so many people
that will just slurp it up like
spaghetti as if you know something's
owed to them and just take take take
take and and I I don't know I mean I
don't wanna I don't wanna cross any
lines but I mean uh
how do you hold back you know who owns
the world
okay
all the money that you have who's really
the owner Hashem
so someone asked for sadaka charity okay
so usually you you use the best
um you know intelligence you have is
this person taking advantage I don't
know so give them a small amount so you
check it out make the effort you find
out it's he's legit right he's asking he
has a
uh what's the word you know a uh a
handicap of some sort whether it's
emotionally intellectually he cannot
keep a job okay so he needs food you
know what I'm saying like you're so many
times we see people they're collecting
charity and we think he certainly looks
healthy why can't you work right
uh you know for somebody who's they're
not only they're not stealing they're
not out there you know holding people at
gunpoints they're not bullying people to
give money
the the legitimate like asking with a
sweet voice
so like it's a real sickness if they're
totally capable you understand it's a
sickness if they're actually capable of
working and they're not working so even
that reasons you can give them
again a small amount
um so you're Distributing you're God's
distributor so you can pray on it you
know you ask Hashem I'd like to have
some clarity
maybe when you do your homework on this
guy on this person and until you do you
give them a small amount you feel good
about it because you know you didn't
give them so much but you can get listen
it's enough for a hamburger or whatever
soda or you know
a new blanket who knows
wow well thank you for uh the advice
you're always given Sound Advice I
appreciate it beautiful lesson so far
yeah
so I don't think I think we covered it I
don't think we have to go uh to do a
second part
um the question is what will we do after
pesach and then I will leave up to some
you know we'll we'll I'll be thinking
about it I'll be praying to Hashem
uh in the meantime if anybody has any
suggestions we will take it in
consideration we will think about it
right so if you folks are listening up
there if you have a suggestion that
you'd like to see uh Rabbi Poston uh
share uh I mean we spent uh oh a year
and a half doing the 48 ways uh to
wisdom uh and uh this Tomer dvora I
think you know to try to do in 13
sessions I think there's so much more in
this book uh you know I'm just looking
online if I can get a uh a Kindle
version in English uh um
Dan I will tell you this is only chapter
one the book has many more chapters but
it's extremely kabbalistic I don't think
that that is
um suitable for the general audience
in general but uh
so people who do want to check it out
it's not this file this copy only goes
it's only chapter one uh I don't it
could be there I do believe that the
rest of it has been translated into
English
it just scratches on the the 13
attributes
chapter one is strictly about the 13
attributes and then the rest I won't
even tell you what it goes into other
than it's extremely kabbalistic it's all
about the Sphero and the different
attributes on a a whole nother madrega a
whole nother level
wow we're not going to go there this
this this session maybe in 40. I think
it was a wise selection and definitely
beneficial for me uh specifically we
hope that you folks out there like it
feel free to share that uh this video on
social media make sure you press the
like button uh give us a like and uh if
you're interested uh I think uh are you
still doing a a
some sort of uh
uh charity uh Outreach uh at eubenake
and they can sure sure we could put a
link below
um before pesoch is a Jewish tradition
that for those who can't afford wine and
matzah and other uh food food items for
the holiday which you know it obviously
is very expensive
um to help people
celebrating dignity we provide food
vouchers that we we don't get a discount
on them but uh no I know they're
actually distribute
um for people in need that this is how
we do it so we distribute thousands of
dollars worth of these um
to people who are bona fide
in in need whether they're transitioning
from work or some of them are actually
handicapped in different ways and the
summer yeah
in the last several years getting to
know any children yeah go ahead sorry
the things that you're doing at Yuma are
the real deal uh reaching out to people
in need
um and you're just uh we appreciate all
that you do and so folks I encourage you
if you're able and you want to support a
good cause worthy cause uh in Israel go
to ebay.com I'm sure they've got a a
donations tabs there uh I know Rabbi
Poston will make sure it actually gets
to where it's gotta go uh champ of a
person uh
but Rabbi more than that uh uh this uh
13 attributes of hashem's Mercy just
answers I needed uh for living and um
more I still need to digest
to actually be able to put into practice
but I know it's there based on the
lessons that you've shared and I want to
thank you so much for that so
um if you have a suggestion if you'd
like to hear Rabbi Poston share uh after
uh uh pasak uh we may start a new uh
uh book series or something with the
beyond the seven uh uh but uh I
appreciate you uh sharing the theme of
what is available for banana beyond the
seven and opening our minds to the
greatness of Hashem and the beauty of
Torah and Tanakh I think this tomor
devorah definitely uh uh touches on some
deep uh seated ideas that the whole
world can benefit from uh for certain
and uh so um
we're gonna sign out for today if you
have a suggestion send it in the chats
uh or you can always send me a message
or an email
um and we'll see it we'll take it under
consideration uh so until our next
session keep an eye out uh for our next
post uh till then have a wonderful
wonderful week everybody bye for now
