The first reaction of After the Summer. This is going to be an interesting one. Uh this is This is Why by YC Shore. Uh I'm not sure who YC is. And Visual Besser Vim. I don't know this song. I see this thumbnail has the picture of Jeep Choir, one of their albums, which I'm very excited if it's a parody of them. I'm not sure though cuz I never watched his video. This was recommended by a good friend of mine. So, shout out to him. So, let's get started. Anybody who's ever gone to camp knows about how much creativity and how much originality it brings forth. Color especially. A lot of these songs that I written in color are so cute, so sweet. Last year I saw a song. I saw the lyrics to a song and a clip of a song that wasn't cute in the west. >> Oh, this guy is in Tampa Midwest. The team and the team of Guff, very talented young man named YC Shore wrote a song, a theme song for the team of Guff that was arresting. He was explaining the majesty, the splendor inherent in the way he did it was brilliant. Oh, so it is a parody of Dear Nikolai. Okay, this is going to be interesting. [Applause] [Music] Oh, it was composed by Heshi Walfish. I did not know that. >> That's really cool. Heshi Wfish is the partner of country. [Music] Sto ready to bring to army here in your glory belongs. It can't be entrusted to manem [Music] hold of my throne. Explain why I can't stay here with them. Oh, can you understand what it means to keep the D? You can't imagine what it feels like to fight a burning. How can you comprehend what it takes to have a moon when threatened by a hostile nations who want nothing more than to see us gone? [Music] It's interesting. It's very simple lyrics, but it's like way too simple. It's like typical for like a camp color war song. >> But the only the only thing it's why it's elevating the song for me is because of the original song of my dear Nikolai. Other than that, it's a very mediocre >> song [Music] arrives at home. A smile on his face, a feeling he just can't describe. I pushed myself. I won this fight. [Music] How did Okay, [Music] for his n [Music] we may stumble. >> We will fight our burning at heart. [Music] Now you comprehend only we deserve sorrow. No matter how big the struggle with them who know we'll always make it through. Without a good, there's no challenge to bring us to all. I'm so happy for these boys cuz they're going to encounter in the sand like everybody does encounter a place of challenge or a time of challenge and the refrain to this song is going to it's just going to come alive in their head and start playing and that's going to be more powerful than a thousand value videos cuz it's the essence of the fight. >> Okay. Um, just in general, it's a nice song and it's pretty good for a color war song. Just it's it it's a very mediocre song. The lyrics sometimes just takes you like you're it takes you there and you're very happy when you're there, but then it just swishes to something out of like anywhere. um just for me personally when it comes to bringing in things like YaF and what I'm basically saying there's no buildup in its lyrics to where it wants to go um and the only buildup that actually works is because of the song Dear Nikolai is such a classic amazing composed song. I think this song has potential if it was just written better. Simple words and lyrics have worked all the time, especially with Amy Rottenberg, first of for example, the way how he writes lyrics are very simple but deep. And I feel like here it's very simple, but it doesn't like grab you into it. But for kids, it's amazing. It's very simple. So for kids, it's good, but for me as a person that enjoys Jewish music in general, when I just listened to this, it's very mediocre. But good job for the the camp that came up with this song and did it. It was very it's very nice. That is my reaction for this song. Um this is why.
