Because that the word Hebrew in Hebrew is and it comes from the word eel. E was the grandfather of Abraham. So why Abraham and not his father? Because the word means to be in the other side. For example, the other side of the Jordan River called Aen. Abraham was the first person that stands against all of his generation to teach them that there is only one God.
