rabbi weinberg's was supposed to be the massage at our wedding he was supposed to officiate at our wedding i got a call we got married on a monday night and we were i had an off roof i was called up to the torah in montreal in my hometown and and then was heading back to baltimore i got a message that as soon as i came to baltimore i had to come to see my rebbe rabbi weinbridge i came to see him on sunday evening i sat down in his office and he looks at me tearfully he says maisha um there was a mistake with my calendar there's a uh an organization that's engaged in an outreach significantly it was organization in detroit and they had asked me to come speak at their event and the understanding was that their event was a tuesday it was tuesday night and it's actually it's actually on monday night and he looked at me when she's what do i do what should i do and um and uh you know the answer was obvious i said rebbe you're supposed to be masada kadush and you're supposed to officiate at my wedding because i'm your talmud because i'm your student but i couldn't claim to be your student if i told you that you should come to my wedding instead of going and making a difference for an organization and for a cause like that so of course you should go [Music]
