Maggid of The Masters: Intro

hi i'm david pardo i run the ou's tour initiatives and i am on a quest for the perfect seder the seder is the zenith of jewish education it's the cornerstone of amuna it's our opportunity to insert ourselves into the mesorah to transmit our story from egypt to our children's children but for a lot of us the seder kind of falls short just rushing through these var torahs and checking all the boxes to make sure we can get to the food part i think a lot of us want more than that most of us have been to a rebbies for shoppers almost none of us have been to arabies for pesach i've never been tending my rabbis for pesach i don't know what they do i hear the dvar torahs i learn the vorts i buy the haggadahs i have all them and hugging but what actually happens what does it look like what does it feel like how do the masters do it well i'm here to fix that i'm gonna schlep myself out to meet the best of the best or to bring some of their seder to yours i want to answer the questions like do you prepare for the seder or do you say the same thing every year what ha gotta do you use does everybody read do you go around in a circle how do you keep kids and adults engaged at the same time how do you keep it interesting to use stick like masks and ping pong balls or no not at all what do you do when you get to the makos on the yamsu how do you keep everybody awake and engaged join me and we're going to find out how to mask the market with the market of the masters you
