Ever wonder why women stop doing melacha after lighting the Chanukah candles?

Why do women not do any melachah or any kind of  work after lighting the candles? That is a really   really great question and the answer is something  that is so inspiring and so uplifting. There were   two women in the Chanukah story, Yehudit, who  saved the Jewish people on the battlefield,   and Chana, who demonstrated remarkable  faith in Hashem from the sacrifice of her   seven sons. When we take time off, just  take the opportunity to pause and focus   on those candles and the messages of courage  and faith that these two women shared with us.
