During the war with Iran, Israelis had to run into bomb shelters several times a day. I remember going to bomb shelters several times a night. We would see the absolute destruction the next day caused by ballistic missiles and then hearing giant booms in the air above our heads. You really felt how delicate life is. Such a narrow bridge. But those moments in the bomb shelter, they caused the people of Israel to reflect. Those times really got people thinking about life. Are they living a good life? A life they're proud of. The time inspired people to really soulsearch. And in some ways, it really changed Israel fundamentally. Wet, one of Israel's top internet news websites reported that Israelis, 63% now are praying more, 59% are talking to God more, and 45% are reciting Psalms more often since the war. Israel is the only country in the modern world that as it's becoming more prosperous, it's becoming more spiritual and more connected to God. Every other country, as it becomes more wealthy, as it becomes more successful, it just forgets God. But Israel is the one exception to the rule and different than every other nation. As it continues to grow and develop and become more prosperous, it's becoming more spiritual, more connected to God. We can't always see it. But if we live by the principle that everything that happens to Israel happens for Israel, that means that even the hard times of war, times in the bomb shelter, everything that Israel is going through is actually molding Israel into who we were created to be. That was a highlight from the Land of Israel Fellowship. If you enjoyed that clip, you'll love the fellowship.
