What does a 14-year-old boy reading 63 consecutive verses of the Torah have to teach us about faith, family, and the coming new year? This past Shabbat in our synagogue in the hills of Judea, I witnessed a moment I will never forget. As a young boy struggled through the Tochacha, the Torah’s warnings and curses—his father stood beside him, guiding him note by note. Then, in the middle of the hardest passage, his father reached over and placed his hand on his son’s cheek. In that moment, I understood something profound about the words, “because you did not serve Hashem your God with joy.” As we approach Rosh Hashanah, may we remember that even when the pages ahead seem overwhelming, we are never standing at the Torah alone. 👉 Join the Land of Israel Fellowship and learn Torah, explore the Land of Israel, and walk together toward redemption from the hills of Judea. https://thelandofisrael.com/membership-tiers/ 🔔If this message touched you, please like this video, subscribe to our channel, and leave a comment sharing what spoke to you most.
