The Three Weeks - Nobody Makes it Out of Here Alive, or Do They - Rabbi Gedaliah Gurfein

he's supposed to be you don't get out nobody gets here live or almost no life and it was really going to be a look at the three weeks and the horrible make a mint - and so on so are fearing that at least more than one hand was going to go up when I asked that question what I will do is I will just take a few minutes to explain that people's common what it's all about and then afterwards if there they are an opportunity to sort of do a timeout wake up why am I here why are we here and why are we here in Jerusalem no less why are you here that is Israel who are our people and what is our history what is our future and by waking up to that it actually prepares us to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur because it becomes a sober period that then gives birth if you will to L which is an opportunity to really then rectify ourselves and to going forward but to be able to understand all of this we need to understand what were the causes and what was the impact of what brought about the three weeks so the first thing I wanted to share is a couple of sources here which I'll read with you and you'll get a feel for the way that people's Talmud is written as well or partly I sort of and far away when the other animal was pushed off the cliff of Azazel and the atonement had been achieved a miracle would happen and the red cloth would miraculously turn white red being a symbol both of a sob and the stain if you will sin and white representing the both of these things ended or that purity thank you absolutely I knew I was going to count on you we wait this mall to the first input
