The warden rejects kosher food for the prisoners #thestruggle #Prison #kosher food

And um he goes into the warden's office and he says, "You know, I would like to discuss about creating a program where we can provide kosher to the Jewish men that are here." And uh he asked him, he said, "Rabbi, why should I give them kosher food? Why should I do that?" So he remembers, he would recall, he said he looked around and he saw that on the walls of the office were all these Bible verses. is and so he figured this is a deeply religious man and maybe if he you know approaches it from the idea that it's in the Bible and it's a biblical commandment and God commands Jews to keep kosher. So he attempts to uh say this he says he'll never forget this warden he picks up his his feet and he was wearing big boots with spurs and he puts them on the desk and he looks at him. He says God in here I'm God and I say there'll be no kosher. That was the story.
