The worst moment for me, fortunately,
was the last time I ever gambled.
>> Wow. And
it was so bad and so painful
that and this is where you I can now go
back and see Hashem's hand in
everything.
So, it was Presidents' Day, 2017.
For whatever reason, at the last second,
the manager text everyone in the office,
"We're closed today."
At that point, I was gambling like crazy
and my wife didn't know. And I told my
wife, you know,
"It's Presidents' Day, they're giving us
off. She had work and my kids at
school."
And as far as my wife knew, I hadn't
gambled in a year.
So, I'm like, "Maybe I'll go to the
casino today."
She's like, "Oh, but you don't have
money cuz we just moved to a new place
and we had to pay rent and we saved up
all our money to pay."
I should have turned around and went
home.
But I couldn't. Within 2 hours, I was
done. All the money.
And now I was petrified because
I can't replace that in by the time when
my rent is due.
