Helping Patients, Not Hooking Them!

Mhm. >> I had a supervisor in residency, God bless his soul, um who would tell me, you know, when you start your practice, make sure you give patients Xanax because they're going to have to come back. And I said to him, my patients are going to come back without me putting them on Xanax. >> Um you know, the the name of the game is to help patients, not to get them hooked, >> right? >> And um to this day, I'm not sure if he was serious or joking. He was a big joker. I hope he was joking. >> Yeah. Yeah. But it's harsh. >> Yeah. It's it's more than harsh. It's actually unethical. >> It's destructive. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Now, let me let's talk about stigma. Stigma in the community probably coming down. It's coming down a little bit, but I wonder if you can eradicate this thing completely.
