today and there's something I'm talking about he'd shoot at Eva the renewal of nature that happens here in a more manifested rather than probably anywhere else in the world yeah since the beginning of the summer I've been waking up now and Avenue for taking dubbing with the sunrise with my oldest son la vie and we've been going out into the vineyards at our farm and just working the land for three or four hours and the week I was about like nine o'clock in the morning ten o'clock in the morning and I feel like I've already lived a full day and I start off my day like getting my hands dirty and Eric's Easter oh I'm just like it's like how much more can I fall in love with this land it's definitely a lot more yeah it's just unbelievable it's just such a suit to be here to live here to be able to like share our experiences here with all of our listeners it's just unbelievable I have to add though I mean I'm coming off a high of what you're describing because my wife and children I got on the car I guess today for us it's about an eight-minute drive drove out to the farm to the vineyards to get a closer look to feel to feel more close to that which we're very excited about and my kids my kids I just in heaven they can't wait to get more and more involved and with everything that's going on so it's a very exciting time so I just want to give you a brother a strong Brook right now as we're going into the heat of the summer hold on tight just hold on tight that's it and to bless you with what we're gonna be talking about today beat on beat on beat on we hear that word a lot in Israel because like security but we're not talking about that kind of Beatle on the security unit that's patrolling here you know we're talking about the kind of baton that we need as as Jews as human beings we need a lot of trust to really live with a sincere sense of trust that I could borrow who that God is running the show and he's running the world you know when I was younger I used to do the following thing all the time I don't know why in the world I decided to it to do it but it was actually pretty powerful experience before I had cross the street I'd imagine right now that right now someone would be getting run over or I would cause for shell him be in a car accident and I'd get run over and then I'd be like look what God is doing he's rewinding time and now I'm choosing to wait a second look both ways and walk and cross carefully and every time I would do this I would feel like I was just saved from a car accident Wow doing that was about 14 Wow I remember this clear I remember the intersection right would do this on Friday nights walking to the synagogue with my father it's pretty pretty crazy did someone tell you to do that that was just your own invention see what it is I mean look I was a very sensitive kid like like many of us were but I realized that there were so many moments in life like terrorist attacks that I always be like what if what would it be like to go back in time and be able to pull someone away from the line of fire or pull someone away from a car that's coming on you know a head-on collision like a second before like that to me would be like God really showing me that he's really like pulling a miracle and caring and saving me from something and then I said wait a second how do I know that that's not happening right now how do I know that I'm not living that reenactment but having the ability to choose a different you know to change courses right before well it's a very I don't even know I wonder what I was on then 14 years old like what was what what was i eating you know what am i mom is really puberty the truth is friends I will say it's really you know honestly the way the kids grew up here you you do grow up with a different sense of experience on every level on every level like your children now you know your oldest is 14 my old I see the way they they're growing up with a different interaction with nature and he'll be tahan trust means that at any given second it's clear to you that you're being protected right now right now that things possibly because this world is so chaotic and crazy and especially we feel us in the holy land that we're surrounded by enemies things could right now explode in our faces in a second and God is showing us why we're being awakened conscious and I'll show you do you see and you're being protected to realize it and then live through that be Tejon that security Wow and it's something that already night to every once in a while but at any moment the whole world can be changed just you know if it's Iran's nuclear bomb North Korea's nuclear bomb with Donald Trump it's like a tinderbox that's just waiting for something and it's a huge step and we think that just because yesterday was a chilled-out day and the day before yesterday was a pretty chilled out day that tomorrow who knows something could be dropped something could go off and the whole world will be different in the fact that Israel is six million Jews surrounded by 1.3 billion Muslims worth a lot of them really want to throw us into the sea and we're just living here happily and our children are going to gun and we're just building this amazing economy in an amazing society we are like one sheep surrounded by wolves every moment here is a miracle what does it take though to feel that war on a regular basis it's kind of like about the pace of our lives we need to slow down a little bit not with without what we're doing but how we're being distracted I think less distractions invites more of a consciousness to what you're saying that at any given second how call u-haul it puts us everything can be blown up yeah that's a reality but I want to remember that more during my day this brings us right into our parsha can I tell you something I'm sharing a little bit lately for some reason I don't know why and I don't know how but several of my very close friends tragedies struck them one we know then we've been talking about a lot on the network is the beautiful Goya Kyra frying been Rahil Devorah right Erev Pesach this little boy was diagnosed with a terrible terrible reality and it just simcha and Rachel's whole world just shifted I have another friend their other kid just ended up in the hospital she's been there now for several days you just never know what's gonna happen how it's gonna happen it could happen to me tomorrow I could walk out of this radio show and a bus could you just you have no control you have no idea and I feel like the more involved I am ironically in other people's challenges and the more I try to be with them and help them the more it allows me to appreciate my troubles I want to marry my troubles I want I'll of my troubles so much I have so many challenges in so many troubles but I just want to like marry them and live with them and I just want to hug them because there's so many challenges around us all the time that I am just mom is just as protecting us and gives us the challenges but he knows the we can handle and so there is a constant shield of protection I feel like just appreciating our lives is by touching other people's pain and seeing where they're at allows us to really appreciate yes everyone's got challenges and everyone's got suffering but once you start touching other people's sufferings you realize really how blessed we are yeah okay I love I am an I hope you always feel like then forever resolution so I want to bring us into the portion of our week of Prayer shuttle cattle and my favorite portions mainly because of my bar mitzvah portions really connected to it yeah and a lot happens 38 out of the 40 years in the desert take place in this parsha we have the hitting of the rock we have Miriam dyes our own dyes Brett a fur there's a play with which we'll talk about in a second there's wars with nations there's a lot going on but there's one thing about beat Tejon that i wanted to speak about in this in today's segment we're in the middle of the walk in the desert it says that the nation's started talking about God in motion and they said there's no bread here there's no water and our souls are just just sick of this let him clock el which means this like stale bread and then right away God immediately only sends out these serpents and they caught they start biting a bunch of people in the people in the nation of Israel and a bunch people start dying then God tells Moses take make a snake out of copper place it on a banner whoever looks up at the snake of copper will be healed a very puzzling matter although one you know you ever realize with them the logo of Medicine is it's the ARMA States the serpent and it's from this sure yeah this is the source of healing the source of medication of medicine anyway but what I saw here was something really beautiful but based on one of our TR one of the great sages our being a Baha'i a what were we really cool crutching about this source of complaining in the desert we were being surrounded by clouds of glory was good becoming every Mahna Mahna was falling from heavens water was was being provided to us all the time what I mean what are they saying we have no bread we have no water it's that we they looked at the way the nations of the world have what they have and it looked to them that the other nations of the world don't have to keep on praying and begging God and relying on miracles for that to happen for sustenance when they were looking at the other nations of the world it seemed like look why can't we just have things the way they have it that it's kind of always there and they don't have to beg for it and pray for it all the time where we felt in the desert that even though things were being provided for us now we're in transition mode we're about to go into Israel and we have to start praying for things to happen this is the transition from everything's taken care of it's all beyond date you know nature it's all miraculous and now we're going to the land of Israel what do we have to cry for it all the time why do we have to ask for it why can't it just be there and it's normal and it's not miraculous it's just there like it looks like our neighbors have that was one of the problems what does God do the second that they start to doubt the way that things are taking care of them he shows them look what really could be happening to you at any given second you're going through the desert you're surrounded by deathly serpents you just don't realize that you're being saved and protected every single second so what I'm gonna do right now is remove God is saying I'm gonna remove right now this this wonder is shield that you're being surrounded with and look what will happen any given second and they come and bite right away that was such a beautiful lesson it's like we think like oh it's only because of my prayers that the man has happened is like no no you're being protected you're being guided all the time no matter what just know that Wow so you just don't realize it which really brings me back to that that kid that fourteen-year-old kid that would walk down the street and pretend for going to the consciousness of realizing it could be right now because people are crazy people drive that I could be hit by a car right now but I'm choosing to believe that the fact that I'm walking down the street and God you gave me a good cup a good mind to make a choice of walking a bit more carefully then I'm being I'm being saved at every given second pull on one hand you know the Jewish people that were in the desert so everything is being provided for them and they're looking at the other nations you said that doesn't like they just have them now things are just happening there is just working so it's like they just want like just a cottage bar who like let me be a little bit more independent it's like I don't need all of this like around me all of the time and then items like oh you want independence oh here you go this is what you got there like it's interesting like each time it's like sometimes you can read the tour and be like Hashem is punishing the Jewish people here and punishing the Jewish people there but it's like almost every time it's like they just get what they want okay like oh we don't want to go into the Land of Israel the sin of the spies were crying because the land is so scary oh you don't want to go into the Land of Israel okay so now you'll die in the desert correct oh you don't want me to be around you you'd want me to surround you okay I'll remove my presence and snakes will come correct it's just unbelievable yeah and I guess the question like for us and for me and my life right now I feel like if I don't have a cottage bar who every step of this way I am NOT going to make it I like it yeah I want today I will make it I just want some I I would like some more clouds around me the man ever have it I would like rock and roll with that boy Thomas relic certain level we've been here for 70 years now like we're surrounded by people that want to slaughter us every second like not just surrounded like other countries even within the country right like you know right now we're broadcasting Q from the hills of Judea and that from the northern part of the town of Efrat approximately how far is it are we here from the refugee camp donation yeah minutes literally minutes friends right there's a cloud yeah what's so special you know people come out to our farm and it's like in the mountains and it's also 10 minutes from Efrat we're not that far away and I just you know it's which should be perceived as one of the most dangerous places in the world and the West Bank the blah blah blah but then when people come out there it's like there's more serenity and there's more peace of mind and there's more calm and there's more quiet than in Manhattan or in LA and there's something about arity show that I just know the way they walk off the plane you know like a Ruach comes over them like wow I've made it home there's just a piece here that it's almost like the clouds of glory can a little bit be sensed almost anywhere in Eretz Israel and it sort of takes sometimes people from outside of Aaron C shell to come and hear them talk about it be like oh yeah he's right that's what we had friends with us yesterday yeah visiting from LA that said exactly that and another friend that came to this show just a few day so they're also from LA David sacks and as soon as that link is up I would love to share the talk
