The Shuk has a brand-new location right in front of the gorgeous Matel Leah Halls at 400 Oak Street

What's going on this year? Everybody's asking where is the lake with shook this year. The blue I am. First of all, I look forward to this season. It's exciting. It's a matziff. It's a real feeling of yumptive. The shook is relocating this year. You know, we had to share blue claws. Someone else booked it for an RV show. We have We're open community here. We make sure everyone has a spot. >> Come on. I thought you have a contract for the next 10 years. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know how it is. You know how it is. is once in a while issues happen. But we relocated to a place that we thought was very befitting of fri. You were actually the first one to post this. We're at the Shrone family hall. Remember the hall you posted for $13,000 a whole wedding. You should know I was just by here that someone made it beautiful. For $13,000 such a special concept and it's so befitting for the shook to be at such a location cuz the shook is also for the community and to give that yumpt of aura and experience to everyone. This year frame it's going to be over 15,000 square ft to zuk. >> Really? >> It's over 255 micro. >> Wow. >> Isn't that crazy >> guys? First of all, check out this this this missile buses. A lot a lot of schools. >> So AI, what's doing with the parking? What's doing with the the sh >> I'll tell you exactly what's happening. Barak Hashem is over 10,000 customers that come to the shook. This is the original shook that used to be a BMG relocated here. And what we did was is this year we relocated to a place where we felt that's more centrally located like we're near Oak Vine. We're near Lakewood Commons. People could walk here, you can send the kids blue is a little hard. We're going to go back but for this year that we felt this is the best route. So we're actually Barak is working out where the schools in the surrounding area are closed. Lakewood Police Department, Mayor Likenstein, the township has worked really hard. It's interesting. They treat this with a level of love that I haven't seen uh at many events in Lakewood and they're working really hard to make sure that the streets going to be one way. There shouldn't be traffic, crossing guards. You could park at the other schools that are closed. We have over 2,000 parking spaces. We do expect to fill them up. So, everyone should be as patient as they can. and we need desa but together with the lake police department the township and everyone else it's going to be a smooth process now avi people want to know the history I know that that the lakewood shook is going back the BMG shook is going back years >> so the lakewood shook started in in a very few people remember this I don't know how many people that watch your videos are old lakeers but the lakewood shook started basically lakewood had no dam is no such a thing >> how long ago >> I would say over 30 years ago Okay. So anyone who knows in the Yashan in BMG there was foam booths in the basement and a few people used to sell there and then as Lakewood outgrew itself it grew and grew and grew into the huge tent uh sorry huge suka outside >> where by BMG >> by BMG >> by forest. >> Yeah. This year, it's going to have to be over here. It's been run by the beautiful new Malaya Halls. And we're looking forward. heard we have a groups of Rabonim of Rabonim that we pay thousands of dollars to that come here and I think the message I like to give everyone is that it's so important we have people coming from Cherry Hill coming from Rivendale coming from all over they all walk out feeling special feeling connected feeling that excitement for Yamiff and Barak I don't do this for I do this for fun >> and this is because I love seeing everyone get together and have a beautiful experience wait one more thing >> people think the shook has low quality I just want to say something. Every year that there was a shortage. They don't have enough. This year that's not the issue. We have a flooded amount of beautiful and the shook is going to have thousands of those. >> Beautiful stuff. >> Beautiful price. >> Yes. For great pricing. So everyone's got to come with the kids, the adults, have a good time. Sickest decorations, all that type of stuff. >> A when is the when is the when is the opening? >> Mashem with a help. This year is a very short year. Everyone knows the timing. It's confused. I don't know if today's Thursday, Monday, Friday. All I know is every day of the week for the last two weeks, I'm buying kalas and fish. >> Kalas and fish. I mean, get filter fish out of my nose. But I can tell you one thing. We're starting Matsium Kipper this year. Usually we're not open matium kipper. We're going to be open matsum kipper Friday mat shabis. And we're actually going to be open till extremely late this year because I believe it's not fair. Usually at the other other shook we close we have to close a little earlier. We're going to try to be open till anywhere between 4:00 or 4:30 and Hashem give people time to experience the the the shook experience. One more thing I want to mention. I know it's a long video, but I want to mention that this year we're having a whole section specifically a separate tent for every 20 minutes there's going to be a mammar. So you don't need to go anywhere else. And we're also having a area with suka decorations, heaters, uh uh um flooring. Yeah. all the mean not just trucks and sickers and and discounts on all that stuff. So has to come not just I don't want to see people just for the experience lighting and it's going to be it's going to be a vibe.
