[Music] [Applause] so a few days ago we celebrated thees of the month of deuz and as we do every month we learn a little bit about the character traits and the power and a little bit more of a deeper meaning of the actual month and uh this month is called tamuz and it's a very very unique month first of all we know it says in the Zohar that there are three months in the year that the is very vulnerable meaning that there's not much of a protection so to say going on and these three months are tamuz a and Tet if you remember init we mentioned that too and next month after tamuz comes these are the three months that the the protection so to say is a little bit concealed the is more hidden in these three months now what does it really mean it means that we are more exposed to Danger so to say it's almost like when something is not covered then it's more exposed you go into the Sun and you don't put sunscreen you're more exposed to the dangers of the sun same thing here in these three months then the so to say the feminine aspect of the Divine is hidden and we have much less protection which you can see by history that in the month of tamuz and we also always have all sorts of disasters so we want to look at the positive side and not the negative side because this if is a very extreme negative then must be also a very extreme positive that's usually how it works so one can look at these months as a very negative time but one can also look at these months what's on the positive side can be achieved the same way that we had disasters in this month for example the 17 of certain things like traveling or take on yourself big decisions signing contracts and so forth but in regards to the spiritual work one can do it's a very powerful that can be achieved now the sign of the month is San is cancer which is a month that the element of it is water and the water the source of water comes from the SPH of Bina which comes in in an abundance but also the negative part of it is it's a very sensitive and very emotional month and too much of water can be very destructive and the element of water it's represents the growth of too much pleasures and when a person has a very strong Parts in them from the element of water that person will be very into physical Pleasures usually how it works is that we are all built from these four elements but we're always going to have one element that is dominating one element that is least uh do Le power in it and then two elements that are equal so a person that has a lot of fire in him then the person will have a problem with anger problems with with hate jealousy all these negative character traits on the positive side a lot of excitement which the excitement can be something positive but people who have a dominating element of water their their entire being is going to be evolved around around Pleasures you see sometimes people they veryy into their physical Pleasures they go twice a week to wine tasting and they like dining and they like constantly getting these little pleasures which is sometimes it's okay but in a lot of cases it's not okay so this month the sign has the element of water so it's the dangerous part of it that one can fall into a lot of Temptations into too much pleasure now in the book of formation in seph it's talking about that the the the planet the planet of the moon was you're not allowed to look at and certain things something that is not modest but if I want to take it to a more deeper level most people Unfortunately they have a very bad character trait that is called jealousy that you look at something that belongs to somebody else and you start having these feelings of why don't I have that why they have it and not me how come they they he she is able to do it and not me and it develops a lot of jealousy so talk about judging give an example of judging judging is that you can look at somebody and they behave in a certain way and you judge and say look how they're behaving disgusting but you don't really know what's going on maybe the person is going through a very bad periods and and then they you caught them on the last moment and they just said something and you one can judge them very very wrong and our sages say don't judge a person before you find yourself in their position it's very easy to judge a person so the vision is one of the most sensitive senses that we have in our in our in our system it's called the and this in this month the this sense is very very empowered very interestingly also the tribe of the month is the tribe of sickness brought you to the doctor to get a good job so you can look at everything negative and you can look at everything positive so the point is that we have to look at things without staring this is the the point is that we constantly have things in front of us and almost anything that I would look at will affect me and in most cases it will affect me me negative if I'm going to look at my bank account it's going to affect me negative it's going to put me in in not in a good mood if I'm going to look almost in anything that it's in my life it's going to affect me in a negative way because I'm looking at a very external way and a very external part if I look at my mail it's it's pretty negative when I open the mail there bills and all sorts of other things that I don't want to hear so that's when I focus on the external part if I focus on the internal part in most cases it's not going to affect me in a negative way now we learn something very interesting that when they whole day so I'm not in a mood I'm I'm I'm grouchy so I go to work I start screaming at my co-workers I start screaming at my wife I start screaming at my kids on the street I'll start blowing the horn why cuz somebody gave me some bad news in the morning that I should have isolated and put it aside okay that's what it is why am I letting it affect me now I can't sleep I can't eat sometimes somebody does something to you a whole week you don't sleep why are you letting that thing affect your sleep that should be isolated and said okay I I'll deal with this negative thing but why should it affect me and 99% people the something negative in their life affects them this is the exact manifestation of the spiritual disease of cancer that I'm taking healthy cells and I'm allowing bad cells to infect them so in this word cancer San we can learn something very very interesting a movie in Hebrew is called seret which it's a very similar to the word San just without the noon and S it is a movie in our generation there's a common term that especially in Israel of the people that they live in some fantasy in Hebrew they say he lives in a movie and most people they live in a movie agreements don't do big things because if you're not directing the energy to the right place it will end up as a disaster the positive part of it that it's such a powerful Mar that if you know how to direct the energy into the positive side it's a MCH that you can achieve triple than when you were able to achieve any other MCH it actually is a very potential very powerful month a I got double power from the planet that is controlling the month which is the moon this is two like I told you there are two months that are controlled by one planet and and they're not splitting the power with another month so this is a very very powerful month most people look at it as a negative month but the the main thing that I want to carry out in this month that I want you to leave with this in this power to take from that because I can tap into this Source this sense the power of the month that I S to say charge my senses for the rest of the year every month if I tap into the energy it's almost like charging my batteries before I go on a trip I charge my battery I know I'm going to now the phone the battery phone is going to last me the whole trip the battery of the camera or whatever it is so every month I'm charging one aspect one compartment in my spiritual battery and in the month of Tam is is the battery that I'm charging is the ability to look at something and to to remove the negative and to see the positive most people they see the negative right away the negative is what's empowered it's the positive that is concealed and Hashem says listen everything that I'm going to give you is going to be covered with a negative wrap Hashem doesn't give a a nice wrappings it gives beautiful presents but hasem is horrible in wrapping them he has a he has a reason for that it's minute go into a a candy store all the candies are colorful and sparkly but it's junk it's inside is just sugar and food coloring and chemicals going to a health food store it's all brown it's all brown and gray and like there's no colors and like that it doesn't look so exciting but because it's AIT because it's truth and the truth is not covered with a lie what I want to take from this month is to understand that this world is covered with a lie the zor calls this world Alik the world of deception the world of lie that everything is covered with a lie now it's in my power to look at something now how am I looking at it am I looking at it in a very external way or am I looking in a very internal way in a very sensitive way if I'm going to look at it in a very external way I'm going to judge it completely wrong most likely I'm going to fail in my judgment most likely it will affect me in a negative way if I look at something and I judge it very positively then I will be able to derive the truth out of it which in most cases it will benefit me to a much positive way and it all boils down in how I see things I can see the good in every person I can see the good in every situation and the result will be that I will be carrying this positive energy with me constantly when I judge something the wrong way what I do is I impa the negativity in it now the teachings of explains based on the teachings of the B why is it so bad to say why is it such a bad Sin I'm actually saying the truth you should give me credit for not lying the B explains that when I say yes I am saying the truth but I'm empowering that power in that person so if I say on a person he's such a thief then I'm giving power to the attribute to the to the concept of that person being a thief I'm empowering it in him if I say that person is a liar then I take this character trait of lying in him and I'm pumping it I'm making it stronger that's why it's good to take it to the complete opposite eyesight I can look at something and judge it completely negative what I do is I'm taking this negative energy and I'm placing it on the people that I'm judging I'm empowering this negativity in this person by judging the person by saying look at that person how they treats his wife so disgusting look at that person how cheap he is that person came to ask for charity and he went like that by me judging the person in such a negative way I'm actually taking this this wrap of negativity and putting it on that person so by even looking at something in a negative way a it's hurting me because I take this negativity into me but I'm also taking this power and putting it on somebody else that's why the right way is to constantly judge a person favorably and you will see that 99% of the time when you judge some somebody negatively you'll find out that you wrong because the person didn't mean to or it didn't seem like it or whatever it is so we want to take from this month not to look at the negative part of the month many people are like no this month is very negative don't do this don't do that I'm leaving again on a tour in a week and in two weeks and a half and it falls in the 3 weeks in the beginning I was like you know what I don't want to travel on the 3 weeks but I was like you know what no there's nothing negative here it's a powerful month it's a it's a month that if I would look at it it as a negative month then it will be negative but if I look at it as a powerful month of making changes and taking things to a completely positive side I can actually achieve much better in this month now the decision to go on the trip is not because I want to make things negative because that's the only time that I can fly but this is a perfect example of saying yes I can look at it NE as something negative and say no I can look it as positive is I can look at it as a very negative Way NE negative day that the walls of Y were destroyed but I can say no before that mosu came down from the mountain with the tablet it's a very positive day I actually want to turn the sadness into SIM into happiness I can take any situation and derive the positive out of it and see no this is positive so the point that I want to make emphasize in this month is the power of seeing and it's in my ability in my power power how am I looking at something and I have the power of changing the reality I can look at something and be very negative you know when I was stuck on the highway last week and the person that was helping me throughout the trip I called him because he had you know access to phone numbers and everything and and he was telling me you sound so calm and I was like why why why would I be anything but calm what is it going to help me if I'm starting to freak out on the on the highway and he was like wow I mean I would lose it I would be losing it in a foreign country on a highway Rush Hour nobody's stopping and I was like no I can look at it as a very negative thing and what will be I will start getting uptight I will start getting nervous I will start being afraid and and and and what good would it be I can look at it no Hashem put me here he stops me there's a reason for that and I can look at it in a completely positive thing and and it's very easy to look at something in a negative way anything that happens to in your life right away you can wrap it with something very negative but that's by looking at it in a very external way of looking at something you can dissect something and look at just one two three steps more deeper and say must be something positive here because nothing bad comes from hasem there's no such a thing there's no such a thing that hm does something negative a few years ago one of my kids one of my boys he when he was a little boy he was 2 years old he was very not clumsy but I don't know the word for it but he clumsy okay he continues to fall and yeah his legs were a little bit crooked so he didn't walk so well and one time he fell down the stairs and I'm sitting and I'm just seeing the scene falling and and and it was a common thing he always used to fall and at some point used to get to me like stop falling already like like all the time you're falling anyways he fell down the stairs so I run to him and he's crying and I'm holding him and the first thing that I do I I start touching let's see if this everything is in is there and I started touching his head to see ifom something happened and as I'm touching his head I feel a little bump in the back of the head right over here and he had a tick stuck in his head a tick probably played in the garden and a tick went onto him and this is very dangerous you know the ticks in New York they have lime disease on the entire Eastern Seaboard the ticks are dangerous there because unfortunately the American government they did some experiment to some type of a uh medication or an anti- drug and it's spread out and the entire Eastern Seaboard they have this lime disease the lime disease is not coming from Animals by the way it's coming from a bad experiment that the American government did and the Animals just carry it but I don't know don't know all the details but that's not the point the point is that the the ticks in New York are dangerous we have a friend that we know she has lyme disease and she has she can't cure it so anyways long story short we find a tick in his head and I would never find it even if you shampu the head because it was really really in the back over here long story short we were able to see that there a we took him to the doctor the doctor took it took it out burnt the area AB today look at ysep he has a a bold part in the back look look at his head our ysf long story short I was like look at that it seemed like something very negative if he wouldn't fall and I would not touch his head that tick would be there for days or weeks andom look how something bad could could have developed it was probably couple hours he came back from the kindergarten and and the tick was on him isn't that big you yeah yeah it was a it was uh probably 4 mm 4 5 mm I mean ticks can go to become very big it was like a little pimple that if I would not do that if I he if he would not fall I will never do that you would shampoo the head and and he was 2 years old he had long hair so you don't really feel it literally Hashem pushed him down the stairs so I can feel the tick in front of me so it just comes to show you that sometimes yeah it was a very negative thing seeing a 2-year-old falling down the stairs if my wife would see that she would faint on the spot but you see how hasem is so kind so pushes you sometimes instead of you saying wait a minute let me see if I have a tick if I have something negative something I right away I whine why' you push me why you why are you doing something so negative there's no such a thing as a negative thing Hashem does just orchestras things in a way that he wants you to open your eyes and you open your eyes spiritually and this is what we want to concentrate on this month is the power of how am I judging everything that hasm puts in front of me the right way not judging it completely wrong and needless to say that one should take into consideration that my life I have to be realistic I can't live in this movie that most people really live in a movie that's that's that's that things are going to happen just because they're going to happen one needs to see things and this is totally connected to the vision because I have to see how a situation is evolving and to know to judge you the right way and how to apply the right decisions to make sure that this thing Evol evolves into a positive way so we should have a very positive month with a very positive outcome it's a very powerful month it's a month to really make a de a strong decision and to pursue it it's a month that's anything that I will put my mind in a very positive way can be achieved of course anything but it's all in the vision because even you saying you can look at somebody that Shalom is sick and be like oh my gosh it's a tragedy and I need to find a different doctor and where am I going to get raise money for this and you can look at something where look at it in a positive way and sometimes just the thought and the intention and saying no he will be healed that person has nothing's wrong it will be healed everything will be good this is also judging the situation when I was flat on my back for 5 days I told you I had 50 advisers every adviser told me something else put your feet up put your feet down raise your hands like this lie like that don't do this don't do that put cold water hot water warm water luk warm water don't need I had a lot of advisors and all the advisers were telling me the same thing don't go to London this is a sign from Hashem not to cancel your trip and I was like no that is deriving something very negative from the situation why should I that should not be this what should stop me so if I would sit in bed the whole week and be like Oh I'm in bed and I can't move and I'm in pain and I can't I can't even study I can't even enjoy the rest everybody told me no hem wants you to rest I said if Hashem wanted me to rest he would send me to Tahiti and sit on a a on a deure in the beach not flat on my back with pain that's not a vacation so I I didn't buy the the the version of hasem wants you to rest has wanted me to rest he would add three hours to the day I would have more 3 hours to sleep so Hashem that wasn't his intention Hashem wanted me to appreciate the fact that I My Body Works that I can think for 5 days and say wow I'm not appreciative enough and I know thank Hashem often for the fact that my hands can move and I can move so the point is that it's all about how you look at things my not that I'm different or special the entire five days that I was flat on my back I looked at it it was positive okay there's nothing bad come out from here and that's the the that's the attitude everybody has to have is looking at things in a very internal way in a deep way not in the external part of it looking at in in everything is in in an internal part in a very sensitive and spiritual way and if I acquire that and if I'm able to apply that then my life is going to look completely different how I'm going to see things are going to be completely completely different I'm not going to be upset at people I'm not going to be angry at situations I'm not going to see the negative and everything I'm going to see the positive and when I see the positive I empower the positive so I actually change the situation completely if I empower the negative then of course it's going to be negative and then I go into this movie this is this whole concept I'm living in a movie oh he W says look at the negative look at the positive you will empower the positive so this is the month where I can actually Empower it this is the month that I can actually utilize it and not only that to carry carry it with me to the till for the rest of the year and that's why our sages say these days very soon Mas come are going to transform from morning days into celebration May the days of mour will become a celebration so why should I wait till mashiah comes he might not come today shalom shalom maybe he might not even come tomorrow I don't know what's stalling him maybe maybe must be a good reason but the point is why should I wait for for mashia to come for everything to be positive I can already think already now everything's positive and you know if I think negative because I'm still an exile I'm going to still continue being an exile so B we should have a beautiful beautiful month beautiful successful prosperous month with a lot of success and to know that anything NE negative can be transformed into positive and this is a very asici time to transform negative things into the positive cuz I do have that power and I have the power from the from the Moon the the moon signifies what's called H rebirth renew it the moon renews itself constantly so every situation I can look at it how it's diminishing and becoming darker and I can look at the positive part how it's growing and growing becoming bigger that's the the vision that I have to have this month that's what I have to
