The Rambam—His Life, Works, and Enduring Influence

so story I heard from a Luca who had a Hebrew school she did a unit and Rambam she figured this is something that every Jewish boy and girl should know so she did a whole unit on the life of the Rambam and the accomplishments of the Rambam and she got these kids their Hebrew school kids not from such observant homes and she got them very very excited about Rambam so one of the mothers came at pickup time and this eight-year-old girl comes running toward her mother and with great excitement she says mommy mommy we learned about the greatest wisest most special rabbi and the mothers just listening and the girl says Rambam and the mother hasn't heard these words so she kind of smiles but doesn't even know what the you know what did those sound was Rambam me so the shloka looks to the mother and says Maimonides the little eight-year-old girl says Maura he's not just your mana tease he's all of our monasteries so she understood Rambam is all of our mana DS whatever Amana DS is at
