When we enter the month of we increase
our joy. What greater joy is there than
helping the needy, the downtrodden and
the poor in our community. We are
talking about our annual campaign of
giving gifts to the poor on day. Over
the year, the last few years, Barashem,
thanks to all of you, we were able to
give out half a million dollars each
year. The last few years, this money
went directly to the ANIM of our
community without any overhead. For the
last week or so, my phone has not
stopped ringing from people in our
community asking if they could get on
the list for pudding. With inflation the
way it is today, people are struggling.
Those people that were able to live
hand-to-mouth are now going into heavy
debt because of the situation out there.
We we ask each and every one of you to
dig deep into your pockets and to do
what you can for
tells us that one has to spend more
money on
than
your combined. Combined. Yes, there is
no greater mitzvah than making the poor
happy. There are many that are depending
on us. They have to carry themselves
through P. They have to carry themselves
through the stomach wondering wondering
where they're going to get money for day
camps, for their children, for camps,
and everything else that goes with it.
We will reach our goal. We'll be able to
help all these people through your
efforts and donations.
Everybody should be
Amen.
