Most couples make this mistake when they're trying to work on their marriage. They try to fix communication as the starting point. Most likely, just working on communication won't actually fix your marriage. Communication is the result of a good marriage. It's not necessarily what creates a good marriage. Trying to work on communication to fix your marriage is like saying, "I have to build a house. let me go to Home Depot without without even knowing what that house looks like. Envision what your marriage would look like if you had good communication. You'd probably feel more connected. You'd probably feel more love, more trust, more respect. Work on those.
