The Military Experts Can't Explain Israel - Rabbi Lazer Brody

Amuna [music and singing] my lord it's [music] from you my lord it's [music] all [singing] good my lord oh [music] lord we're learning tonight about divine direction and war and hostility and sh's loving grace the lesson is entitled defying the odds the Jewish people's turbulent history. It's one continuous story of divine direction and it transcends all logic, military and otherwise. And it's beyond nature to the extent that the greatest experts in military in military history and strategy. They understand everything but Jewish history. I personally spoke to one of the analysts in London Strategic Institute and this is exactly what he told me. He says, "We got to understand we can predict almost any war in the world. Anything going on, we have no idea what's going in Israel. It already turns things turn around. When they should win, they don't. When they don't win, they do. They have nothing to do because it's all above nature." And this is something we knew. But uh these are the the analysts, the nations, the world, they understand this is something we all need to understand that we are above nature. We're connected to a muna and amuna is above nature. So, Hashem's personal divine direction defies logic. what goes on what's a a law in another part of the world or say this person is supposed to win this person is supposed to lose it doesn't apply at all to us in the land of Israel so our holidays and our celebrations of Hashem's miraculous divine direction uh that's what they are the holidays everyone is a a celebration of Hashem's divine direction and on Pesak we commemorate the miracles that led to Exodus from Egypt and on Khadaka the uncanny mira miraculous defeat of the Greeks against all odds and pormium commemorates our salvation from anna from annihilation at the hands of the wicked Hmon and the Persians was no chance of coming out of that alive that's no chance below the stars below nature below logic but above nature everything is possible so we're going to fast forward from ancient times let's take it into modern times something that we can more relate to fast forward to 1948 1948 is when Israel gained its independence in a war that surpasses the most vivid imagination. Now, who was fighting? What was the idea of? What was the Israeli army? It was a handful of farmers in sandals and shorts and they were augmented with Holocaust survivors and new immigrants from North Africa, neither which knew which side of the rifle you shoot from. And they faced the standing armies of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. The Egyptian army was trained by the British. So was a Jordan army. The Lebanese and the Syrians were trained by the French. They were top armies. And here you have a nation a tag raggedy tag nation with soldiers that are not soldiers and they have to stand against these enemies. Well, the history smoke cleared and history saw that Israel gave it dependence. Israel became independent. And again, fast forward another 19 years to 1967. 1967 a noose was tied around Israel's narc and all the hostile neighbors blockaded isolated her and then in six days they were defeated. Let's go fast forward another tremendous. We don't want to go into the particulars of of these these wars because it go talking about today's times spend most of our time kind of with what's happening right now. Well 1967 now we go to 1973. In 1973, Israel was still intoxicated from the pride of 1967. The nonamuna military and politicians are this the might of my right hand. Exactly what the Torah warned them not to say. And they forgot about Hashem's divine direction. They took all the credit for their own power and process, their military expertise and their bravery. Hashem let them see what their power was. So despite the Torah's warning against smuggness, they they declare just what the Torah forgives the might of my right hand has achieved this. That's is in Deuteronomy chapter 8 verse 17. So the result was that almost lost the country and I witnessed that with with my own eyes. You can see that when the they thought that was it. That's that's the end of the country. This what we called the the destruction of the third temple which was didn't even arrive yet. So, Israel suffered what happened in 1973? We suffered a surprise attack on two fronts from Syria in the north and from Egypt in the south. And uh one Israeli tank alone, one Israeli tank alone stood between the entire Syrian tank cores and Tiberious that the Syrians could have overrun all of the Golan, come into the northern Galilee, but they didn't. It's a miracle. Hashem in his mercy performed a whole set of miracles and turned the tables. Well, after the war, they interviewed a captured Syrian battalion commander and he says, "What do you mean one tank? We saw a thousand tanks on the horizon. Hashem put this this is all documented." And the same thing happened in down south in Egypt. And Hashem, this Shem's angels were hard to work. They were described as as as tanks. Well, there's no limit to the stories of miracles. We go miracle after miracle after miracle. But the uh non-emuna establishment doesn't want us to remember these miracle stories. But we do. We don't listen to them. We do. So we don't need to go into history's past and reiterate these miracles. 1967, let's see, that's 23. That's 49 years ago. 40, excuse me, 36 59 years ago. 50 from 59 years. We don't need to really write them because we've got them right now. They're going right now. But now go first before we come straight over to 2026. Let's go further from 1973 to 1991. 1991 was where the Gulf War the Gulf War. That was after he invaded Kuwait. Saddam Hussein threatened that if the Americans attacked him, he would destroy Israel. He says he's going to destroy Israel in January 15th, 1991. That was that was his ultimatum. And we know one thing about our enemies. When our enemies threaten to destroy us, they're not lying. that means they're going to try and that's why we believe every word our enemies say because they don't like. So at the time I was 41 years old uh the year before I was had retired from my combat unit. I was 40 and as a I became an IDF chaplain and I was an IDF chaplain in the reserves. Well I received an emergency call up. All the IDF chaplain received an emergency call and were taken to a base. It's in the center of Israel to familiarize with a special IDF warehouse that contain tens of thousands of body bags. Again, firsthand. I saw this with my own eyes. And what happened to all the chaplain no matter what our job was as unit chaplain is that we were all in the military kadisha that we're all drafted on reserves as part of the military burial society because they think there were going to be enough chaplain for all the burials and so we saw over tens of thousands I don't know exactly how many but well over 20,000 tens of thousands of body bags ready and because Israel was facing Saddam Hussein's lethal arsenal of Scud missiles. These Scud missiles back then they were tremendous. And they now the only thing that surpassed them is the modern Iranian missiles. Tremendous. The size of fivetory buildings. So Israel was expecting many fatalities. Well, I had a short furlow the day off of base and it was Wednesday. So I made a beline to the Astoria. That's when our uh Roshi Shiva the head of the Rivo beloved Rabbi Yitz Burkowitz he would say on Wednesday afternoon uh what we call a schmoo it's something he would give a speech to to strengthen us in amuna. Well, there was right before right before I think this was that came out. I think it was the 14th of January, the day before and everybody was in super alert and super call up and Rabbi Yitzhok he the yeshiva was in an uproar. What was happening that most of the boys in the yeshiva they were from the United States was English- speakaking yeshiva back then I was already a young rabbi and I was teaching in the yeshiva and the boys were came from the United States their parents lived in the United States and the parents were all calling frantically to Israel and demanding that the boys come back to the UK to Australia to the US wherever they came from okay so without batting an eyelash Rabbi Burkowitz who's usually a gentle and smiling personality knows Rabbi Berkwitz. He's one of the biggest rabbis in the English-speaking world. And he spoke with an iron determination. Sound like all of a sudden he spoke good in a tone like George Patton, the tank commander in World War II. And he had a determination and a nononsense expression on his face. And he says, "I do not allow anyone to leave the yeshiva." He was emphatic about that. This is your battle station. You cannot you cannot leave your battle station in the middle of a war because that's a trading. If the Almighty did not gather the Jews from around the world in order to bring them to Israel and slaughter them Israel, I guarantee you that not a single hair from ahead in this Yeshiva will fall. This is Jerusalem. I got chills. So, who could make such a promise? Saddam Hussein has all the missile batteries aimed at Israel. And what one did, we finally one hit the American army in Saudi Arabia. Lovely. And one missile killed 25 American soldiers and wounded 250. One missile. And who says, "How in the world can Rabbi Burkowitz make such a pro a pro promise?" Well, 1991, Israel didn't have Iron Dome. They didn't have defense against the Russian designed Scuds that could carry warheads of over 500 lb while surpassing a range of 600 miles. That was enough to reach from Western Iraq to reach Israel's populated centers. Well, Rabbi Burkowitz's lofty level of spiritual awareness and his unswerving amuna and divine direction which he gave over to us and enabled us to see what other people could enabled him to see what other people could. The next day the war broke out. Right. Next day was a January 15th where America attacked Iraq and events defied nature and they validated every word that Rab Burkwood said. On the night of January 17th, two nights later, 1991, there was a massive air raid. Joint US and Allied areas. I would say US and allies. It was French and Britain. They wouldn't let Israel wouldn't enter the war. They wouldn't allowed to to join the war. And this what Hashem's saying. Listen guys, you're not going to say anymore the might of my right hand. You're going to sit back and do nothing. And what do we do? We put plastic tape on our like cellot tape on our windows. as protection against what we thought were going to be gas and chemical warfare. And that's all we did. This was our effort. Put plastic tape and don't do anything else. So in response to the American attack, Iraq fired 39 Scud missiles into Israel. So during the next four weeks, 39 Scud missiles pounded Israel at 19 different missile attacks and they mostly hit Metropolitan Tel Aviv and Hifa. Now, one missile, listen to this, hit a densely populated high-rise apartment building. If you ever been to Israel, right next to Ramadan, there's these two skyscrapers, which is the Diamond Center. The Diamond Center, there's high-rise residential area and one completely totaled. I think it's a 20story high-rise. Well, how many flats? Maybe six six apartments. What we call flats in in Israel, like in Britain, six flats in the floor. 120 apartments. And it's a one ina zillion scenario that all the residents just happen to be away. This one's visiting his mother-in-law. This one's visiting a birthday of a ne nephew in a kibbutz. And this one here. How could you take the 120 families and nobody be home? I think that's if you do that mathematically, it's 10 to the 120th power because one 10 it mindboggling. Mindboggling. One in a in a quadrillion. Nobody was hurt. Well, the same week in February 1991, that missile that I just described, it hit the American base in Dhran, Saudi Arabia, and it killed not 25, 27 personnel and wounded 98. So, the entire Israel casualties that resulted from all 39 Scud missiles, by the way, 39 is the number of lashes that a criminal in the Torah receives. a criminal that transgrates a willfully transgrates Torah, he gets 39 lashes and that's his atonement. And this was like Hashem was giving Israel 39 lashes. 39 missiles. So 39 missiles. The entire was one civilian death. Who was that civilian death? Was a guy in the outskirts of Tel Aviv in a place called uh Yehood that he was building his house on Shabbat. And the neighbors, they weren't religious, but they told him, "Hey, listen. We don't want the bulldozers." and the jackham cameras and all go on Shabbat ruins our debt. No, no, I've got my rights on my property. I do what I want. Let's own property. Do what he want. Build his house on Shabbat. Missile had a direct hit on the house where he was there and he got killed his little doggy a rafter knocked down a rafter protected the dog. They found the dog was still alive, but the but the owner he was he was finished. the only casualty, the only fatality in the entire Gulf War and but there was an outcome that some people there there were four heart attacks but people came through it and we all had we had to come and to civil defense and we all had these biological warfare because we all gas mask they were expecting a chemical warfare and biological warfare and there was plenty of property damage and 13300 houses were destroyed and 6,000 apartments were destroyed, 23 public buildings, 200 shops and 50 cars totaled and no no fatalities except for this one guy who was building his house. So ended up with all these empty body bags and the army rabinet warehouse remained unused against all odds and that's the hand of divine direction. I'm going to go fast forward 15 years to the second Lebanon war. Tell a story about the Khan. It was an Israel patrol boat. This Israel had a patrol boat we call a missile boat called the Khanit Hani T. And it was tugged into Ashport after it was hit by a Hezbollah missile off the Beirut shore on July 14th, 2006. Well, a year later, I was on the northbound train from Ashto de Hifa and I was on the way to giving a lecture in Hifa and a young Israeli naval sergeant, he sat down on the train and he was returning to the base in Hifa port after being home on furlow and he sat down across from me and he looked at me intently while I was learning my gamora and I looked up and I said, "Uh, shim soldier, how are you?" And he sighed deeply and he said she was like really embarrassed. He said you rabbi laser bro I'm guilty. He says what can I talk to you? I said of course go right ahead. So he asked me I didn't know who but he said he recognized me. said he heard me eulogize one of his fallen friends during the recent war in the beginning of the war, second Lebanon war 2006 at a funeral of a soldier that got killed and the sailor happened to be there was one of his friends. So he recognized me from there and the sailor had a relatively new beard and almost brand new keeper with a crease still in it on his head and he the pure beautiful innocence of a brand new Baltuva a brand new awakened youth. This is this is silly because he was a recently he was fresh fresh into the program. Well, to make a long story short, he was a crewman on board the Khan when it was hit by a missile on the shore outside of Beirut. Well, the sailor, let's call him Moshe. He began to relate the dozens of miracles that happened aboard the night that that that was hit. And he told me it was Friday night. It was at the Shabbat. And usually the crew would eat Friday night dinner in two shifts. By this time, we're in a war zone. And we had three religious crewmen. And they went to Lieutenant Colonel Aram, Lieutenant Colonel, he was the skipper, and they begged that we all need Hashem's help. He says, "The first miracle is that the skipper, he agreed to leave only four soldiers on the bridge and allowed the whole entire crew, religious, non-religious, they would go pray together." And they piled into the tiny chapel that they have there on the ship, the little makeshift chapel. And they said a lengthy ma much longer than sailors usually say it and a kabal shabbat a kalibah kabal shabbat and singing and fervent prayer. So mo I was bored and I wanted to eat quickly and then catch a few hours sleep because he had I had my my watch and my watch I wasn't particularly interested in praying when I get did eat quick and grab a couple eyes a couple hours of shutye before I go on watch cuz I had the midnight watch. She's telling me had the midwhite lunch on Friday night, but I stayed together with the rest of the crew and we all had a Shabbat meal together and 15 different sailors said kittish even though a lot of a lot of the sailors that they come from tri houses the traditional houses they're not necessarily religious per se but this is most of the country most of the country have a the traditional feeling. So these soldiers and again but going into combat they're heading for the shore of Beirut and this a missile boat. Who knows what they're going to do. So they they said Shabbat like they they said kdish on Shabbat like their parents do at home. And each of the custom and his father says Ashkenadi kdish and the Moroccan kdish and the emite kdish. Each in the c custom of the family. So we're talking about guys sailors that aren't even religious. And Mosha explained he says the meal was drawn out and I had a headache and I was dying to sleep and the religious guys then the me came along. They said no don't leave the table to have to say grace after meal and I'm shiting my seat. I want oh I just want to catch a couple hours of sleep maybe I've got left an hour and three/arters to sleep before I go on a midnight watch. Okay. And in the right as they finished Birkat Mazone poof the whole the whole missile boat it was just jolted Hezbollah missile hit the Khan but was on the opposite end of the craft from the dining room and it should have sunk the boat but it hit a crane. There was a crane right above the chopper lifting pad on that side that on the stern part of the boat. They have a a landing pad for helicopters. And it was a miracle because that wasn't enough. The helicopter refueling tank was filled to the gills with helicopter fuel and it didn't explode. The fact that the whole edge of the boat was burned, but the fuel didn't catch fire. So the four crewmen who man the bridge at the time, they were all killed. They were killed on the spot. But 20 other crewmen above the khan, they all should also have been killed, but they were saved by Shabbat dinner on the other end of the ship. So Moshe had beads of sweat on his forehead. He was he had tears in his eyes and beads of sweat. He's telling the story he's had tears glistening in his eyes and he says, "Rabbi, the newspapers don't even write about the miracles and the divine direction that we all saw with our own eyes." I ran to my bunk and on the deck below the it was my deck my bunk was in the deck below the landing pad and it was charcoal nothing completely burnt out and my metal bunk was melted down all my possessions were ashes I hadn't been obtained in the chapel I had been if I hadn't been detained in the chapel I would have been ashes too in other words if he would have gone to sleep gone into his cut right there below cut he would have been ashes also and He says, "I can't stop thanking Hashem for giving my life, and this is where I am. I'm still thanking Hashem, and I hope to thank Hashem for the rest of my life." So, Moshe continued with more miracles, including the engine room burnt to a crisp, but one of the religious soldiers. He was the chief engineer of the boat, and he was also on on duty came most of the morning, but his tollin were in the engine room. So the injured room was charcoal. The tofillin were unscathed. Opened up to fill were unscathed. And if that's not enough, amongst the embers of destruction, the soldiers found the book of Psalms that was also unscathed. And opened up to Psalm 124. And read Psalm 2124. And your hair stands up. And now he told me this. And I started crying. I opened up Psalm 21:24. Psalm 124 says like this, a psalm from a psalm of sense from David. Were Hashem not fighting for us? What would have happened? Speak up Israel. Were Shem not fighting for us when men rose up against us. Our enemies would have swallowed us in the fury against us. They would have washed us away in the deep water that drowned our souls. The waters of wrath overtook our souls. We're talking about the shore off of Beirut. Blessed is Hashem who does not let us fall to the prey to their teeth. Our rescue was in the name of the shem, not in the mighty eyes and creator of heaven and earth. Well, the train was getting near my station in Hifa. So, I gave Moshe a blessing and a fatherly embrace and we parted and the khani took a direct hit from the missile, but Moset turned the navies set back into a victory was a victory. So, uh every day this is one of the most satisfying things that happens in what I do. I meet Moshas, different Moshas all the time. And unlike the misguided and corrupt military and political leaders over here, that the average Israeli on the street, especially the soldiers and the reserves, they're all diamonds just waiting to be polished. And we have to, they asking themselves real questions in life. You can't come out of Gaza or Lebanon without asking yourself what life is all about. And that's why so many of the former captives in Gaza that uh they're in the program. They're in the Amuna program now. Their lives have completely changed. Today once showed how that he got his his tattoo erased and had to have surgery for that. You can't just can't erase it. And it's painful thing. But the whole purpose of the war this now we can see this is a divine direction. What's the whole purpose of these wars? It's to bring us closer to Hashem. Hashem wants it wants to bring Messiah. But Hashem doesn't want anyone left behind. So he brings us especially here that this is in the palace, Hashem's palace, the backyard of Amuna. And Hashem doesn't want anybody to be off the program. So what he does, we get these tribulations. They're not punishment. They're all for the best because people do not attain amuna from eating chocolate ice cream. And the whole purpose of the war, this war, the Lebanon war and everything since then, the today's Iranian war is to bring us closer to Hashem and to give us a glimpse of divine direction on a level that we can understand. And when it comes to last week, we learned about divine direction in sickness. This we did war divine direction and war. It really is. It did happened to me in 1982. This is what changed my life. And Hashem does everything for the best always. And what time sometimes looks like the worst day in our lives, it becomes the best day in our lives. So that's why we keep it. People don't understand and they strategists don't understand this. The Israeli institutes of strategy don't understand this. Oh, our enemies hate us. No, dummies. It's not that. It's Hashem wants us to learn divine direction. Shem wants us to learn amuna. And without the wars, you're just going to go and you dance in your disc and sit in the Tel Aviv coffee house and you're not going to learn a thing. So this is it. Okay. Now we're going to fast forward another eight years to protective edge 2014. You could see this when Mashiach comes. What I try to do here is to build like a migill. And the McGillis Esther, the McGill of Esther, it happened over 13 years, but we read it on Poor in 45 minutes. So here I'm taking Israel's modern history and kind of wrote for tonight's lesson rewrote it like a McGillilla. So you can see fast forward all this. It just doesn't stop when you look at it together. It's all juxtaposed. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. And [laughter] I've been several times during this day's lesson. I just had to wipe my forehead. This is too much. Well, Israel dubbed the Gaza war of 2014. this we live through this very closely because I live closer to Gaza than Edgeware in London is to Buckingham Palace. I could get fast much faster to Gaza than David can get to Buckingham Palace. Okay, so this is called Operation Protective Edge in English. Yet in Hebrew was called Suketan. Suketan is the mighty cliff. Well, without the Israeli governments or the IDF's intentions, both allude clearly to the mind-boggling divine direction that we felt here in the south of Israel. Well, that was the summer before the Schmita year, before the sbatical year of 2015. And all harvesting and plowing had to end well before Russia shut up. So, at Kibbut Sufa on the Gaza border, late winter wheat was harvested a month ahead of schedule to accommodate for the Shita laws. And meanwhile, terrorists came from Gaza and they had digged a tunnel that went under the border and came up through the wheat field and was only a quick dash from the Kibut's residential area. So on July 17th, 2014, 13 Hamas militants, they infiltrated from Gaza by way of that same tunnel and they exit in the middle of Kut for wheat field. Well, the terrorists found themselves completely exposed. They didn't realize that the wheat was going to be harvested early before the time and their natural camouflage disappeared. So here they were completely exposed. The IDF surve surveillance elite spotted them and opened up a massive barrage on them and blew them into uh the terrorist farm where terrorists go after they leave this year. We don't even want to describe that when they after they leave this world. Only Hashem knows how many lives were spared by virtue of the divine direction and that kibbutsufa's observance of the year. That's it. This one of the observ in the same war there was a uh ashod port miracle right here in Ashod. These are things firsthand. Well, Israel's red alert system. We have a red alert warning system. It's very very sophisticated. It spots the flashes of the missile fire as it leaves Gaza or as it leaves Lebanon or it leaves anywhere else and it quickly estimates where the rocket will fall. Very sophisticated. So the rocket alarm system whales in a kilometer radius of the estimated landing spot. Used to be in the beginning it was less sophisticated and the whole town of Ashod would hear that we we'd hear the the alarm. But now they had it so sophisticated only a certain neighborhood within a kilometer radius would hear it. So over the decade the system had proved itself 98% effective. So out of 100 missiles only two would get past the iron dome as was fantastic. Now at the Ashdod port, the big port here in Ashdod, two biggest sports in Israel are hyphen and Ashdod. And the long shoreman, the crane operators, they're far from the bomb shelters because they're out there unloading the ships. And so they don't have time to come down from the crane and to reach the bomb shelter. So the port authority, they built reinforced concrete igloos. We call them igloos. They're portable Johnny on the spot bomb shelters. Really thick concrete bomb shelters. And they're right there on the dock so that the workers can have easy accessibility. And usually in one area you have an igloo, an igloo for a bomb shelter for 30 long shoremen. So one morning was usual at the port and long shoremen were unloading an incoming ship from the far east. All of a sudden tremendous missile an Iranian designed B3 missile. This is also Kamas was upgrading. Uh it slammed through the roof of the igloo and completely exploded inside when no one was in the shelter because this was the only time when in the amazing divine direction that the red alarm system didn't function port no one heard the alarm because there was none. So the fact that there was no alarm if there were an alarm then a long sh would come off the cranes had all been in that igloo and boom they'd be finished. But Hashem knew where the missile was headed for. So they disengaged the alarm. The alarm didn't sound port and the guys were still up on their cranes. They were far away from the igloo and nobody got hurt. Amazing amazing miracle. And that's not it. The same the same 2014 the war. There's a gas station miracle. I'm talking about things that things that we saw right here in Ashdod. Ashdod's most popular gas station is on the north side industrial park. That's right near the port. And on Friday mornings, they give out free kalas and weekend newspapers. So customers come for fillup and people they use their cars for weekends. So usually they long line at the pumps, the jam pump, people filling up their cars and they're getting the free kala and the free newspaper. This is very popular. So the following report I'm not going to tell this in my words. This is I'm taken from Israel National News on July 11th, 2014. and the quote a rocket fell here right next to the gas station as cars were waiting for their turn to fill up. Mosha Swisa, commander of the firefighting south forces in the south stated the explosion caused a fire to break out right near the gas station. In addition to that, this is the fire the commander of the firefighters of the south of Israel, their headquarters in Ashdood. A gas tanker stopped here to refill the station and was refilled with 35,000 L of benzene. That's 30,000 35,000 lers of gasoline. Okay, they continued. The main risk factor was not the truck itself would explode, but it would be a thousand times damage from everything else exploding, all the pumps and the underground reservoirs where the the gasoline is. So, Commander Swissa, he reflected that the danger could have been extreme. And it would calculating the explosive power of all this explosive material. It's like a mega bomb that it could destroy the entire industrial park and adjacent shopping malls. They were packed that Friday morning of July 11th. Everybody busy buying for Shabbat. Last minute purchasing for Shabbat. Well, let me explain to you what this is. Take a Molotov cocktail the terrorists use to throw at cars. A Molotov cocktail is used from a half liter soda bottle filled with benzene and it's wrapped in a kerosene soaked rag and they they they ignite it and throw it at a bus when it hits the side of a bus explodes. Okay, that's a half a liter 500 milliliters of benzene. So this tanker was like 70,000 Molotov cocktails and the truck was charred from the explosion but it did not explode. The walls of the the the benzene truck char didn't explode. Thanks to Hashem, the gasoline did not ignite. Wow. When the words of the fire comm the deputy deputy fire commander Ellie Kazeri, he was also at the scene. He said this was a huge miracle. The tank did not explode. Firefighting teams managed to pull people out of the fire at the gas station. There was a fire at the gas station and everybody managed to leave their vehicles when the sirens went off. Several cars were completely burned, but there were no casualties. The firefighters managed to save the people. Really valiant firefighters here in a gas station. There's a fire in a gas station. They're pulling people out of cars. That takes courage. That takes dedication. And that takes love of your fellow human. Wow. So at the time the red alert fun sign function positively but that's what Hashem wanted in his magnificent divine direction. Now we're going to fast forward going to fast forward to less than three years ago two and a half years ago the infamous October 7th 2023. So this like hearing the the news therea with the muna news. Now we get news on Shabbat October 7th 2023. It was one of the holiest days in the Jewish Jewish calendar. Not only was Shabbat but it was in Israel. In the diaspora there are two separate days one after the other. In Israel there's only there's one less day of holidays than there is in because we don't have any doubt what's called and so there was the same day Shabbat and it's the happiest day of the year but it became a catastrophe when a kamas surprise attack caught the IDF completely offguard and many Israelis were massacred and taken captive to Gaza in one of the worst tragedies since the Holocaust. It was all with tragic events. The skeptics ask, "Well, if Hashem runs everything, then why did he let the enemies overrun the south and succeeded killing so many Israelis?" Well, they're correct about one thing. Our first principle amuna says that everything comes from Hashem. And as we prepared this lesson, uh we looked into our book, Three Words of Amuna. And three words amuna emphasizes that Hashem is the source of everything. He's also a loving father in heaven. Just Hashem let this happen because everything goes to Hashem. But who let this happen? This a loving father in heaven. What? This an act of love. How can that be? It says, "Well, October 7th, 2023 is no exception." And scratch the surface and look what's about to be planned. Yes, we lost like I think 1,200 civilians and soldiers and captives and yes, okay, but there's nine billion people in the country here and Israel, they people did not know what was going on in the meanwhile and for year I didn't want to go into that sources and and people that connections with and inside source a lot of things that were not published in the media by weren't allowed to be published in the media but on a moon hour. Okay, we're not we're not the the regular media. Moon hour will show because we're using it to show Hashem's divine direction. Iran had a master plan to destroy Israel in one day. You think that's impossible? Well, wait a second. It was a brilliant plan. And this plan was prepared by Iran's brilliant strategy minds. The Iranians are very bright people. Don't sell them short. In fact, they're brilliant people. And Hashem in his magnificent divine direction, he performed five major miracles. And we can see there's probably hundreds under the surface, but five major miracles to foil Iran's sinister scheme. And like I say, few people are aware of this. The people in intel, the people that want to want to know the truth, they know the truth. And we're going to examine them one by one right here. Okay, this is welcome to Moon Hour. Tonight's the Moon Hour is Amuna News. These five miracles will help us understand what Iran's one day sinister scheme was. Well, Israel, just like after a war like after 1967, the smuggness and overconfidence led to 1973. Then Israel was called the Conpsia, the concept that the government and the intel said, "Oh, we're stronger. Hamas is afraid of us. They won't dare to do anything. Balah is afraid of us. They would oh are they ever wrong that they're miss the obvious signs when you're smug and you think you know everything you're blind there's nothing more blind than a smug and arrogant person so they conceited commanders they harbored this misconception of Israel's invinc invincibility and they ignored the flashing red light warnings of junior commanders and foreign observation chiefs on the scene that they were yelling something's happening we see something going on behind line that what kamas is doing what they're preparing well the head of intelligence he was on vacation with his family in a lot on yont and he says if you bother me once more on vacation he said to one of these junior officers a female officer and and if she was the commander of a group of foreign observations he says if you bother me once more I'm a court marsher you're going to get thrown a brick this is reaction and here they see they see they're right there and many of them ended up these foreign observation, the dedicated soldiers, they were they were captured and they were hostage and many of them were killed. So the commanders, the intel, the government, the government was busy with with their things. They all ignored these flashing red knight warnings and with the rest of they dismissed reports of constant enemy maneuvers that they witnessed over many previous months. that today they're denying this right and left and that's why nobody wants a proper a proper commission the uh opposition in the government wants a investigation commission in order to hang the coalition the coalition is trying to void it because they know this but everybody everybody's responsible for that and long time Iran had been training the Nukba the Nukba is kamas's special forces and they've been personally training the Radwan special forces of Isbelah festival forces of they called the Radwan unit in the north and the Nukba in the south. [snorts] Well the they had a special mission they had planned they were training for the Radwan was tasked with taking over the Galilee who say take over the Galilee. Yeah, they do. Right here on the Israeli army there not going to be anybody on base and Shabbat and Torah and maybe a couple of three scrawny soldiers going to be left on the base, but everybody's at home. Everybody's on furlow and their objective was to sever the Galilee panhandle. If you look at a map of Israel, we call the northern Galilee. It's called Etba Galil. In Hebrew, we call it the Galilee finger, okay? But it's a Galilee panhandle. To sever that from the rest of the north, it's a very narrow place. And knowing that such an accomplishment would create huge panic in Israel because it would separate the kiraton and the northern kibbutim and moshim and kamas and nukba had a similar plan to occupy to overrun the negative and to sever the negative from central Israel. Take a line from Gaza on through to the dead sea at a narrow point in the negative and separate the negative. Now in that part of the severed negative you have the town of Deona and the nuclear reactor plus which a major air force base called Hatsim south of Beer Cheva and this is what they plan to take over the air force base and take over the nuclear reactor. Can you imagine if Hamas were to capture nuclear act? This was their mission and they were pled of training for this. Well, Iran's master plan. It was detailed, strategic, well planned, well thought out, well rehearsed, and they did maneuvers all year long. And the R ICG, there's the Iranian Republican Guard commanders. They the commander Hassan Salamy. Hassan Salamy uh he succeeded Hussein Sulamani when Sulamani was was assassinated by the Americans in 2020 because Sulamani had the former commander IRCG commander had a lot of American blood on his hands. So Hassan Salami was the mastermind behind this plan. He was the head and he planned this with the personal approval of supreme commander Ali Kmeni and Ali Kmeni equipped their proxies to destroy Israel in one day that had an open check kamas had an open check and even for reserves they had the Shiite militias in Iraq ready to join the fight. Okay, so the prize attacks were meant to ignite mass chaos and confusion all over Israel. Now there's an expression in Arabic when a camel falls. I tell you what that means. Okay. A folk expression says that when a camel falls everybody runs to sharpen their lives. The bedins that they eat camel flesh. They eat camel meat. They said camel's falling. Everybody sharpens their knives. We're already figed out. They're going to take part. They're already they're already par parceling out the camel. Well, Iranian intelligence had succeeded in infiltrating the Israeli Arab population. Deeply infiltrated. And they knew that simultaneous idea the simultaneous attacks on the Lebanon border and on the Gaza border would indicate that the camel was falling. And this would be on Shabbat on Shabbat afternoon. You know when people are taking their nap and people are tired from dancing all night and all morning and Shabbat food after they say what they you know you take a good rest after eating your kam on Shabbat and people are all drunk with and tired from dancing and and the army as well they're taking a schlof they're taking a a siesta in the afternoon people would be offguard this they did such intel when is the exact soft belly of Israel going to be exposed this was So now once there would be the surprise attack that they knew where they would succeed in the Galilee and they knew they would succeed the negative which they did were from Gaza and once that would happen then the Bedawins and the negative and the Arabs in Judea and Samaria as well as the Israeli Arabs in lower Galilee, lower Gi has a tremendous Arab population and the center of Israel that they would sharpen their knives too if they saw that the Jewish regime is b is falling and they have a chance to fulfill their okay they joined. Good. So they saw their Muslim brethren from Hamas and his beloved were succeeding. Then they jump on the fight. They jump on the wagon. They join the fight. So the result will be absolute chaos. And what would happen in such a scenario? Heaven forbid all across the country. There would be hand-to-hand fighting. Every person, every family would fighting for their own existence. uh kamas as it was they wore many of the kamas the nukba they had IDF uniforms were IDF uniforms that the the neg the full the bad ones have IDF uniforms and so the West Bank that in Samaria they have IDF uniforms they come in IDF and you couldn't tell your player could tell the difference between an Israeli soldier and and an Arab and people shooting and firing and stab can't imagine the chaos that would have happened here so all kinds of country. It'll be combat in the street. Nobody know who they're fighting. You can distinguish between your friend and who your enemy is and everybody fighting for their own and no national coord strategy. And this was Iran's plan. So Iran, they too were going to sharpen their knife once the the camel is falling. Once they saw that the assault in the negative succeeded as it did and the assault in the Galilee would succeed but which it did not and the Israeli Arabs were activated which they were not. They thought that in this case that then they would come in and finish off the battle, knock Israel to its knees and that's finished. But now here's the miracles. Meanwhile, they took everything advantage. Their strategy was outstanding. Their plan was outstanding. Their preparation was outstanding. Uh but they planned to mirror because they took everything advantage except one thing. Hashem. Now Hashem's miracles for them all. Hashem gives us apparent free will. But then he uses our choices to implement his will which is always for the best. So even if our choices are bad, Hashem uses our choices all for the best. Turn them around. And what am I talking about? Talking about the Nova Music Festival. Nova music festival. But religious people about the Nova music festival, they turn off their nose. This is disgusting because on Shabbat Friday night on October 6 and Shabbat October 7th which was and again one of the holiest days in the Jewish calendar a group of over a thousand young people they gathered in the park outside of Kibutim right across the Gaza border and they celebrated all night and a way that is total opposite of the sanctity of Shabbat the holiday and and Judaism. I'm not going to go into the details, but the the grimy details of what went on in that in that Nova celebration, but there was abominations there. They were all dancing in front of a statue of Buddha and the idol, the things that the the three worst sins, they all went on there. They all went on there. So, the combined kamas attack was scheduled to begin late afternoon. According to the information I have, the combined attack was supposed to begin at 4:30 in the afternoon. So when kamas's forward observers saw this fat lamb, all these unclad young people partying in the kibbut rain uh campgrounds, this Nova festival, they couldn't resist. They're partying and drinking and dancing. And here the chance to get get trapped at the their whole objective. They don't they grab an Israeli hostage and Israeli hostage is worth so many hundreds of Hamas terrorists and in Israeli jails. So they couldn't resist. What's more, they couldn't see a single IDF patrol patrolling the border. They monitored. They did. There was nobody on the border. Nobody at the border. So Hamas jumped the gun. They couldn't resist. At 6:30 a.m. they stormed the Gaza border. They came with a bulldozer, knocked down the fence, and they swarmed into Kibut in the park, which is very close to the border, and large-scale massacre and the kidnappings that we all know about, they began. Okay, so what's miracle number one? Hamas couldn't couldn't believe the the good fortune. Nobody was stopping them. And the murdering and the kidnapping and luminating all over the Gaza villages, not only Kibbut, they went out to to neighboring neighboring Kibbut. And the smell of Jewish blood, it just sidetracked them. And they went crazy. This intoxicated them. So they completely forgot the strategic mission. The Nagba forgot this. The Nukbar forgot the strategic. They were supposed to cut off Beerva and invade the military bases, overrun to get to Deona and overrun Deona and capture the nuclear reactor. Completely forgot about that. Okay. They were busy uh busy capturing girls and bikinis and they went crazy. They went crazy. So they should have captured the entire Uggat Aza the Gaza division. But similarly the same thing was happen in the north that Radwan Kak Radwan the Radwan strike force was supposed to capture the Agal that the Galilee division but neither happened. Thank you Hashem. What happened? Miracle number one was the Nova music festival itself that despite the terrible breach of holiness our loving father in heaven used this to sidetrack kamas it was a massacre but it was also catalyst to save the country and people ask me what about the casualties what about the people okay let's say if according to Jewish religion the penalty for what they did there at what went on the festival I don't even want to say but it was not a nice penalty So what did Hashem do? Rather than having them be in purgatory for the next million years, Hashem turned them into martyrs and as martyrs they go to the highest place in in Ganeden. This people look at the body they look at the nama that the soul the soul is what Hashem can't imagine the loving father in heaven. He doesn't want to punish his kids. No we get this. So the body comes back again. And the body can come back for correction, but the soul cannot. Hashem saved the soul. Same gave the soul a merit. Okay? If you don't know how to observe Shabbat, if you don't know how to dance with the Torah and Torah, then you' be a martyr. At least be a martyr and I'm going to put you in a higher place, even a higher place than the people that are dancing with the with the Torah scrolls, people in Torah. It's amazing. So this was a tragedy, but it was also the catalyst that saved the country because it foiled Kamas's plan. So what's a miracle number two and number three? Miracle number two was that Mukbah and Kamas they forgot their main mission. They got bogged down. Kamas got bogged down in kibbutim, the Nova festival and neighboring villages and they forgot where they were supposed to go and forgot what they were supposed to do because they're busy taking captives and busy transporting captives back and forth to Gaza and busy and and killing people in Kiputim Kibuteri and the neighboring kibbutim. Another miracle they didn't even mention that in the two religious kibbutim Hamas did not even enter. Two religious kibbutim wanted God's border because the gate was closed. It was Shabbat says no entrance on Shabbat. Hamas saw the gates closed and we're not messing with the locks on the gate. They continued on where the goats were wide open. So miracle number three that in the north was confused and didn't understand what's happening. Wait, the plan is to fire the starting shot at 4:30 and here at 6:30 in the morning and they say, "Uhoh." They said, "First of all, they knew about that. Hamas has wonderful intelligence and our enemies have good intelligence. They know what's going on. They thought this was an Israeli trap to lure Hamas in." Okay. To lure Hamas in. So that meanwhile, they put forces up north and figured his bal had come. And now they got an ambush waiting for his belah. Hisbah was afraid of the ambush and their plan was to to attack later simultaneous with kamas. Well, when kamas jumped the gun eight hours early that uh they were afraid. So what they do they tested the water they lobbed a few rockets over the border in the morning. It was a cosmetic support of kamas but they were disgusted with kamas's irresponsibility and the premature breach of the plan. So miracle three was that the Radwan strike force from Lebanon called off the strike on the north of Galilee and this the main onslaught from the north and it could have brought Israel to knees because there was nobody up there to defend the north. The north was was so weak people rushing to the south. That brings us to miracles four and five. Miracle number four is that Israel defenders who defended Israel, not soldiers, but a handful of civilians and policemen that they grab weapons and they rushed to the front and they held off the marauders for four critical hours until the army awoke from its slumber. And this was Israel version of the Alamo 50 times over. This one of the things that the investigation committ why was the Israel the Israeli army asleep for for for they they didn't even wake up and a helicopter base not far would have been two minutes to bring helicopter support Apache helicopters nothing nothing no air support no military support while just coming through like like walking into Disney World walking from Gaza across the border south of Israel well miracle number five is that Israel's Arabs in Judea and Samaria they remain quiet. Even the heavily armed terrorist organizations in andron and in Jaden and Karim and in Shrem, they didn't join in the war. And part of that miracle is that the Arabs within Israel's 1967 borders talking about where the big Arab populations are with Hifa and Lud and Ramla and the and the Galilee and one thing and then crime. It's crime centers because they possess tons of illegal weapons that the police don't know how to deal with. Well, they remained on the sidelines. That's another miracle. Well, cherish brothers and sisters, the miracles aren't over. Just as hostilities with Iran still continue. America attacked Iran this morning and in Israel, we're back on alert again because once America attacks attack for example, L airport, Bengorian airport, it's full of American air. A lot of flights are canceled because they've got no places, no landing slots. It's a that's full of American uh refuel aircraft and Israel they wanted to see no one about our civilian aircraft but they can't do it in the middle of a war it's the war effort. So uh the American the American air force has taken over half of Benguran airport and meanwhile we have withtood here again lived through this is first this is not Lucy and the sty diamonds this is not mother goose tales we live through two massive missile attacks from Iran where Iran fired at us intercontinental ballistic missiles these are the size of fivetory buildings they weigh 23 tons And when they landed in Israel, they destroyed whole city blocks. But again, casualties were minimal. Now, and Muhammad, the heads of Hamas and Ali Huini and Hassan Salamy, the heads of the heads of uh Iran, and Hassan Nisallah was head of his Balad Lebanon. There are many additional tyrants that sought our destruction. They have all been exterminated. They're finished. terminated like same fate as Hmon. And what do we learn from that?
