Parents, Put Phones Down Reconnect With Your Kids!

The relationship between parents and children that technology has taken away some of that life that we had [music] growing up. I was just sitting in a park this summer. I was looking in a cypher. But [music] um it happened to be there was a father who was pitching into his young child, you know, like a baseball. He's pitching in with a whiffle bat, whiffle ball. And but he in one hand he had a cell [music] phone. He had a phone. And at one point the boy the his son hit the ball it rolled all the way towards the fence. And he [music] was on a call and the boy was just sitting there waiting and the the father was on the phone. Um just, you know, waiting for whatever business he had there to finish while the son was waiting for When [music] I felt that was very sad. I was even thinking of saying something but I didn't. But that's that could be some somewhat typical >> [music] >> when you're um those years when a parent had you know, was giving attention to a child it was it was total attention. So even though it may not have been for a long [music] time but when you're giving attention to a child it was a total focus and [music] some you know, I think that has a little bit uh it's been diminished that focus [music] that we have when you're with a child everything else should be >> [music] >> you know, blacked out. This is your this is your time [music] with your child, put your phone away.
