The Living Archive - Preservation Challenge

In this video we present the preservation challenge we face at The Living Archive - mainly due to its uniqueness of being comprised of many small collections recorded mostly by non-professionals. Formats - Many, including Audio, Video and Photo, to name a few: 8mm film, 1/2" open reel, 3/4" Umatic, 1/4" audio tape, 35mm & medium format negatives, and the list goes on. Years recorded -1940's - Present
