The laws of making Kiddush by Rabbi Garfinkel for Olami's Share Shabbat

[Music] hi everyone this is rabbi Garfinkel of project 613 for all Amin and tonight we're going to discuss the laws of making kaduche so imagine you're here at the Shabbat table and you're ready for one hey guys I don't see anyone do we have any wine [Music] what about great juice have any oh my gosh it's very embarrassing it's never happened to us so what do we do when we don't have wine or grape juice to make kiddush for Friday night well it's so glad that you asked and look we just happen to have the mr. brewer of the soup arm here and it says what to do in Section 272 subsection 9 unbelievable it says to the following shocking you make a douche on how the whole concept of kaduche is that we are sitting to find and making special to Shabbos day so if we don't have wine or grape juice we use challah okay into what would we actually do so normally you make kiddush and then you would wash your hands and eat the challah but now the first thing we do we would go wash our hands to do until see done and then we would say the text of kiddush but instead of saying bar a period often we would say how mote see lesson you mean Haaretz and then continue with the second paragraph of the text of the occasion okay so that's what we do people if we don't have grape juice or wine on Friday night we make kiddush on how wishing everyone a beautiful Shabbat experience taking home so happy to be here from projects of your team and all of Asia [Music]
