hi my name is Dr Richard Roberts I'm the
vice chairman of the Israel advisory
committee at the Trump campaign I've
been authorized by the highest levels of
the Trump organization to uh give this
interview today to the Lakewood
scoop.com the Lakewood scoop.com has
asked me to to speak about uh issues
that I think are the most important to
the Orthodox Jewish Community but I
think that some of my observations which
are my personal observations will be uh
instructive or interesting to a wider
audience the three issues that I plan to
address today are Israel School vouchers
and social justice or caring for the
needy regarding Israel as the vice
chairman of the Israel advisory
committee I was charged with researching
and writing the uh the uh US policies on
the US Israel relationship and the
Israeli Palestinian relationship
as well as uh writing some uh bullet
points uh which the campaign released
today even though my name was not
associated with the press release I did
write about 2third of those points and
that's totally fine with me I'm happy
just to contribute but I want you to
know that I did received input from a
large number of people including people
that were uh formerly inside the state
department at the highest levels in
United States government with security
clearances and I also received a lot of
help from a a gentleman named Noah poock
and also uh a top Evangelical leader was
a a contributor to these points
also as I did this research it was
interesting what
emerged Hillary Clinton talks about the
two-state solution that she supports it
and I'm not going to go into the whole
history only because I think that that's
too extensive for uh this interview but
what i' what I've what what the experts
have told me and which makes perfect
sense is there there is no two-state
solution there cannot be a two-state
solution because there are not two
parties there are three parties to this
conflict there's Israel there's F or the
Palestinian Authority and
Hamas so first off when Hillary talks
when Hillary Clinton talks about a
two-state
solution uh this is just not the truth
and one of the senior diplomats or ex
senior diplomats I spoke to said he
thinks that it's unfair to the
Palestinian people the people in the
Palestinian Street the average citizen
to have them uh thinking hopefully
towards a two-state solution when no
such solution solution can even exist at
this point and the idea that fah and
which runs the West Bank and and Hamas
are going to are going to get together
and reconcile is simply not reasonable
uh f is a fundamentally corrupt organ
organization they're now serving the
12th year of the four their 4-year term
in the uh presidency of the Palestinian
Authority and they've SC they have
embezzled billions of dollars it's not
my inside information it's well known
fah has bezzel billions of dollars from
the Palestinian people in the form of of
Aid money given by the United States and
the European Union and others which have
now been funneled to the personal
accounts of the the leadership of of the
Palestinian Authority and even before
them Yer Arafat also did the same thing
Hamas on the other hand is a
fundamentalist Islamic um um terrorist
organization that that is uh religiously
driven and has no interest in a
reconciliation with fat so there is no
two-state solution that Hillary Clinton
speaks about
furthermore the Palestinian Authority
has has um groomed and and taught and
raised the last two generations of
Palestinians to believe in a complete
rejection of any peace with Israel
whether it's in the Palestinian press
whether it's in in cartoons with Mickey
Mouse characters espousing how wonderful
it is to be a suicide bomber and to kill
Jews um in in um the religious sermons
in the naming of streets and plazas in
the West Bank being named after
terrorists who blew up pizza restaurants
or or schools and kill children the
Palestinian Authority has done
everything to to destroy Israel and not
not accept or or negotiate towards any
kind of real peace and the real peace
doesn't does not occur when leaders get
together if the leaders don't represent
the people so even if if in behind
closed doors uh Palestinian Authority
leaders will speak about their desire
for peace and if they can only have a
their own state of their own this is
just an attempt to divert uh attention
from the real issue the real issue is a
fundamental hatred and and and
unwillingness to accept the existence of
the Jewish State period so whether it's
the BDS movement where the Palestinian
Authority is trying to um economically
destroy Israel around the world whether
it's uh sending terrorists in to do to
to uh um commit terrorist attacks
randomly against Jews um or or anything
the Palestinian Authority is doing they
they'll do everything except except
except um pursue real peace and they've
prepared their people for a state where
of of Mind where there is no desire for
peace so how can Hillary Clinton keep
talking about a two-state solution when
no such solution
exists Donald Trump on the other hand
has said that he believes that Israel
should continue to build in the so-call
so-called settlements in the West Bank
which are really uh beautiful Suburban
towns where people live and their
factories and and its economic
Prosperity which is what Donald Trump
believes in he believes in economic
prosperity in building creating jobs
having people be employed and and and
and the truth is if the Palestinian
Authority has any interest in creating a
state where there is not bigotry against
Christians and Jews and in which um in
which there is not terrorism and in
which there is some degree of freedom of
speech and respect for people then the
Palestinian Authority should embrace the
idea that there are 500,000
uh Jews living in homes in their future
territory this is a free gift to them
this is free economic boom economic
Advantage for them so whenever the
Palestinian Authority talks about the
occupation it's exactly the opposite
it's the Palestinian authorities
complete rejection and unwillingness to
accept Christians or Jews as Citizens
with equal rights in a country that they
would they would run and it's the
palestin authorities embracing of of
terrorism a promoting of terrorism and
financially incentivizing terrorism with
money going to the families of
terrorists that died in suicide bombings
it's exactly that attitude that is
prevented has prevented any peace from
occurring so when Hillary Clinton talks
about a two-state
solution uh this is indicative or
symptomatic of her her more farre ing um
lack of any attachment to the truth she
just doesn't care what the truth is
she'll speak the what what the the what
the current political um um politically
correct environment wants to hear but in
terms of speaking about the truth and a
real solution she does everything except
that and this is one of the reasons why
I find Mr Trump to be so refreshing um
so genuine um
there was a comedian named Flip Wilson
who's used to have a great line he said
he said one of his skits he said what
you see is what you get with well with
Mr Trump yes it comes out unfiltered yes
he's not a seasoned refined political
type he's real he's a real person is he
perfect no he's not perfect uh none of
us
are you know my first choice in the
Republican uh primary was Scott Walker
governor Scott Walker but when he left
that race and I looked at the other
candidates many of them are very very
fine candidates but eventually Mr Trump
really seemed to me to be the one who is
laying it out on the line you know what
you're getting with him you know what
what he says is is is what he believes
with Hillary Clinton she it seems like
whenever you scratch the surface
whenever you turn over a rock some um
some deception some crime some Mi some
misuse of her Public Power to enrich
herself or her husband uh just comes
flying
out uh and and what do she do in
response to these these Revelations she
um uses uh misdirection a lot or she
uses um uh deceit a lot for example just
the most recent
uh issue was that the FBI found 160,000
emails that came through Hillary
Clinton's server and there may be
confidential emails in there with with
State secrets secrets of the United
States of America so what is Hillary
Clinton's response beenin she and her
campaign say the FBI should release all
the emails right away give them out so
because we want to have complete full
disclosure well well if if anybody is
thinking if you're thinking at all with
a little bit of
intelligence um Hillary Clinton wants to
make it look like she's in favor of
complete disclosure and openness but the
FBI has said there may be secret emails
in there with secrets of the United
States government so they can't be
released and Hillary Clinton knows this
she knows they can't be released so when
Hillary Clinton says release all emails
cuz I'm in favor of full disclosure and
honesty it's a fundamentally
dishonest um position by her that if you
think about it at all is obvious and she
does this constantly she'll either make
statements that are clearly not true or
she'll try to change the topic she go
off to something else to to one of her
isms that she'll accuse the Republicans
of of having one of the phobias or isms
where she'll where she'll try to make a
personal attack on Donald Trump but the
one thing she won't do is tell the truth
and this is a value that Orthodox Jews
hold in very high regard very high
regard um we we believe that you need to
tell the truth it's a fundamental
commandment to tell the truth and and
this type of deception in public office
is not the kind of leader that we need
um both on principle and especially when
it's the solutions that that come out
are not based in reality not based in
how the world really works versus Donald
Trump who's not a politician but a
businessman a hard-nosed businessman who
knows how to negotiate knows how that
knows that people will look you in the
eye and shake your hand and smile and
not tell you the truth he knows how to
negotiate against these people and he
wants to put his skills to to work for
the for the for the American people and
to me this is a tremendous
opportunity secondly I'll just go to
school vouchers Mr Trump believes in in
in uh in competition competition makes
every everyone better if you're
competing if a company's competing then
they're always striving to give you
better Services they don't need to
compete then there's no there's no
economic pressure on them to make things
better so Mr Trump is is clearly in fav
of school vouchers which will help all
children in the United States to get
better educations and Hillary Clinton is
against School vouchers because her own
political benefit is to have the
teachers union supporting her so again
she she puts the welfare and the
advancement of our children uh behind uh
Hillary's desire for political advantage
and political
gain lastly is social justice by social
justice what I really mean is um caring
about disadvantaged people caring about
people in the inner
cities Hillary Clinton is part of a
leftist policy that has destroyed family
units and created uh environments that
have that have stalled the progress of
so and victimized so many people in the
inner cities Donald Trump on the other
hand understands you need Law and Order
you need to have in the inner cities
environments where where people and
families are not afraid that their
children will be killed by stray bullets
from drug gangs shooting it out and
where they don't have to worry about
crime that's that's how they can have
the freedom of movement the freedom to
to live a healthy life and also uh that
that um jobs uh Mr Trump his emphasis is
to make incentiv to bring jobs to the
inner cities where people can work for a
living in my experience most people I
know actually everyone I know who lives
in those environments they just want an
opportunity they want to come to work
they want to work hard they want to make
a living and be able to raise their
families with that dignity and that
freedom and Mr Trump is represents that
that Advantage for people in the inner
cities and as Mr Trump says what do you
have to lose right how are things going
over the last four years the last 8
years the last 30 years in the inner
city what do you have to lose he is a
new he is a new orientation new for
politicians but old in terms of a
solution that works bring back jobs give
people jobs let them be able be able to
support themselves and give them a safe
environment that people can lift
themselves up it's very fundamental so
in conclusion
uh yes I am the vice chairman of the
Israel advisory committee of the Trump
campaign yes I'm all in for Donald Trump
compared to Hillary Clinton as I said
Donald Trump was not my first choice but
compared to Hillary Clinton it's there's
just it's not even
close um uh Mr Trump is such a
superior candidate for president over
what has just been a lifetime a career
with Hillary and her husband and people
around them of of saying whatever they
think the public wants to hear and
enriching themselves with total
disregard for what really works and for
what really will help the American
people so that's why I'm supporting
Donald Trump for president thank you
