Senator Singer following Primary Win June 2013

hi I want to certainly thank all the people that came out and supported me in Tuesday's primary election it was very gratifying to see that I had the support of like the township uh Point Pleasant in Ocean County and old towns and Monmouth um I've worked hard for the people in my district I put their their issues up front transportation is important education is important and certainly recovery from the Sandy storm are all issues that we're talking about making sure we spend your money wisely and keep tax dollars down these are all issues are continuing to fight for and represent the district in in the state and and I felt good the fact that people understood that and were supportive of that and and also uh did not buy into negative campaigning you know the key factor of all this is not just being naysayers to come up with ideas and creative ideas and we've done that as you know we have the commissioner of Transportation coming down here to talk about Route 9 dualization of that and looking at the issues in Howell and how we can help her out nightmare we been having the people from Eda come down and talk about Sandy victims and how they can be helped commercial people in business and we're working with certainly with the Department of Environmental Protection as well as DCA to help families have been displaced by by Sandy and that's an important aspect of this uh school taxes and how we can help out both uh public schools and private schools a major issue something we've worked on hard and something we want to continue working on something that certainly affects Lakewood Howell uh all the towns in Monmouth County or the rest of Townsend ocean so these issues are important to us we've made them the Forefront of what we do and we appreciate the fact that people came out and support us in the primary and understood that I work for the people and I appreciate the fact that they support us and we'll continue to try working as far as I can for them
