Exclusive Campaign Message Committeeman Ray Coles Moshe Raitzik

hi good afternoon my name is Raymond Kohl's I'm a Township committ in Lakewood since 2001 first off I'd like to thank everybody for the uh the trust you've shown in me over the past 10 years uh and giving me the honor of serving you uh it has been a pleasure it's been one of the highlights of my life it's something that I uh I look forward to and I look forward to doing for several more years if I have your support lakewood's a very unique town and I really enjoy the diversity that we have the interactions I have I've learned things about myself that I never would have learned because of the interactions I've had with the people in this town I'm very proud to say that when my children go out in the town they look at everybody's people not as interest groups or as different ethnicities uh that's something that you don't get in many towns we do have a lot of challenges though in this fiscal time uh our number one goal is to make sure that the people living in town have as low a tax burden as possible while maintaining the highest level of service that we can possibly give to you and it's a balancing act sometimes you may agree with our decision sometimes not but trust me when I say that all five of us working on that committee strive every day to make sure that Lakewood is a place that you are proud to call home and that you'll continue to enjoy for many years to come I'm very proud this year to be running with a newcomer Mr mosha Rik I was very honored when he asked if he would uh if he could be considered to be my running mate this year and I just like to pass over to him to allow him to say a few words thank you Ray appreciate it hi my name is moshik I live here in Lakewood I am been in Shiva for many years and I teach at one of thear in town uh my vision for Lakewood is a place where everyone like Ray was saying gets along it's no us it's no them it's we we're all working together making Lakewood a better place uh to that end I've uh Ray and I together we decided that uh we'll put out you know we want that people should give their input cuz it's not really about us it's about the people of Lakewood and we want to hear from you what it is that you feel would make Lakewood a better place to live in uh to that end we I definitely would accept calls Ray takes calls we all appreciate the input of uh the community I know Township committees you know meetings we always uh have people come up concerned citizens on all types of issues that people put in their voice and the committee always considers what people have to say to try to make Lakewood a better place um we I set up a web uh email address Visions for Lakewood at Yahoo . people want to send in submissions ideas things that they think would make Lakewood a better place and we want to incorporate everyone's ideas into truly making lake with a better place for people to live enjoy raise their families and to be happy safe and well I appreciate this opportunity Ray that you've accepted me to be a running mate um it really is a different standard from uh just sitting there in the audience you know but it's a definitely a step up it's a place where I feel that I would want to be to be able to help out people be able to do for others and uh to selfless community service because you definitely don't get a lot of uh reward for you know having to deal with a lot of the issues that that come into town and uh truly giving over and making Lakewood a better place is what I know you want to do which is why I'm happy to be with you mayor manasha the people up up there for many years dedicated service it really is what I want to be a part of and continue to help you in that service so thank you very much for taking this time to uh to listen to us and uh we look forward to seeing you on the campaign sh thank you got I'd like to thank you too mosha and I think one thing you said is very important for people to remember and that that is public service we are here to serve the public you're the bosses you place our trust in us we do the best job that we can but we do need to hear from you one of the things I'm proud of over the last 10 years is that we've made Township committee meetings a very easy place to come to nobody is disrespected everybody gets a chance to say their peace whether we agree or not and then we'll discuss it with you so please whether it's at a Township committee meeting at the email address MO gave us or even just on the street stopping by our houses at night or calling us on the phone we are there to serve you and we need to hear from you and we appreciate that when you do take the time to let us know what's on your minds and again thank you very much I truly hope that you'll support us this November and we look forward to serving you for many years to come thank you very much
