we talked about the current events that are happening in Israel shove the holiday and God's revelation and how it all kind of connects to us I think we have to bring it down now just to a very personal level and the story of our journey through the desert to Si from SI to the promised land that's really the story of all of our lives and you know I've said well I'm in this situation right now and I at least I can try to be a light and so pretty much every that writes me and I get so many whatsapps from people literally all over Israel it's just amazing how far the news spread and what I respond to them is saying in Hebrew you know even when it is m is even when it sucks even when it hurts everything is for the good everything that happens to us happens for us that is the essence of emuna and that is the right way to engage with reality knowing that everything is unfolding in our favor and that's one of the fundamental reasons why Western vision of the devil is so antithetical to Judaism it's so antithetical to the Torah it's like oh the devil did that oh the evil forces did that it's like no no no there is nothing other than God everything is happening through him the challenges the strong times the weak times the good times the bad times everything is from him and you know it's not that many many people let's say they don't even necessarily believe in the devil as an independent Force many people don't believe in anything and so then what do you have then you have amalik then you have just walking and happen stance like it says a am like happened upon us along the way and you want to just live in happen stance that's the exact opposite of living in Providence and so Amun is knowing and living a life of Providence and not a life of Hance and not a life against some external Force other than God rather it's aligning ourselves with God's Will and that everything happens happens from him and everything happens for a reason and you know I've been looking for how does this situation how is it meant for me how is it meant for me to grow into something better and someone sent me a WhatsApp as a response and said you know this is really been an aoda for me it's really been hard work for me spiritually I've been dealing with rheumatoid arthritis and it's definitely not easy and Raba says Raba says you should constantly say to yourself everything that the Holy One does he does for the good and the reason you have to say it over and over again is because it's not easy to remember it's not easy to live that way and so my answer to his answer to me was yeah but it's the right way to live it's the best way to extract the blessings out of each situation because what you look for you will find what you aim at is what she'll hit and when you feel like there's nothing to live for and nothing more to expect from Life Victor Frankle says the realization people need to arrive at is that life is expected something from them and so how do I show up to this circumstance and perform my mission at the highest level possible but really in order to understand that question and know the answer you really have to know the answer I mean to really internalize the answer what is my mission in life is it to make money is it to be happy why am I here and I think the truest answer is that our mission is to grow into the people Hashem created us to be everything that happens to us happens for us to grow into the person that we were created to be and so in the desert on our way to the promised land the journey it's like that encounter is constantly speaking to us constantly guiding us and it's guiding us like deila said not to like these onetime moments of inspiration it's like a slow process of listening listening to that still silent voice internalizing it and living by it and so like what Dr Victor Frankle said when you feel like there's nothing to live for and nothing more to expect from Life the realization people need to arrive at is that life is expecting something from them and whatever unfolds that is calling to us speaking to us calling us to grow calling us to become the people we were created to be and so may we all celebrate this miracle of the release of the hostages may we celebrate the Revelation that we're going to receive this shavu and may all of us enjoy our journey ups and downs either it's miserable it's hard it's challenging everything that happens to us truly happens for us
