Rambam - The Master Torah Organizer

Born in Spain in the 12th century, Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon lived through persecution and exile, eventually settling in Egypt [music] where he became the personal doctor of the Sultan and the spiritual leader of the Jewish [music] world. But the Rambam wasn't just brilliant, he was bold. He saw the confusion among the Jews trying to keep halakha [music] and he made it his mission to organize it. Not to write something new, but to bring clarity to what already was there. No back and forth, just [music] clarity. He starts with the most fundamental truths, the existence of Hashem, purpose of creation, and the foundations of belief. And then he builds out the entire structure of Jewish life.
