Prayer Is More Than Asking

While we naturally turn to prayer when someone is unwell or in need of blessings, prayer is much more than making requests. [music] It's about connection. It's a time to experience God and experience our authentic self, our nishama. When we davin, we speak directly to God in a personal one-on-one conversation. Much like a child speaking to a loving parent, by doing this daily, God becomes approachable and relatable. He isn't only the creator of the universe as a whole, but also my God who cares for me and loves me deeply.
