The Holy Farm

This farm was promised to these American guys 3,000 years ago. >> This place originally started when Ari Fisher had the idea to build a therapeutic [music] farm. Like something out in the hills for guys who want to work on building themselves as well as their connection to Hashem. >> Working with animals, being like the Avos, taking the animals out, it's huge. I know how much it's done for me and I want to share that with others. Give it over. It's a gift. The Yidden are >> a nation of the hills, a nation of freedom. Hashem gave it to us. He chose this land for a reason and he wants us to enjoy it [music] and live it. >> I think just being in nature is is huge for for personal development, for a connection with Hashem. Just >> Yeah. >> working with animals, building. You get to see you get to see Hashem's hand in everything. Like I feel like when you're in the city, you're very removed. So when you you know, you go to to the store to get milk, here you go to the goats. It just it's the goat and then Hashem. >> Me and Yona built this farm from scratch. [music] There was nothing here, empty mountain. Started with two goats. >> Do they have names? [music] >> Um some of them. The ones that are worthy. This is Kayla. That's Zayde. >> I'm the mean person over here in the [music] farm. Sometimes we give uh breaks and uh >> [laughter] >> We can give them to drink some water in the middle of the day. >> The idea behind this is to show people that Judaism doesn't necessarily doesn't look one specific way. That there is Judaism that fits for everybody. >> This is just the perfect getaway. I would love to [music] live out here one day. >> For now I'm in Yerushalayim and whenever I need menuchas hanefesh, whenever I need to just like calm down my soul from all like the noise, the hustle bustle, this is just the place. >> There's a real energy here in Havat Olam Avraham of doing, people being lema'aseh, getting their hands dirty in the most holy possible way.
