Shalom everybody. Welcome back to the
Bate Madrash. Welcome home to Torah.
Home to Torah. Before we begin, I want
to mention this year is sponsored by Dr.
Blanca, Dr. Dovavid Weisskoff, right,
with the white hair, the smart guy, the
one with the the wise cuff head. And
it's in honor of families that suffer
from parental alienation. Number one, I
do want to speak about that. And uh
especially Rafu Shalma, the learning
should elevate the possibility of a
complete recovery for Yil Ary Benut from
whatever illness uh he has. uh along
with the actual victory, success and
victory of Israel against its enemies in
war and the return of all of our
hostages
alive. Now, since RevDavid asked me to
speak about this idea, I mean, it's in
honor and um of the victims, the the the
people who have overcome parental
alienation or who are still suffering. I
do want to mention that I know nothing
of the subject. However, he did ask me
to speak about the ha for Shabas. So
it's not even this week's para because
shabas a is not this shabas but I'm not
giving a sheer neck shabas because
it's so what we've decided to do is
we're going to discuss it tonight. Okay.
And um based on the idea that it does
say in the na'vi if you go to the Hebrew
sheets just turn it over a
second right in the Hebrew sheets. So,
one of the verses that you don't have,
but uh it says in verse 23, "Behold, I
send you Elijah the prophet before the
coming of the great and awesome day of
Hashem." Verse 24, "And he will turn
back to God, the hearts of the fathers
with their sons, and the hearts of the
sons with their fathers, lest they come
and strike the land with utter
destruction."
Now that last verse is repeated. Now
what was David
thinking? And I'm going to try to come
with let's say fresh ideas. I would
assume that David is thinking of and
that's one of the themes of yan as aus
to create unity. So if the if there is
such a thing as an alienation and I'm
not sure who alienated who at the point
in time based on what he is talking
about parental alienation I would have
thought that there's a victim is the
child and the perpetrator would be the
or or the cause of the alienation is
coming from the adult in the room right
you assume that there's always an adult
in the room the one who's more mature
the one who's more experienced in wife
should have had the wisdom not to
alienate their child. However, from the
puss, I think it's going to be
symbiotic. It's going to work both ways.
And I'll show you why through the shar.
Um, so I hope David is not upset with me
when I make it as if. And we could talk
about uh in our own
generation what I think it's talking
about besides I'm going to use the word
parental alienation uh where children
become former than their parents and
turn the parents back to uh the proper
ways of
God. However, our parents, parents,
parents somewhere along the line, they
also were kids and they
also, you know, turned away uh from
let's say uh our heritage, our rich
heritage of Judaism. So somewhere in the
long along the line, even the parents
someone was a child at one point. Also,
I do want to say and we're going to talk
about some very mystical ideas, but one
of the ideas
is before we come into the world, one of
the it's like an oath that the soul
takes and gets a
choice. Do you want to be in this
household with those parents? And for
some reason, it's also a tikun for the
child to be in that particular home.
I actually will relate this to an idea,
a very fundamental idea in Judaism. One
of the six 13 commandments is dealing
with a a weward and rebellious
son. The parents actually have to have a
lot in common. Maybe their voice, maybe
their directives, they speak with the
same voice.
Many parents who experienced this um
let's say the distancing alienation from
their children because they also
suffered trauma as children and never
dealt with it properly. Maybe they
didn't have the tools whatever whatever
it was they never found the right tikun
and the right fix and somehow another
unfortunately go on for generations and
generations. And I do want to speak a
little bit about reincarnation at some
point and how when we speak about the
father and the
son. It could be what we're really
talking about is the father is my past
lifetime and the son is the present
lifetime. Okay. So hopefully we're going
to come to all this
um during during this year. So I think
what we'll do is we will begin with
the with the maharal this is the the
Hebrew sheets that you have and it's
regarding this is basically from the
hagada of the the pesak hag of the
maharal himself and he speaks about the
Indian of shabas hag the Indian of
shabas what is what is shabas hag it's
the shabas that comes before pes
That's why it's not really this shabas.
It's the next shabas. However, it says
in the shar and it's brought down in the
Gammorrah that the the rabbi gets up and
speaks about the to refreshen everybody
get them ready for Pesak with all the
and of course they must dion out and
expound upon the ideas of chuva believe
it or not chuva as well and mystical
ideas getting ready for and I'm going to
say it's really related to the ha to
Torah for redemption Get ready for
redemption, brothers and sisters,
because this is Shabas coming up, you
know, in 8 n days. But anyway, so the
the clear, forgive me every time I
mention the word clearp because we
usually use the clear. So here it goes.
He quotes a Pik from Mish and it's
chapter 8 verse 6. He begins his words.
which translates as listen hearken
because I'm going to speak of very uh
like noble things very important things
and the opening of my lips shall be
straight shall be the right things so
that's very um what's the word apppropo
for a darian someone who's speaking to
the masses someone who wants to
mikim to cause them to go in the
straight path path is to make a little
bit of a prayer first.
So, my words especially should be able
to enter into your ears as well. So he
says like this second line
downsur to inform you with the help of
the almighty. that so is the rock the
foundation of the world. The
Yeshua with his salvations of God
Almighty Shim be able to open up the
gates, the gates of the Jewish people,
the house of Israelim.
I'll just stop there to
translate that there are reasons there's
deep reasons and hints that are very
pleasant from all the different laws and
and customs which are uh which have a
certain beauty a very holy light and
ashdas I don't know if I can translate
that but a fiery uh notion to them
that's that actually uh hoovers above
hoovers. So we have like kitney oats. I
know people want to talk about that, but
if you ever want to ask me why is a very
special min to hold, we could talk about
that another time. But there's so many
customs that we that we do and we hold
dear that are very
holy
Shabbat that from the originally when we
left Egypt that Shabas was the 10th of
Nissan and we're going to talk about
that as well. Why specifically the 10th?
But anyway, the shab is before until
after the night of the seder and his
Hebrew is
beautiful. So there are going to be a
lot of customs between the
shabas until the holy night, the
sanctified night of Passover itself.
Hashab that Shabbat that comes
immediately before
Passover
Shabas and we're going to see in the
Torah. This is an awesome day. Okay,
it's called Shabas. What do we do? We're
no
more. There is a custom on on the
Shabbat afternoon around Mina time to
read part of the Hagada just part
fromu until the words we were slaves. We
were slaves in Egypt until that was an
atonement for all of our sins. Imagine
that. Where do these holy customs come
from, right? Could be just to prepare
yourself, but there's something much
deeper. The
gnimbo and the of the community also has
the custom and people have the custom to
go and to join in and to listen to the
laws the upcoming you know preparations
of the laws and um the expounding upon
them according to the mahar what appears
to him he says
Maftbo. Remember, there is a ma. There's
a ha tora. And if you notice, you don't
have it in your sheets. Oh, no. You have
it on the source sheet. It would
be it would be
um I believe it start look at number
five in Mali chapter 3:4. So it's the
fourth verse of the the third chapter.
That's where the ford begins and we say
it quite often in our
dingshud right and the offerings of
Yehud and which we used to do shall be
pleasant to the
Lord. Um okay can I skip something? The
arva hashem that's the first two words
in the in the in the text. They should
be pleasant to God. In other words, we
should have the rebuilding of the
temple. We should reinstitute the
corbanos and it should be pleasing to
God just like it was back then as in the
days of old and former years.
Um, it was on page two number five.
Okay. So, that is where the ha to Torah
begins with great anticipation towards
the rebuilding of the temple. Guys, you
hear this? I know you guys love to see
the temple rebuilt soon in our days and
it's written in the para in the
Torah and that would be verse like we
just read it in the beginning that is
uh verse
number look at number 10 It's source
number 10. It's Mali chapter 3 verse 23.
You see it? Behold, I will send you Eli
the prophet.
I'm reading it from the Hebrew. In the
Hebrew, it's Eliah. And there's a reason
why. There's a V that's missing and it's
on purpose. Okay. the prophet Elijah.
We'll call him Elijah, but Eliah, the
prophet before the coming of the great
and awesome day of the Lord. Nice
pickup. In English, it does say Elijah,
but in the Hebrew, it's Eliah.
Okay. So, the Maharal continues. So that
is part of the theme of the haftra and
it's because if we if you notice what it
says at the very end that Elijah the
prophet is going to come and he's going
to have good news right besar toos right
he's going to announce the great and
awesome day of the lord is coming and
that in
Hebrew that's where these words come
from that's why it's called nikra shabas
And what happened? We left Egypt and it
right. We left Egypt. When we left
Egypt, what happened
occurred? Awesome. Great things. His
actions, Hashem's actions were were no
were unbelievably awesome. They were
great and awesome that he
did. And when we left Egypt, this with
this great awe. What is this
description? What's the great awe? the
gilo, the revelation of God's presence,
so to
speak, and we are what? We're notified
and we are assured. This is what the
prophet is telling us. The last
prophet
literally no more prophets after that
point. That doesn't mean prophecy ended
because the prophets prophesized about
the future and they're unfolding before
our very eyes. We don't have prophets
today. Anybody who walks around and says
they're a prophet is a fake. And if they
had the if we have the
Sanhedrin, woes to them for the
punishment they would get. If they call
to say I have raesh, you can get away
with to say you have
prophecy, you already nixed yourself.
You've already lost all credibility
because the prophecy of the prophets
were God told me what to say and I'm
telling you what God told me to say and
that's a false prophet. If any part of
that's not true to say I had a vision to
say I whatever. Okay, let's move on.
So we are notified and assured from this
living redeemer. Who is the living
redeemer? Hashem himself. And he sends
his
mahim, right? his servants, the
prophets, that in the
future that the Jewish people will be
elevated to a much higher level. And I
think that we're getting there. I think
that there are people
who through Torah and Mitz, we are
further from Sai. So we're like midgets,
but we're midgets, dwarfs on the
shoulders of great people.
as we're going to see soon in Mika 7:15
that Hashem is making with them greater
and greater and more awesome things like
it's written look at Mika 7:15 number 11
on the sor sheet as in the days of your
ex from the land of Egypt I will show
him wonders anybody who's lived lived in
Israel for the last, I don't know, I've
been here like over, you know, between
35 and 40 years. Anybody who's here last
week, two weeks ago, has seen the
wonders, right? I don't know how many
missiles they claim. 300 missiles. There
were really 600 missiles. Three of them
already fell in Iraq. I'm talking about
that night that I was on a plane coming
back to Earth, Israel sometime in April,
right? You had 300 missiles and like I
can't say nobody got hurt. One guy got
hurt. One guy might not even got killed.
And who was that guy? Reminds me of 35
years ago we had a war and there was one
guy that got killed by the 39 missiles
that Iraq sent, right? He was a
uh uh he had a he had a non-coosher
butcher. He was a non-coosher butcher,
right? Iban Brock sold pork. That one
guy, he he he was killed. who was the
one who was supposedly and and and I
think it was a Gaza guy who was in
Jericho. I mean like come on you it's
like hello I I don't have to
describe the awesomeness of of
God. So the the um the mar
continues why is it called the night a
guarding a night of guarding right
there's a pik it says it's a gu it's a
night of guarding because god is
guarding this type of night the the
night of pesak which we were redeemed we
will be redeemed in the future that's
what it means the guarding is like
anticipating guarding for the
future something that's going to happen
in the
future and this could happen any day now
where Mameish not only are we in the
month of Nissan but we're the tension in
the world towards what I would call
either Armageddon or World War
II. Um the Vagon says it's going to last
6 minutes. Some say he said 12 minutes,
but you get the point. Only a war like
that could have been a nuclear type of
war. But we're safe here, so don't
worry.
Now, why is this thing that we're
celebrating? It's called Shabas. It was
on the 10th of the month. Why don't we
just celebrate every 10th of Nissan as
the day? Because it was on the 10th. We
ignore the 10th. It's on Shabas. Because
the strength of Shabas, how does it
work? I'm sure you've all heard the
argument the maklo alleged
maklokus kazal tell us that if all the
Jews just keep two shabases in a row
mashiach would come right away but I'm
sure you've all heard the other medish
says if all the Jews just keep one
shabas mashiach would come is that a
fight is that a discrepancy is that an
argument no why I heard the name of re
yan said over like this. A shabas needs
a beginning point. You have to have six
days. You can't just say right now,
okay, I'm going to start right now. I
let's assume I never kept Shabas and I'm
going to say I'm going to keep Shabas.
So right now I'm just going to start six
days and then the seventh day is Shabas.
It's not a seventh day. I have to have a
starting point. I can't just
indiscriminately make a starting point
because really today is
2,111,525th day of my life. It's not day
seven or you know it's not day one of
anything. So if I have a shabas as a
starting
point then I can have six working days
because there's a power within that
first shabas that's drawn into the six
days. And then there's the six days. The
power of those six days drawn into the
shabas. It's like a snowball effect. You
keep building and building and building
towards the year
600. So what does it mean to keep two
chabases? When they said kept two
shabases, they mean have a shabas as a
starting point. It's not a real shabas.
It's just a starting point shabas.
Because before that you didn't have 6
days. You had
2,111,58, right? You need a shabas to
start to jumpst start the whole ball
going. And then the one who says you
only need one shabas. They're only
talking about the second shabas because
the first one wasn't really a shabas. It
was day 5,000
2,111,525. So there's no arguments
really. They're really saying the same
thing. They're acknowledging the same
thing. There's a power in shabas that
and and what did we do on that shabas?
Happened to be the 10th of the month.
that Shabas we went
against against
what we took a sheep or a goat tied it
to our bed post
this sheep by the way if you notice
there's a few pukim here that I
bring just in Exodus
12:3 the the puss says on the 10th of
the month let each one take a lamb how
do we know it's shabas
cuz we know we left on Thursday. So we
left on Thursday. That would be the
fifth day of the week. Okay. So that's
the 15th. So the 10th was Shabas. So
what is it about the sheep that is so
bad that um we risked our lives taking
that sheep? So there's two sukim and I
just have to find them on the sheets
that when Pharaoh asked well put it this
way when the brothers got
together when sorry when they got
together with Yseph and Yseph advised
the brothers when Pharaoh asked you what
do you do for a living? What is your
occupation? Of course you would have
thought they're going to say we're
doctors and lawyers, right? No, we're
shepherds. He says what does he say?
Tell them you're shepherds because this
way since the puss says that's an
abomination in the eyes of the
Egyptians. To be a shepherd is an
abomination. You know why? Because the
sheep was their god. The sheep was their
deity. So by saying and y was trying to
advise them because he was telling them
the secret of survival in exile. Don't
intermar. Don't intermar. How are you
going to keep from intermaring?
Tell them you're shepherds. They're
going to say, "Oh, you guys have to live
far away from us because just imagine
going to India." They say, "What do you
do?" And you have a cowboy hat and you
have a lasso. And they say, "What do you
do for a living?" You say, "I'm a
cowboy." Well, you know, well, I think
they have a sacred cow. They have a lot
of rituals what they do. They let they
close the roads. Imagine if a cow
wandered on the airport tarmac. I mean,
that would close the airport. That's
right. Right. So, so one of the psukim,
anybody find it yet? Okay. So, if you go
to page three, I'm sorry, page one, and
it's the third source. So, how do we
know that the sheep was the deity of of
Egypt? As I just mentioned, but I'll
tell you the verse. Genesis
46:34. Yseph is advising the brothers
what to say. When they as Pharaoh asked
you, "What do you do for a living?" You
shall say, he says, your servants have
been owners of livestock from our youth
until now, both we and our ancestors.
And what do they want to do? They wanted
to dwell in a lush, you know, green
marshy area so that you may dwell in the
land of Gan. Yseph is advising them
because all shepherds are ahorent to the
Egyptians. And also in Exodus chapter
22 when Moses he um is offered by uh by
by Pharaoh, you know, sure, you know, go
ahead. Go ahead, offer your uh
sacrifices here. What what do you think?
Well, he was pretty smart to start with,
but uh Yakov um uh right, Yakov says,
I'm sorry, Moses says it's improper to
do that. By the way, it's in chapter 8
of Exodus verse 22. No, we can't
sacrifice our offering here in Egypt.
For we will sacrifice the abomination of
the Egyptians to God our Lord. We will
sacrifice the deity of the Egyptians
before their eyes and they will not
stone us. what we're going to take your
deity, slaughter it in front of you, and
you're not going to like like you know,
attack us, create riots like we see,
right?
So, this idea, by the way, we not only
were we slaves, right, of hyenu, but we
were also
um
idol worshippers. I mean, what what
right did we have to be redeemed? So,
okay, we're not going to talk about that
right now. You know, there were four
things that we did in order to better to
be redeemed. I mean, we're not going to
go deep into it. You know, we kept our
Jewish names, by the way, which instills
hope. There's a hope in the name. All
the names and we talk about since
paros all the names are representative
of a redeeming factor. We kept our
language. By the way, if we kept the
names and not the language, it wouldn't
have meant anything because it's only in
Hebrew that each of the names actually
mean uh towards redemp redemptive
qualities. Uh we didn't what else? We
didn't intermar clothing. We didn't
intermar. We didn't speak lash. I'm just
going to mute you. There you go. Um
okay, this is what the what the fifth
thing was, but okay. So this is what we
did to merit. But that's a big big deal.
It's a big merit. The truth
is we were just like them when it came
to idol worship perhaps. Maybe we
weren't as deep. Maybe we were uh it was
superficial. All right. Certainly ley
did not get involved in in the idol
worship. But um the angels on high said
why should they be redeemer? Why should
they be uh thrown into the into the sea
of reeds to drown? Aren't they both idol
worshippers? That was their argument. So
we weren't such sadiking but what we had
not just hope. We had the DNA of
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. We held the
promise. We were part of the the
tradition. And we had I'm going to call
it derk erit. If we didn't speak
lashhara, we really had a certain amount
of octus which is going to play a very
important role here because why the 10th
I I started to discuss this what
happened on the 10th we just said on the
10th we were told to basically separate
ourselves from the idols. So if you go
to page 4 number 15 it's Exodus 12 verse
21. So Moses Moses summoned all the
elders of Israel and he said to them in
Hebrew, draw forth and buy for
yourselves the sheep. So the word mash,
it's actually to pull away from draw
yourselves away from idol worship. Okay?
And it was through this um I'm going to
call it mass nethish they were
sacrificing their lives. They gave their
lives towards this promise. They were
willing to take the idol of the
Egyptians, bring it into their bedrooms,
and when the Egyptians asked, "What are
you doing?" They said, "We're going to
slaughter your your your
your
god." That would be like, I guess they
call it a red flag, right? I mean, this
is like you're putting yourself in such
danger. Yet, this is the merit of what
happened. Now, I do want to talk about
what happened on the
10th. This was the day that
um um what happened with Miriam on the
10th. Anybody know?
What? The 10th. Miriam. The 10th of
Nissan. That's when she passed away.
What else happened on the 10th that's
famous?
No. Okay. So, what happened on the 10th
that's so famous? I think we should I
think this should be the we should
institutionalize it as national aliyah
day. Okay. Why do I say that? Because in
Joshua we crossed the Jordan River on
the 10th of Nissan in the 40th year, the
the year we came into Israel. I guess it
was the tail end of the 39th year. But
so really on a certain sense I asked why
are we celebrating on Shabbat? It's
called
Shabbat because it happened on Shabbat.
We spoke about the power of Shabbat and
how it draws forth because what we did
on that Shabbat was so powerful. That's
why we we were redeemed that week. The
10th, if we celebrated the 10th, that
would overshadow or somehow another
bring up the 10th. I don't know why you
guys don't know that. This is national
or national aliyah day. This is the day
we came into the land of Israel. So one
would overshadow the other. So we have
to keep in mind it's shabas. Okay.
Shabas. The number 10. The yud in in the
Hebrew language is like a hook. It looks
like a hook. We the Jews are called
yidden maybe because yuda yid like
yud. What does the yud do? The yud is
that hook between the singular numbers
right? to call the single digits and
then the double digits because yud alif
is 11. Of course in the Arabic numbers
that we use 10 has two digits but on a
deep level it's really the hook between
up till nine or singular and then 11 is
double and the yud. So it's a
unifier the the Yeshua Hartman goes deep
into this. I I don't want to lose
anybody on that. But so just keep in
mind the tenth itself was a unifier and
we were totally unified. We were so
unified, right? Like I said, we didn't
speak Lashinhara. What does that really
mean? We didn't turn anybody in, right?
Already 12 months before we knew that we
were going to leave with a great amount
of wealth and no Jews spilled the beans.
By the ninth plague, we were actually
asking them during the ninth pl the
plague of darkness where, you know, we
didn't have to ask them. We were walking
around their house freely. It was dark
for three days for the Egyptians. We got
to see and seek out where they were
hiding all their stuff. We didn't take
it. We didn't touch it until God told
us, "Now go." The 10th plague, the the
midnight during the plague of the fir
the killing of the firstborn. By the
way, on a mystical level, Aries, which
is the uh the zodiac sign, the the ram,
right? During
Nissan, is the first
born of the zodiac. I mean, the world
was created in Nissan. And the non-Jews
who believe in zodiacs, they acknowledge
this is the firstborn of the zodiac. We
slaughtered their god. God in the higher
heavens slaughtered their god, so to
speak. And in the full moon, the height,
the most powerful day of the month, we
walked out. We walked out the next day,
but we walked out on that day, the 15th,
the most allegedly powerful day of their
deity, which was made into nothing.
Okay.
Now going back into what the Maharal had
to
say that I'll just read the last
sentence we said and try to explain it
that all
things draw forth into actuality from
the six days of the week. The six days
of action they
are they are awakened. We can do what we
can do during the six days because of
something that was awakened within the
Shabas that came
before and the very day of Shabas itself
is it opens up the
gatehu. So what happened on Shabbat
opened the gates and it was prepared and
part of the foundations of the
salvation that was bound to happen that
week. The hash pes now we understand why
the shabas that comes before pes is
called what? Shabas ao because that was
the great shabas that allowed us through
our following god's command wiping out
the deity or let's say collecting the
deity in order to wipe it out and
risking our own lives to stand up like
Ara did that is what catapulted us
towards our salvation the following week
you know five days later
We are anticipating looking forward
towards the power of this preparation
shall hit of an
awakening the opening of the
gates from the future
salvation is that's coming towards us
the Jewish people.
That's going to be a great and awesome
day. Therefore, we are um from from our
point of view, we're giving strength
towards the movement of our lips.
When we sit on Shabas afternoon and read
parts of the we were slaves until the
whole story until we're freed and our
sins are atoned
for when the rabbi gives over fantastic
novel
ideas and he's telling over different
and he's speaking about different
stories.
Israel. Remember, our power is in our
mouth. We talk about a double-edged
sword. The the weapon of war is the
double-edged sword. In Hebrew, it's
pipote. Pipote is double-edged. Pipote.
It's p twice. It's pepe twice. We have
the power of the mouth to speak Torah.
That's what we use. That's what we used
to give over Torah. And to pray, we use
our mouth.
This is replacing the uh the cows, the
animals, the lips are replacing them in
Torah
and it's the power we have also from
anything that unfortunately has stopped
and interrupted us because of the
because we don't have a temple. We don't
have the opportunity to bring the
coronos now we spent in
Egypt. This was before we were given the
Torah. When we were in Egypt, we still
not we still had not yet been given the
power of the Torah to awaken us and toil
through the movement of our lips. So
what were we given?
God gave us this command, right? He gave
us additional from the seven Noah laws
that we were bound to for hundreds of
years. He gave us additional
commandments. One of them was to bring
the Corbin
Pesh from the 10th of the
month. It happened to fall in that year
on Shabas.
It was um the shabas that came before
before pes. It's hinted to in the
words. We already said that it's from
the idea of removing yourself from this
deity. Don't worship it. Stay away from
it.
remove your hands
from like it says in the
mid. And through these actions, the
actions on the 10th of the month by
taking the the um the Pes this awakened
the redemption that was yet to come that
was about to come.
Yumipur Shabasuva as we know at the
other end of the calendar we
have right six months later and you have
a special Shabas that's before that and
it's called
Shabasuva just like you have shabish
chuva that's a special shabas what's
going to awaken in you the chuva and
during that week you're going to have
yam kipur it's going to come out in the
middle that week. That's why it's called
Shabisha Chuva. So, what's coming after
that? What's coming after that? Shabas,
the power um that's happening on that
special day of chuva for the Jewish
people,
hashim. We're going to be returned to
God
when through the five different types of
five different types of
afflictions and our
prayers through our
cries and our crying out loud our
screams just like we said over here in
the God had what? Forgiven our sins.
It's all connected. That's what yum
kipur is about. Hashem forgave their
sins and he returned us, right? We
returned to what? To the
original to our original
state. And this is well
known that we required to do something
something on the shabas in order to
awaken that power from from something we
do to activate this awakening from
above. We actually awaken below and that
will awaken above.
beam and this is taking place through
the idea that the Jews themselves have
accepted upon themselves their heart the
shabas prior to return to God with with
strength and this is clear and that's
why it's called shabas that shab is
called shabas chuva so if that's true
also over by yam kipur over here and I
want to elaborate a little bit more so
too the shab Shabas Pes this Shabas
which comes before Pes is called
Shabas. Why is it called Shabas?
Because because this is all about the
preparation for the Yeshua for the
salvation that we are anticipating
looking forward
to. It's going to end up being one of
the weekdays of the week that follows it
follows what
um that is the night of
Pes that's where God's honor has been
magnified through the whole
world by this coming day that's called
great and awesome and the clear the
the uh the mara explains this is very
proper. There's no doubt that this is
all true according to everything anybody
that has any understanding. Now I want
to speak about another verse in here in
the par you don't have it I mean you
have it on the source sheet if anybody
can find it for me where it
[Applause]
says sorry it's taking me so long and
it's chapter 3 verse 7 the same words
appear in Zechariah
1:3 God says return to me and I will
return to you right we have one of our
friends here his last name
is and um
it's God is saying you awaken yourselves
first you do something and I'm going to
return to you it's interesting in
Jeremiah it seems like the opposite is
being said it says over there if you
return then I'll return to you I'll
return to
you but in the And we just saw in the in
the um in that when this unity takes
place when we return to
whom? Our
father then our father will return to
us. There will be this
unification. This no more parental
alienation and then all the nations will
praise you. the result of the unity
whether it's through father and son son
through father or general
um unity this is what's going to bring
us to the stage of msiach of el yao and
then the nations will praise you um
there's a lot more I can say but I want
to speak about the
benor kazal tell us it never happened
and it never
Bill, the clear car. The clear car says
it's a it's a analogy. It's a
mushel. Hashem loves us so much. We
could be wayward. We could be off the
dar. His love for us will never end. So
ultimately, whether you're the father or
the son, our job is to imitate God,
right? to be forgoing to be mater. The
father should overlook his own honor. A
king cannot do this. The father should
tell his son, you don't have to stand up
for me. Every time I walk in the
room, when your mother asks for
something, I ask for something, let her
have it. Right? He should forgo his
honor. Hashem is a vatran to a certain
extent. It's not for me to say, but the
clear card clearly
says it never happened because it's to
teach us a lesson that Hashem never
gives up. It could never happen where he
would execute and finish us off. And
that's also the message in Malahi that
this relationship will be restored
between our heavenly father and the ch
us the children. And it could be just a
hint a rees the way it's spoken about
here. Um let's take it literally. Let's
assume for whatever reason children are
estranged from their parents whether the
parent is the victim you know in the
previous generation through uh what do
you call it through a trauma as a
child. Everybody can be healed.
Everybody can work on their character.
The child listen you can have a family
of 10. Everyone's sparkling great and
one kid goes off to Derek. You know they
have this thing called tough love. We
see for the most part it doesn't work.
I'm not saying it should never be used.
It should be used with guidance. There
are going to be times where tough love
is used. But as I heard from Rabbi, I
didn't hear personally say it. Schlommo
Carlbach would I always think to myself
when I was bringing up my kids, what
would Schlommo say? How would he
react? Maybe I made mistakes. But
anyway, that was the path I chose. It
wasn't easy, okay? But if you know what
I'm saying, I chose that
path. Um, and I think my kids love me
for it, okay? They all have they're all
in different levels of observance, but
they all love Israel, the God of Israel,
the land of Israel, and you couldn't
hope for really anything more than that.
I hope I gave some insight into what we
call Shabaso. Again, it's not this week.
I don't know when you're watching this,
but it's the day mamish, the day before
the seder. Okay? So, um, what I always
tell people is not just have a shabas,
but there it says in the shokar, call it
shabas. When people greet each other,
okay, sounds very strange. You say good
chabas, help people have a great shabas.
It's
shabaso. Okay, so that's one idea. Next
is that we should hopefully how do I say
it with kindness dova right fix those
relationships figure out a way it's
usually some pagum some blemish inside
of us right usually right you point your
finger they say you have three or four
whatever you get the idea there's a few
fingers pointing back at you so there's
a lot of projection that goes on we
always like to blame so easy it's much
easier to blame the other person and if
it's a kid. Listen, assume your parents
didn't have the tools. They loved you,
but they didn't have the tools or maybe
they were also abused. If you were I'm
not excusing any abusers, right? There's
there's a point that is beyond just
dysfunctional, right? Most of us are
dysfunctional, but there's a thing that
goes beyond that and that's not
excusable. But for the the general
dysfunction, assume they also had a
tough upbringing. And maybe forgiving
your parents is is uh is also part of
the children turning their hearts. In
general, I said it's probably the idea
that most a lot of kids become more
religious than their parents. I think in
the end of days because they're bringing
their parents back. That could be pushup
shot. But it seems as though it's also
working the other way around that some
some parents they also they became from
and their kids are already you know in
their 20s how you going to bring them
along so there's a a unification there
has to be trust there has to be love
there has to be respect and through that
bizraem the whole nation will return to
our loving father in heaven and our our
sponsor David Weisskoff has a YouTube
channel um dealing with parental or
let's say the helping and assisting the
opposite of parental alienation helping
to stop it and if I can remember
correctly it's Dr. D
1967 1990 1967 1967 a good year it was a
good year Dr.
D1967 on YouTube if you're interested in
following through with more insights and
how one can help or be helpful or be
saved from parental alienation. And with
that, I wish you shabbat shalom, a great
shabas, and a great life. And we'll see
you in a few weeks. A few weeks. That's
