Hey guys, welcome back to our Tuesday
live streams. Great to see you
again. H it's been a while. It's been a
while. Um two weeks ago we did not have
a stream. The reason for that was there
was no reason. I totally blinked about
it. Um, and then last week,
um, I was working on other projects
including for the podcast, but I was
also working on the shops of Barkin
videos, which we had one. If you guys
follow this the Just Par channel, we had
an episode a day and it was pretty
exhausting filming, editing, filming,
editing for a full week. And that's
besides the fact that there was also me
working in LEC and doing programs and
there was longr right before that and
also I'm teaching every day. So with all
that in account
uh I say I was pretty justified. But um
I'm so happy that we're back. I'm so
happy we're back. Um I just came off of
interviewing someone special for the
podcast. You'll see that soon. And we're
also going to announce who's going to be
in the pasta six next week at the end.
Um I would like to see your guys'
comments and questions and we will and
we will uh have a Q&A in between the
stream and also at the
end. So today we will be
watching something that I was aware of
for a
while. I never dwelled delved into it as
much.
There was a few things here and there,
but I never like delved into like
watching it. I think I started watching
one episode and it kind of I was
younger, so I had no patience, so I
ended it. Wasn't really getting, but I
don't remember much about it. But, uh, I
kind of get the idea of what the
Crockbox show is, but
um, I do want to watch it, uh, with you
guys. uh the idea that I have uh a
platform where we could watch a longer
form videos so we could watch all these
episodes at once. Um which is cool. In
between each episode, I'll probably have
um it uh pl uh we'll have a Q&A
um in between and shout outs, especially
shout outs for those who comment will
get a shout out. Uh so it'll be cool.
Um so yeah uh let's get started uh watch
the Crock-Pot show. So the first episode
let me share my screen
here. The first episode
here is
uh
no where am I showing it?
Uh where's my
layout? See for the technical
difficulties I should have couldn't
taken of this before but why
uh
see camera slot over here. I'm sorry
that's taking so long. Give me a second
and we'll put it
up.
Okay. And then
uh share the
screen.
Save
nine. Oh, wait. One second. What? What?
One second. One second.
Something's weird. Give me a second. Oh
gosh. This is the front. I'm so sorry
that I have to deal with this now. Save
update. Okay, here we go. Okay, fine.
So, let's go to the first episode. This
is with Ben Shapiro. Not Ben Shapiro.
No, I just fell for it. More Shapiro.
Okay. Um, I also believe this is the
same guy that did did the song Yum Yum,
which I heard of. But yeah, let's watch
this. All right.
Let's do this.
[Music]
I'm Lurkowitz. This is Crackpot. Our
first guest is Ben Shapiro.
[Music]
Thank you.
[Music]
It's not even his song.
[Music]
Thank you. Thank you for coming on the
show. Thank you. Thanks again. It's good
to have you here.
Um, what are you doing? What are you
doing?
Hello. What are you
doing? Couldn't get somebody normal over
here.
You're a big celeb in the Jewish music
biz if you will. Um,
so let me tell you start. You don't
mind.
Uh, what's the show called again? Oh,
Crockpot. We he challenge we get to know
each other and Cool. So, how when do you
know you wanted to become a celeb in the
industry? probably when I was seven
years old.
You sang with Schweki on stage, I
believe. Yeah. Yeah, we did Rahim
together, which was a big song at the
time. I believe it was Schweki who one
time tweeted that um being from and
famous is like a gift and a curse just
without the gift. Could you
like how do you feel about that?
You you had this huge hit music video.
It was like the biggest music video. You
had this you put it out with the song
Castle on the Hill where you're talking
about friends and your best friends and
business. What inspired you to make that
song? I don't It's not called Castle on
the Hill.
I was about to say what was called
Friends.
Did you see the video? Yeah. No, it's
called friends. You okay? Mayor Kay was
in that video. Yeah, my good friend.
You're friends with Mayor K. Yeah,
Mayor's a good buddy of mine. So, what
what's his number? He's
I don't know if he's comfortable with
me. Okay. Giving you his number. You had
a song called
Mahar. No, jumping around. Yeah. Thanks
for the umbrella. Yeah. And you had a
song like what's next? Esmo.
How do you feel right now? Did you come
up with that yourself? It's not
like you come up with that joke. Are you
okay? Like I mean I'm a little
uncomfortable. You know, maybe it's the
pad. Let's Let's be open with each
other. Do me a favor. Take Take off your
shoes. Take off your shoes. Okay. I'd
rather cold hand. They don't come off. I
get it. Yeah. Um candid off the record.
you um you had a song called Bahad,
right? And in the song you say, "I like
to ride my bike and I enjoy a
hike." What do you mean by
that? I think it the words are pretty
self-explanatory. So, it was not like
deep. It was just
like I like to ride my bike.
Like who writes the lyrics for these
English songs? Miriam Israeli writes
some of them. She wrote most of them
actually. You have any Americans write
any lyrics or no? Yeah. Um, shout out to
Miam Israeli. She's a great lyricist.
Um, she also composed a lot of songs,
but yeah, read some of them. She wrote
most of them actually. You have any
Americans write any lyrics or No. Do you
write any of your own lyrics? No. I
write melodies though. So when you said
you rode you like to ride your bike,
it's not yourself. No, Mary wrote that.
So she liked to ride her bike, I guess.
So you know, did it have a deeper
meaning? We want Why don't we have some
challenge? You want some challenge?
Um, I'm okay. Let's have this. This is
the show. Let's have some challenge.
Okay. Yeah.
Ow. Wow. Milmont
Kishka
notes
me
mouthwateringly
[Laughter]
galdic. Okay.
Okay.
So,
so Amen.
How did you get yours? Oh, you do like
P90.
I like to ride my bike and I enjoy a
hike. Okay, I see. All right. Okay, I
see. I see what you do. You do like I
mean you asked for a deeper meaning. I
don't want to bring this up like I don't
want to make you uncomfortable, but when
you were younger, you have siblings. You
have brothers, right? Yeah, I'm one of
seven youngest. Yeah. So, the Shapiro
brothers, you weren't you weren't Were
you Were you overshadowed by them? Like,
did you feel like you were No, it's not
my family. I mean, they're great, but
Shapiro Oh, so Snookie and Slumpy.
They're not your brother. No, my
brother. Do you have a smartphone?
Yeah, I do.
No, I do. I need it for business, you
know. Oh, you need it for business?
Yeah. You have a Is it filter or uh
Yeah.
If you just like look straight into that
lens over there, say remember kids,
filter up or wilter up.
Yeah. Could you just like look straight
into that lens and say, "I'd really
rather not."
Okay. You're supposed to be a Oh god.
killed guy and all.
Um.
Oh, this is great.
So, what would you say would be like
your lowest point of your career?
Probably. No. I'm sorry. What? Probably
not. Yeah. Right now. Know your place. I
don't need you to third wheel. You think
you're hilarious? I don't need you here.
This is not the show about you. Why do
you have to yell at him? You're You're
not stuck here with this guy for the
past three months. It's a It's a
buildup. It wasn't just like from the It

doing? What are you doing? Goodbye. Get
out of here. Get out of here.
Yeah, it was a great show.
You were offered by Charles Turret to do
modeling for them. Like you turned them
down. That's what I heard. Is that It's
not true.
Where did you hear that? I Okay.
I'm really hooked up and I have this
Nature Valley. Okay. I'm Yeah, Nature
Valley is great. I'm hooked
up. I thought that we can get a campaign
going for you. Okay. because I know
people I know music doesn't always bring
in all the pronounc you need and I don't
know if the camera could get this but I
thought this would be perfect if you you

Pes sometime.
Very very exciting stuff. Yeah. Yeah.
What are you doing? Like what are you
doing with your life? You're a singer.
You're running around. You have no
stability. You ever think like knock it
off, you know, go back to being normal,
get a day job like everybody else?
Excuse me, I need No, no. I'll be right
back.
[Music]
We got it. You sink. Want to finish this
up?
Your shirt's untucked.
We're trying to be professional over
here. All right. We put a lot of effort
in. Then why don't you even just tuck in
your shirt? So, you tell me what to do.
Why don't you ask me the question for
now? You go. You know what? See how easy
it is. Go. What's with that yamo?
Would you get that beard from the farm?
How much children do you eat? A lot.
Maybe you should consider hopping on a
bike once in a while. Yeah, you consider
hopping on a bike. Yeah. You know, I
like to Maybe you should consider I like
to ride my bike and I enjoy Maybe you
should Maybe you should consider hopping
back on the bus and going back to where
you came from. Just saying. You took a

I don't think it's Sh.
So much for positivity, huh? It's all
about positivity. Benny Freeman has more
inspirational songs than you do,
honestly. Where will you have any more
questions?
[Laughter]

day when I was racking my brains in the
back of the base medish. I said this a
million times. One day I'll be bumping
out the speakers of your Maximos and
I'll be cracking the bass. Yeah. And now
I got the beats that are making them
dance. Flows tighter than the world's
H&M pants. And now I got these ballot

[Music]
great. Wow.
[Music]
That's M by the way. That's just how he
did that as a
con. Welcome to Crackpot episode
three. We're here with Mal
Krisbull. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet
you. Um, Pruzanski. Pruzanski is the
name. That's what I said. M Pres. We're
here with Mahal Pzanski. Um, renowned
uh singer, artist, entrepreneur,
entrepreneur, philanthropist, father,
son, husband.
Not in that specific order. Thank you
again for coming on the show. You're
welcome. I heard from somebody that uh
that you're a flatearther. Is that true?
What's a flat earther?
I wasn't expecting you to ask me ask me
that. Just just doing some research. But
I think it's something to do with the
like like um like global
warming. I was on your I'm not
following.
If you're not following then I one time
heard a quote from Schwaki um he said
I'm not
following I'm a
leader is great he's a good friend of
mine
yet what's with
you jumping around stage doing a six
step doesn't sound like a seat out there
um how do you expect to make it in
industry.
Do you have like a special handshake you
do with other singers?
No.
Attitude is not really flying by me. So,
well,
frankly, I I didn't realize I'd be
going. You call me a prank. He I'll walk
out on you. I don't need to be here. You
called me. I don't need to be here.
Are you going to also do a Greatest
Showman ripoff like every other Jewish
singer?
When are you going to retire? When you
run out of Pruise names? Pruiseball.
Cruise control. What's next? Ted
Pruz. Funny. Did you ever have stage
fright? Did you ever struggle with stage
fright? I got a bit nervous sometimes
before a show. What do you do to to take
off the edge?
I'll just uh calm myself down. Got pump
myself up. And uh what in the world is
that? What is going
on? Meal mart. Not away from him. Away
from him. Meal mart. Uh s surprisingly
fresh. Magic in every
bite. Sorry. You took a huge hiatus for
like eight years between
cruise missile and and uh the latest one
uh no the last one was called Shooting
for the Moon. There was a amazing quote
from that song. I shoot for the moon but
I'm too busy gazing at stars. I feel
amazing and I'm not afraid to take a
stand. Everybody come take my
hand. I was blown away from that line.
The amount of energy, the creativity.
That's not the line. How do you deal
with the fame?
I deal with it. You know, it's you don't
What's funny for me is that I didn't
hear the song before, so I thought that
was the real words and he was going to
do a joke about it, but then he's like,
"That's not the line." I'm
like, like it's just funnier in that
aspect, too.
That's not the line. How do you deal
with the fame?
I deal with it. You know, it's uh you
don't get fed up. You don't you don't
walk the streets just waiting to be
rates done, just waiting for some
14-year-old brat to approach you with
with his little uh CD that he he
probably ripped. Stop going to land. You
know, people will run over to me. Oh,
you
[Music]
celeb. Anyway, friend of mine told me
that Bar one time had a quote. He said,
"Um, I'm thankful for every fan that I
get, but I can't use the bathroom
without someone standing by it. No, I
won't sign you an autograph. Call me an
axer. I'm glad because I am whatever you
say I
am." You're looking like you're not
happy to be here. I'm not I different.
So, what are you working on nowadays?
Um, I'm working on on a new single. It's
uh
called beautiful song. Um, it was
actually produced by Abby Numar and
arranged by Yan Yani. Wow. I forgot to
do this before. I'm sorry. I'm Pas
Lurkitz. This is the Crackpot Show. If
you like it, please subscribe up here.
If you don't like it, leave an angry
comment below. We'll we'll be sure to
read it. How your friends Mark and Ray
doing? What are you referring to? Show
me the
way story blah blah blah.
That's a beautiful song. What's new?
You're angry at the system.
No, no, no. That song a lot of people.
Yeah, I don't roll like that.
Back on the derek. Beautiful accolades
from all over the world from This is
what helps people get back on the D.
It's right here.
Okay. I've been in for 20 years. Not one
guy. You see, it's people like you that
make these kids go off the D in the
first place. You're judging me. You're
judging me right now. You take a
beautiful song like Show Me the Way and
and and so many kids have come back from
that song.
You have one of those counters on the
website like showing how many. But I've
gotten phone calls from people. They're
not not
pranks. I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm being very
um
ambiguous. It's a nice song. What do you
say to some to some
cho some
cho?
What? Smells
good. It's delicious. Best
believe only only the best.
Did you make it?
My wife made
it. I'm going to teach you something
that you won't learn on any cooking show
on any um on any of those Jewish shows
that try to
um when you're opening a chi mistake is
to take one of the top the the it's it's
called the swivel and swan.
You you shake it up enough to get the
steam up. Um and it gives you that it
gives you that
um you
know Thank you. Try it at home. You'll
be shocked. You have like a lot of
exotic cars. Maserati. Uh on one of your
uh music videos you had a a Bugatti.
That was another one of your What in the
world is going on here? Mil unexpectedly
Gavaldic.
It's okay. It's okay. It's fine. Just
sit down. You think this is funny? You
think this is all funny? You bring
singers on your show and this you dump
on them and you don't take your kicks,
right? No. No. It's okay. Sit down. How
do you like that? How do you like that?
How do you like that? Right. Does that
feel good? How' that feel? Does that
feel good? Cuz that's what you show
people on your show. Get out of here.
Get out of here. What's wrong with you?
Wish wish Charlie a rar when I need
him. Hey,
listen. This whole thing is I I I I
tried my whole life to get into the
music industry. I have a golden
voice and
just I thought maybe I'll give it a shot
getting into the industry by
interviewing celebs and then maybe I
could I can just get a second shot at
it. So, I didn't mean to come off as
Chris.
I didn't mean to come off like that. Can
Can we Can I just give it a shot? Can we
try to Let's do a duet together. Go
ahead.
Y, you know what to do.
Shabos.
[Music]
It's terrible.
Um, clearly you're not cut out for for
music or
hosting. Thanks. You make a mean shot.
Where's some colina when we need them?
I won't be coming back.
Where do these come from? Why is he so
sensitive? I don't know. So, so
basically when I was 12 years old, um I
sang
like and my said you're very good singer
but like the other guys sing whatever.
So that's my change of secret. I said
going fulltime music. So now I'm like,
you know, I don't need this guy. They
have like big names. You don't want to
talk with David K. I don't have Mary K's
number. Call me like any day now. You
know, Betty Freeman, man.
I'm If you like what you saw, subscribe
below. Um, and for more content, uh, if
you don't like what you saw and you and
you feel triggered, then, uh, leave an
angry comment and,
uh, get some help. You
know, people are, uh, people are hurting
out there. Charlie once said, "When
you're hurting, it's the biggest
opportunity to grow. If you're tackle
feeling down, call
1877498." That's grow with a y g y r o.
And um for milk,
these are
great. These are just pushing
[Music]
great. Oh, great. Oh
gosh. Oh, I didn't think I would have
this much fun. Oh, these are great. All
right, time for Q&A and shout outs
before we get to the next episode. Shout
out to Zman. Thank you Zman for joining.
Do you like this style show? I do kind
of like it. I didn't I I didn't expect
it to like it because it's also very
dry. There's no music. There's no like
things going happening, but when you
have the right person like this guy
doing it, it's
perfect. Do you think they rehearsed?
No. I think they I think he just said,
"Hey, I'm just gonna go with the flow
and you just rough off rough off me."
They probably paused here and there
like, "Oh, you know what you should do?
You should like take that, let's say for
like ML Preszanski, take that bucket of
of candy and just dump it on me." And I
I think I don't think anybody's
rehearsed really. If it is, I wouldn't
be surprised though. Which singer would
you also have liked to see on the show?
Oh.
Um, Benny Freeman would probably be fun.
If they somehow got Aan Free to consent
to doing this, that would be amazing.
And I would so be there for a frey's
humor. It It would be amazing. What
person would dread being on this show?
Would probably be Jesse
Green. That would be great. All right.
Any more shout outs or comments,
questions?
All right, next to next episode.
[Music]
Oh, they added the rap.
This is This is it. Yeah.
Come down the ladder. Just have a Thanks
for coming. Have a seat.
[Music]
We're here with
uh Crock-Pot episode
4. We're here with some Coliner. Just a
a little
introduction. Uh a lot of people say
that his music is just for high school
girls trying to find themselves.
Thank you.
So, you're from Liquid, right?
[Music]
Tom. That was my favorite.
[Laughter]
So, you're from Lakewood, right? Tom
Server. That's not It's not the same
thing. No. It's like telling a Clifton.
You could tell like he like it's as if
like he's heard from other celebrities
that Yeah. This is the one show you
wouldn't want to do and he's like
sitting there uncomfortably. It's
perfect. In person they live in Pacific.
I always thought it's pretty much the
same thing just that you can return
stuff to land.
You were on the cover of Amy magazine,
right? Yeah. Who did your makeup?
I heard you're you're launching a
cosmetic company called Sima Eyeliner.
Do you play an instrument? I try. No.
Shaki once said, "I don't play
instruments. Instruments play me."
That's very insightful. Should make a
like a bumper sticker.
Let's talk about your first hit. What
was it? Fourth, fifth grade English
teacher. Rebby. Who did it? I think it
was a babysitter. Wow. Yeah. Somebody
told me that you were actually some Are
you married? I am married.
I have to I have to call my cousin back.
I heard you tried to lose for autism and
you won. Don't judge me. How do you deal
with this? You just have to respond with
humor and sensitivity because there's
clearly something that's bothering them.
That's not what the IDF said when I
asked them.
What was wrong with called ID? Why' you
have to actually interesting point you
were asking how to respond to haters,
right? A lot of people hate it. So you
can't sing a song from Sher.
So you're a singer, artist, father, and
elates.
No, I'm just saying it actually looks
really good. Got looking watered down.
Hear that sound? It's like sizzle.
Amazing. for for
for sizzle. My meal
[Laughter]
martil get blown away by every bite.
night when I first heard your song um
stand up when I saw on YouTube I thought
it's like some coler standup I was like
oh wow I hear some stand up coliner I
clicked it it's like oh there voices
like let me tell you about like another
here goes another guy he's charading
around thought to come with something
original wanted to get you on the show
specifically because I've been reading a
lot of the comments and a lot of people
are saying oh you're a bully I'm
assuming all
the bullies like all the negative most
likely Yeah. What do you say to some
cholesterol?
You know I'm a vegetarian though. Yeah.
Yeah. You had some colada one sana 2 3.
What's next? Slana 4.
That would probably make sense. Not
getting. It's not happening. He's not
coming show. Could you you think you get
that knockoff guy? What's the name? Umi.
How am I?
No, I'm a big fan. Okay.
Big fan.
What would you say was your
biggest in the music industry? Probably
the lack of sleep.
Lack of sleep.
What?
I can't help but feel like someone's
leaking something because I was working
on a um an anti-bullying campaign
myself. The day before I was supposed to
put out my song and my initiative, you
just put out your song. Wow. Do you mind
if I play it for you? I'd love I'd love
to hear it.
Cue the cue the song. Diego.
[Music]
[Laughter]
[Music]
It's very clever. I
try but I'm just not
there. What am I telling?
[Music]
The guy's dominating in the
[Laughter]
background. It's very moving.
So, you know what's good about this
film? You never have that like
completely awkward silence.
Can you I don't read on me. So, can you
give me like a little bit of background
of your anti-bullying initiative? What
do you do? What do you do besides put
out music videos and make money off it?
Like what exactly are you trying to do
to stop
[Laughter]
We bring awareness to
children that they have the power to
stand up against a kid who's being a
bully. That's for the children, for
adults.
Are you kidding me right now?
Number two, like this morning on the way
over here, we stopped off at a one of
many schools that we stop in. a team.
When I say we, it's just me. But I don't
want to sound uh like Elmo. You do? What
does it look like? You go to the school
and what happens? Well, I walk into the
classroom and I look at each and every
boy. I say
so happy to see you.
Ma, what was that?
You're like, let's pretend I'm a bully.
You You're eating your lunch. I come
over. Hey, you punk rock. Hey, you punk
rock. You punk rock. You punk rock. Hey,
you punk. You little punk. You little
You little punk. You see he's about to
break. So, I would then Your music
stinks.
I never was a fan.
I would then tell
me myself because I'm being bullied.
Don't listen to what this guy is saying.
So besides for all that lib talk with
the bullying and stuff, what what do you
find that's most fulfilling about being
in the industry?
Oh,
you're sorry.
What? Yeah. What would you say was the
highlight of your career besides for the
highlights that like not makeup, the
highlight of your career music wise?
Probably when I met um your idol for the
first time,
what was he like? What was he like?
Would you call him later with me? Maybe.
Reus, if you're seeing this, I love
you and please write me
back. My my she needs money. Love
you. Could you just do me a favor? Could
you Could you hold this? Turn it to the
camera and
say sayar brings me some
Look, you bring me some coffee. Thank
you.
Yeah. Yes, you can. You know something?
Before I had you on the show, I was very
apprehensive. Big word um for my art
scroll west side. Uh before before
coming on the show, I was very
apprehensive and very nervous like I
have this like anti-bullying guy. He's
gonna give me he's going to cramp my
style. It's not true at all. Happens.
This is the most positive experience and
uh I really am surprised in a good way,
not to take it in the wrong way, and I I
really I feel great right now. Amazing.
No, no, no, no, no. I only brought one
shirt.
Thank you. All right.
Find this
guy. I had to put it back down. I'm
like, we're here with
some liner.
Just some we're here with just some
coler. And for all myish uh Yiddish
speaking furry little
friends, great.
That was amazing. Oh
gosh, that was
great. Ah, that was great. But my
favorite so far is still uh Mal Pzanski.
That was still my
favorite. Okay. Uh shout outs and
Q&As's. Please guys comment uh showing
that you are with us on the live stream
so uh we could see uh give a shout out
and answer your questions. Zman, thank
you for still being here. When are you
having your first interview? Well,
you're going to have someone ask someone
to interview
me. But yeah,
uh yeah, going to have to do that.
Anyone else for other shout outs or
comments? All right, we're going to move
on. It looks like the final episode.
Hopefully not, cuz these are great. All
right,
what are you Wuhan?
I'm I'm having second thoughts. I I just
No. I need a little time. I do. I do. I
need I need I need a Okay. Did I miss
anything? Except the Corona virus. Not
much. Isaac. Isaac. Okay. Isaac. Yeah.
Where's your Where's your chair? What
are you doing? I'm going to get
comfortable. Okay. Just I'm trying to
get into my advice in the in the
harness. Enough about the harness. Yoni
Z. Not everything's about you. You
celebs are a little bit caught in your
own little bubble. You give me up up up
up up up up up up up up up up up up up
up. Give me some space. Let me get into
my vibes. I'm also chilled. I'm also hip
millennial.
I got that. Check it. Check your Apple
smartwatch.
It's not. Did you check your Apple
smartwatch for dark?
[Music]
Welcome back to uh Crockpot season
2. We're back with a new positive vibe.
It's going to be very positive this
time. We're here today with Yoni
Zaklawi. Goes by his stage name.
It's um Zagelbam, but that's okay. I
mean, weren't I heard you as you're not
as smart? Half. You have a record with
names, don't you?
So, I always thought you're just like a
dark roast schulum le. I didn't have
your uh
So, you're like one of those black and
white cookies.
Yeah. More that than a dark roast
scholum. Yeah. I was born and raised and
consider myself a bad neck. Yeah.
Anybody have a pen?
So, you said you're
Yeah. Why?
What's the deal?
Wow. Okay.
So, tell me, what was it like growing up
as a uh growing up in a kabad community?
Were you a mash? Did you have to be a
mash or um you know well it's a actually
um that's what I said. Yeah. Right. But
we're trying to keep the show hip and
hish. Okay. We wanted to keep it hip.
Last time the first season we were a
little bit squeaky. We were a little bit
schy. We want to keep it very hip. Talk
a little bit about the history before
you got into the Jewish music scene. Um
let's talk a little bit about your
hip-hop mixtapes. Yeah. Uh, the hard kak
life. Land that was legends. Let's talk
about your song. I ain't a killer but
don't shush me. I never had a rap phase.
Maybe you're confusing me with someone
else.
Never had rap phase. Do you feel like
the kabad the kabadsters run the Jewish
music industry? Yeah, I mean we have our
fair share of cool cats.
I we also have cool rats by the lit um
cats like it's a sign. If you don't want
you mind if I just interrupt you. How
did you get into the Jewish music
business? Your grandfather Adam Freed or
your uncle Benny Freeman your cousin.
You're not feeling well. Do you go get a
Yoni Zpack?
No, I go to the doctor. Before you
became famous, were you just clone easy?
Then what if somebody rips you off? And
are they are they phone easy? If you had
a twin brother, that's funny. Clone
easy.
Yeah. If you worked in an ice skating
rink, would you be called Yoni Zamboni?
Maybe. Perm. You drink Yoni Zinfendo?
If you had a whip, would you be uh
Indiana Yoni? If you did a lot of Gri,
you'd be stone easy. I have a little
trauma from my childhood. Like people
used to call me yoni baloney and so I'm
not
[Laughter]
so cringe. This is so bullet. You only
do you sometimes wish that maybe some
Colina was around when you were a child
so maybe you wouldn't have gotten
bullied this much?
That's an interesting thought.
I'm sorry. I just I never interviewed a
kabadster before. I just don't I don't
You should come to Crown Heights
sometime. It's pretty hip and hish
place if you know what I mean. I've been
there. I've been to I've been there
before. Good friends with Benny Freeman.
Actually, Freddy Freeman.
Speaking of Speaking of Freddy Freeman,
um you've been dropping a lot of singles
lately. Yeah, I'm not talking about your
music. I'm talking about your you know,
you're you're still dating. Am I right?
Oh, that
is When did this episode come out? Five
years ago. Oh my gosh.
Yeah, but he just got like married like
last week or two weeks ago. Uh, tell me
on the chat if I got that right. He got
married like last week or two weeks ago.
Gosh, this guy is so crazy. I was told
you're picky.
Are we going to do this thing where you
um do chanting during the show? I
noticed that the pod is not even plugged
in.
No, that's cuz it's Bluetooth enabled.
crackpot.
So, so much for your millennial juice. I
I mean I I want to give it my all. So,
I'm here. And is that lyrics from one of
your songs?
No. People say you're
like, you know,
there's
obviously Reets Yoni Z.
Was I above or below? I'm just curious.
You're not. No, it just degrades. I feel
like most uh from, you know, Jewish
music artists, I feel like the music
videos get repetitive every time. There
they are again at the Belt Parkway on
the water with
their scarf blowing in the wind over
there with their emotional, you know,
you were able to really take it to
another level with your music. Thank
you. Yeah. I mean, I I feel like, you
know, the Jewish music world deserves
entertainment on a legit level, and I've
been trying to provide that, you know,
through videos, through this music, and
just really, you know, me and a couple
of others that have kind of taken the
initiative. Uh, so you're good buddies
with God Albas, right? Didn't he did
this the soundtrack for The Lawn King?
No, that was that was him. No,
I don't I'm not sure.
And you're also friends with let's say
Schum. So you're you're very diverse,
very hip. I guess it's my mixed
heritage. Um that kind of allows me to
blend into many different cultures and
music about the if only if you're
comfortable. Can we talk about the
necklace uh the bracelet you're wearing
on your arm? Um sure. Yeah. Um it's a
red kam. You know what does it do? um
supposed to protect you
from so I wear it. That's hip. It's very
So you're able to accomplish you're
really able to have the hip and hamish
attitude and at the same time be an
accomplished Jewish music artist and you
don't see that anywhere else. You feel
that wears, you know, 180s. It's unique.
It's different. But yeah, to be able to
be hip, to be able to be
hish at the same time, I haven't seen
that anywhere else in the Jewish music
scene. I appreciate that. Thank you. It
was a question.
Um, it's all about balance, I guess. You
know, you got to kind of equilibrium.
It's important. It's crucial, actually.
It's not. We're not on the same page on
this. Just don't. By the way, I Where
have you been? I heard you were living
in a gated community. Is that what you
heard?
Through the grape vine. Through the
grapevine. Yeah. I think you got to lay
off the grape vine. You used to karate
classes as a kid. I I I never No, it's
not. It wasn't a question. I'm just I'm
saying use like it's it makes sense.
Let's talk about your song as Kyle.
Okay. For a minute. I don't have an Asia
Kyle. That was a trick question. I know
you don't have Kyle. Oh god. We actually
wanted to set you up with um somebody.
Okay. Is she Isaac? Is she here? Is she
here? Isaac. Oh no. She doesn't want to
come. You You're like a mixed breed.
You're like Kabad Ashkenazari. I mean,
you're like a Sha bias kle. You should
be going out with everybody. What do you
like?
I just haven't found the right one yet.
It has nothing to do with you. It's
nothing personal. Yeah. Yeah. You are my
boss. I I was selling them outside and
my boss and it's nothing personal. You
just keep breaking the pithms. Sorry
about that. Really? It's not like that.
I'm sorry about that. It's not you, it's
me. Yeah. Is that what you tell all your
dates? Oh, what do you do you
meal mart?
Is that a problem? No. No. No. Hard
feelings much? Yeah. Too soon. You feel
like I could ever be a hip hip. Well, I
think I mean, you know, the beard is a
great hip start.
I want to pass. You want to pass this
rap?
I like to walk down the street and I
want this.
Thank you, Tadic.
Pastnish raps. It's not a song. It's
gluten-free.
Look, I don't want to get political. I
don't like to keep get like political on
the show or anything. I like to start
stay as far away as politics as I do.
But what do you what do you think of
Trump?
Hello. He's on the phone. Wait, Evan
Freed could come on the
show. Okay. So, Tom, could he come?
Could he come today?
He could come now. Okay. One second.
Okay. Thanks for coming. Show. I
appreciate it. Serious right now. Thank
you. I'll see. Well, thank you.
I need a I I need uh details on him
