[Music] is we're back here in aventur at during our weekly sh in our series of the era of mashia based on a seph by Shalom uh it's a um extraordinary series I know I'm getting a lot of kuk out of it a lot of uh uh good things are uh being shared around the world with this uh series and uh the key for us to uh maintain it you know not just to learn at one time but M to uh to maintain the and uh this is actually one of the things that I spoke to with my R today is that it's a uh our generation is is such that uh if you don't constantly repeat over and over the things it's a the works very hard to constantly looking at everybody else you know oh you know he has a better job than me that's why he has this he's better looking she's better this no no don't look at anybody look at you and make your decisions based on you because that's what you're going to be judged on you're not going to be judged in sh of why you weren't mhu because you're not mosu one of the of the was one day caught by one people that are not evaluating to other the right way uh where we think that uh you know maybe uh some Guru from India that has some uh skid marks on his forehead maybe he has some words of wisdom for me maybe this uh Ted Talk has some wisdom for me especially the two females that recently said that uh you know there's now several uh preferences in the uh sexual life there's the homosexual there's the heterosexual and there's the pedophile it's a it's a new thing meaning you should just accept the fact that people are pedophiles that's their preference a TED Talk a TED Talk they were given the stage two different women two different idiots were given a front stage to tell people that pedophilia it's a preference most of us feel discomfort when we think about pedophiles but just like pedophiles we are not responsible for our feelings we do not choose them but we are responsible for our actions and we must make a decision it is in our responsibility to reflect and to overcome our negative feelings about pedophiles and to treat them with the same respect we treat other people with we should accept that pedophiles are people who have not chosen their sexuality and who unlike most of us will never be able to live it out freely if they want to lead an upright life we should accept that pedopilia is a sexual preference statistics indicate that there will be one or two of you who are struggling with some form of pedophilic Interest these people can't talk about their feelings because they know that they will be hated for it I truly do believe that every person is longing for Love at some point in their life and what if this love that you really wish for will forever be impossible that must be a really lonely situation to be in yes from an emotional point of view I can kind of understand that you want to would want to eliminate these people from society however it doesn't make make sense and that's because we're talking about biology we're talking about a sexual orientation something that we simply cannot change and on top of that every day new people are born with the same difficulty so it's not practical to eliminate these people from society they haven't done anything wrong it's like the fools that say no I was born gay I was born gay no you were born a human you just act like an animal because you don't want to restrain yourself and that's the problem when we view the foreign wisdoms as if they're equivalent to the Torah we simply are not only disrespecting the Torah but we're guaranteed to fall prey to these fools and to think that they maybe have something good to see that I can learn from but the truth be told is that everything that's of any value is inside and in today's world very few truly understand it and the reason why is because you cannot arrive at that conclusion without toiling in Torah without going and breaking your head to go learn when you're tired to go learn when you don't have time to go learn when you're struggling with a million and a half different things to go learn when it's difficult in every other aspect because everyone thinks no no I'm going to learn when I have a get when I get a chance but never puts the two and two together where to learn some Ted Talk on the internet for 40 minutes I always have time somehow to go learn some uh scientific video that's really unverified especially some of the strange things they say about how the world was created I always have time to do that I always have time to go watch watch videos about ducks crossing the road and maybe a few Penguins too I always find time for that but anytime that I want to learn T suddenly things happen suddenly I'm tired suddenly my wife needs my attention suddenly my kids are crying suddenly my back hurts suddenly this suddenly that people don't put that two and two together the reason why to to study the foreign wisdoms although some do have a value although some do have some some good in them yet helps you so he's not going to disturb you what do you want to go study science you want to go watch Ducks you want to go dissect a cow or maybe a frog together go I'll help you I'll make time all of a sudden no one's going to call you for three hours straight what you want to watch a marathon of uh Netflix shows that are going to bring you g tomorrow okay you go we're going to give you 12 hours in a row no one's going to call you no one's going to talk to you and everything's going to work perfect while you're watching every show one after another wasting your life but the set can you press play for that could change your life for the next hour and a half or two suddenly the whole world collapses all of a sudden the phone rings everyone wants your attention everything why the doesn't want you to learn to him someone once asked me a question and he said I have a tough time going to sleep and because of that I don't waake wake up in the morning to go pray on time you know I go pray so what time you wake up so I wake up like 11: 11:30 I said okay so there's a mish about you it says that someone that uh sleeps like that is guaranteed to go to G so I need a solution I'm not ask you I know you scared me already enough point is how do I deal with it I can't go to sleep at night ah I said you want a solution okay I said get an alarm he I have an alarm I said ask somebody to wake you up he goes n everybody's already out of the house I said so you really looking for the best solution in the world guaranteed to work he said yeah I said you want to go to sleep what time you want to go to sleep he said I want to go to sleep 10:00 I said okay 10:00 on the dot open open you'll see your sleep like a baby at 10:01 101 your sleep with a baby cu it's boring but rather because the Satan rather you go to sleep he only want you to stay awake when you're not learning to you're not learning to stay awake till 6 o'clock in the morning without being tired you're watching Ducks you're playing video games Sho what else you're watching out there at those times of the Night Never tired but to learn to no no tired tired open Watch you're sleeping like a little baby you're sleeping like a little baby a minute later why cuz the knows that's the potion that's going to destroy him and if we take that into account and we start realizing all of the supernatural things that are happening to us on a day-to-day basis as a result of the Torah you simply realize there's just simp no way no way to compare secular wisdom to the Torah dealt with one of the most difficult things that the freedom for us to have like a piece of mind I could just relax on on my couch never as a nation we've always had issues but yet what happened over the last couple of hundred years is surely one of the Judaism all started with a simple statement of be a Jew at home and a regular person outside why is it such a big deal why can't I just be like everybody else outside and in my religiosity my my all of the different religious things that I do why can't I just keep them private you see when a person wants to keep his Judaism private when he's afraid to wear a keep when she's afraid to wear a that's a desecration of the Torah why you're embarrassed of hasem that means you don't understand the value of what you have you're embarrassed of the king of kings now imagine you have a little kid now this kid is not easy to raise why he wants to eat every few minutes and when he's not eating he wants to play and be between playing and eating he also has to relieve himself of the things he ate and if that's not enough he wants some attention and if that's not enough he cost a lot of money if that's not enough he can't help himself yeah you have to change him you have to feed him you have to play with him he can't he's not self-sufficient and if that's not enough he doesn't like to sleep either he wants to wake up at 2:00 in the morning 2:30 2:45 3:15 350 360 all types of times whenever he feels like it what about your schedule that you have to wake up the next day in the morning doesn't really make a difference he's just simply going to cry until you get out of the bed and take care of whatever need he has even if it's simply getting his little Binky and put it in his mouth it's fine thanks you don't even get that yet now this kid you're going to kill yourself with this kid because you love this kid and you're investing so much in this kid and he's going to grow up and he's going to be grow more expensive because there's new toys and new clothes and new this and new that and there's just more stuff and but he's cute thank God Hashem made them cute now as you keep growing with this cute little kid and he starts asking you questions and some of them make you feel uncomfortable like ABA how come you're doing this and you never thought he saw you say that and all of a sudden one of the words that you said when you were mad he all of a sudden used it as his daily vocabulary you only used the one time because you got really upset cuz somebody ripped you off but he's using it like it's bambba like he doesn't realize that it's not bambba and all of a sudden this little kid is mimicking you at the most embarrassing moments especially when you have guests a said how come are these the you were talking about that don't wear any [Applause] clothes ABA who are these go who are these go ABA no they're not go they're not go they're Jewish people but you said people that don't have cloes they embarrassing moments in this kid you have to explain so you want to bury yourself now what do you you love the kid so you keep helping and helping doing disciplining right not the least you expect this kid to just be grateful to be a good kid go to school do his homework say thank you yeah what do you expect now imagine you invested everything you have now the expenses continue to grow you say you know what I'm going to go borrow money pay interest to some bank and to make sure this kid has the best education has the healthiest food has the best community to live in I'm going to do everything possible to get this kid to have a better life than I did and you go borrow money to just get this kid to sleep and to eat and to bathe and everything at the best possible way and you're doing it day and night and you're not stopping and you're not sleeping and sometimes you work a second or a third shift just to make sure you could pay this loan and you keep going and he's 12 and he's 13 and he's 15 he's 17 he's 18 and now he decides you know what I'm going to go I'm going to leave the house I'm going to leave the house and he said okay son where you want to live I'm going I'm going to live uh about three hours away ABA oh okay all right all right uh what's your phone number no no I'll call you I'll call you why why you going to call me I'll call you don't worry I gotta go ABA I gotta go I gotta go okay you okay fine all right can you give me the address I'll let you know I'll let you know I'll write you six months past a year past you haven't heard from this kid all you did for 18 years is sweat blood for this kid you haven't heard from him you see at 12:00 you knock on the door and nobody's there like ah man okay I'm going to wait for him here I'm going to wait for him and as soon as you turn around you see your kid walking around hey everybody's laughing everybody's laughing then he looks he's like guys hold on a second AB what are you doing here what are you doing here I didn't I told you not to come I told you not to come ABA why you embarrassing me why you embarrassing me I'm with my friends ABA no come on old man you got to go you bring the money at least guess what guys this stuff happens every day you know what happens green to a place that teaches things that are against the Torah even if it's full of Jews like they call a m school or these these are Jewish schools not Yeshiva what does it mean Jewish school well we teach secular studies for 7even hours and then we tell them something about the par for like 20 minutes a half hour a day that's what we call a Jewish school there's nothing Jewish about it you send your kid to such a school or better yet to a public school in America or any one of these other countries or a public school in Israel secular studies all day and T studies all day where they recently added to the curriculum in the secular schools in Israel anyone that wants to learn T can watch this show and you can learn the biblical stories of Moshe Aon David schl oh what show is this it's a comedy show AEM is that makes fun of the Torah in every way shape and form that's what they're telling the little kids that's where you go learn toah from a show that has mosenu impersonated by sending their Jewish kids to go learn toah so it's not just being surrounded by gu meaning Gentiles gu meaning the mentality or better yet if the school is one of these so-called religious schools where it has it's religious but just a name in theory it's religious why because it violates as soon as you enter how it has boys and girls in the same exact building sharing classes this is forbidden according to the tah boys and girls are not allowed to study together why do I need to explain it do I need to explain it boys and girls not to learn to together not all to learn anything together any school that calls themselves religious but has boys and girls it's not a religious school same thing as public school in my opinion it's worse why because at least in the public school you know that you're a over there you still think you're a Jew you're more confused I personally think there are more kids coming out atheist out of these mixed schools than coming out of public Public Schools but the point being AB is these schools are forbidden no matter what they have and there's a rabbi there like people think if there's some guy with a beard he's a rabbi so you send your kids to a school like this you send your kids to a modern Orthodox school where they teach you things like the principal over here down the street he had a video online telling people listen you know that is we don't financial aid because you still have the car that you had when you actually had money so they think you still have money but you're just hiding it or whatever it is they'll throw your kid out oh perhaps if you're not the same tradition that they are you know there we don't like you know what out out and many times this stuff happens all this Prejudice all this all this gross Behavior but what's the really is if a person cannot afford to send their kid to go learn toah the entire Community is obligated to go raise money you can go learn toah you're never allowed to throw a kid out ofah because of money never you're only allowed to throw a kid out OFA if he's ruining other kids and he tried fixing and it's just not fixable there are some kids like that rotten kids but even those kids even those kids they're not rotten for no reason something happened point being this whole issue of oh no I can't afford to send my kiss to Yesa according to the Torah ridiculous now unfortunately what the problem is is that sometimes there are people and more than sometimes that can not only afford to send a kid and to pay a full fee for Yesa but they could also afford two or three vacations a year they could also afford to gamble on the weekends 5 $10,000 on maybe on some Lakers games maybe on some football games maybe put 5,000 on black here and there maybe go play some Texas hold them on a Tuesday night you know they have money for that but when it comes to Yesa to come up with $4,000 a month to pay for the kids tuition for a few kids no no listen it's tough business we need a discount we got three kids so it's because of them the whole system is corrupt why it's not just because of the rabbis and it's m no no it's because people are unfair they look at the Torah as just something to do it's good but it's not really worth the money go play 5,000 on on Blackjack that's worth the money go to some place on the beach for 10,000 that's worth it but to go teach my kids Torah for a month for for th000 $2,000 no it's not worth it it's because of people like this the system is corrupt it's a two-way street there's issues with yes There's issues with the parents There's issues everywhere the only way we could address uh deal with these issues and fix them if we address them first now but the beautiful thing is that there was Major progress done by a simple man it
