The Chazandil

Cantors Nissim Saal and Colin Shachat perform “Hallelujah” (הללויה), the celebrated cantorial composition by the legendary Cantor Yossele Rosenblatt, conducted by Eli Jaffe. The words are drawn from Psalm 113, beginning with the joyous proclamation: “Hallelujah! Praise, servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.” Rosenblatt’s setting brings these words of praise to life with extraordinary musical expression, combining joy and grandeur with the drama, virtuosity, and unmistakable character of the golden age of chazzanut. In this performance, Cantors Nissim Saal and Colin Shachat bring their voices together in a stirring rendition of this timeless cantorial masterpiece, under the direction of conductor Eli Jaffe. 🎵 Hallelujah – הללויה 🎼 Composed by Cantor Yossele Rosenblatt 🎤 Performed by Cantors Nissim Saal & Colin Shachat 🎼 Conducted by Eli Jaffe החזנים ניסים סאל וקולין שחט מבצעים את היצירה החזנית המפורסמת "הללויה", מאת החזן והמלחין האגדי יוסלה רוזנבלט, בניצוחו של אלי יפה.
