The cellar! A beautiful new wine store in Lakewood

i'm sure you all know this building right by brook road and east county line yeah such exciting news coming over there but yet the seller i think it's a great name a new beautiful unique wine store opening up over here mama right i think it's a perfect time opening up right before pirim paisek to fiscal tell us about your new store tell us about who you are introduce yourself our luck spicer nice to meet you everybody out there this is the cellar there's a new place you want to come to in lakewood on east county line road um this place is going to be awesome everyone's going to come and feel welcome you're gonna have a wonderful wine experience here we have everything that you need in a wine store all curated all specifically for you so we have all different types of wine as you can see we're filling up the shelves oh no i wanna show you something not on the shelf yet okay but we made our own wine specifically in different places around the world that we wanted to showcase in the store for years so this is unique blend yeah we made this ourselves just our store this is called viniferia it's our italian super tuscan from 2018 we have from italy california we have mexico we have the best ones coming here specifically to the store look wow how gorgeous it is in here okay i see that i love the cubicle the shells you got the cubicles you see the wall back there it's fantastic look at this so cool so who designed as well so we have a special guy who designed the whole place so ben weber designed everything i'm saying it's been ben oh wow look at this some of the better lines ben explain us about a little bit about you played the the truthfully i did not design this fully myself i actually had 3d interiors from muncie uh helped me design this or actually they designed it and i had my input this is actually torched wood ends it's an accent wall where we had eight inch by eight inch pieces of wood different depths wow just with plain blow torch torching the end and assembled on the wall and then we waited another piece hanging downwards in order to blend in the register and the lights and everything and the wall and to bring it closer to home okay what can you explain about the cubicle see something different like all the wine stores so i'll show you like we have basically we're trying to showcase right so we have a lot of wines that we're trying to showcase here um right now as you can see we're putting up stuff like the cave we're putting up stuff like petite um filter from segels or we have matar cb we're trying to showcase the wine you see how we did this with the lights right yeah yeah so it's really shining the light we're not the stars the wine or the stars so you guys come in you see the wines also we're gonna have the spirits which we obviously didn't put in just yet but they're on their way as well um we have a fantastic spirit session we're trying to cultivate some really nice stuff that's not just i see um aria i see there's a fridge over there what is that the fridge okay let's talk about the fridge so we have three fridges here we put together as one we designed specifically for this we're gonna have luxury items what does that mean chocolate from france imported olive oil cheese dips maybe some charcuterie we're working on basically the stuff to make you feel good you come here you get a bottle of wine you get something to eat you feel good right so that's part of the experience oh it looks like you have a lot of experience in the wine yeah i've been doing this for years um i've been working with you for years i do distribution i worked in retail um i do importing i do the whole sign also what i've done my spare time just for fun um i got some licensing in the wine world so like wine professional licensing from a place called wset which is wine spirit education trust um so yeah we work through that i mean it's a two to three year process but it's it's exciting i promise i forgot to mention one thing that i wanted to tell you i want to tell everybody out there also the way that we designed these cubbies is we designed them to really fit the wine perfectly right they're specifically wine designed they're not just commercial cubbies they're made specifically right so you take a bottle like this like 1848 right as you can see we lied them down in the back right we let it sit now show us one bottle oh wow so you see how they're all lying down so you have a little case down here you want the case we'll take it out for you no problem but we have them lying down here especially ready for you to go when you come in but why is it this way why is it not standing so we wanted to do a lying down because one's better when it's lying down uh obviously we'll plan on moving all these cases you're gonna come in and buy it come on but at the same time we like that they're lying down it's better for the wine that way okay so we did it that way fran there's one thing i forgot to mention i also wanted to tell you um you see all the way up there the window yeah so i'm so excited about that i actually remember when it wasn't there and we're like let's build something up there it's gonna be amazing so come let me show you what's going on you like how there's dark on the walls right yeah cellar right through the cellar look at donna woken up it's like i woke up but maybe you think you're walking down into the cellar so that's okay all right so we're gonna put a nice big seller door here for the actual cellar door and then up here we're gonna have education we're gonna have classes we're gonna do wine everything and everything tasting tasting you're gonna learn about wine we have classes we have education we're gonna have some library wines in here in library spirits to be able to find them here we have a nice beautiful table in here so everyone can come they can learn about wine they can enjoy wow i want you to do we want you to bring your corks so we can fill this area up down here of course you're the name of the signature yeah sorry like a signature wall come on in show the show and we'll throw it down there for you great the last thing i want to show you just so you know we go all out for all our customers come on to the back let's see this baby that we got this nice new engraving machine we're gonna do engravings here and take care of you guys don't
