The Bible condones slavery?! Guess again

people love to blame the Bible for slavery but it's ridiculous everyone in that time of the Canaanites had slaves slaves was just part of society and saying slavery is evil and the Bible cond do slavery all the Bible's doing and we're talking about the Torah is giving like massive amounts of laws of if you wind up having a slave in your possession you must treat him this way you got to you got to take care of him first you got to feed him first you got to make sure he has where to sleep in fact if you have one bed the slave gets the bed it's how to take care of them and the ultimate thing was to free him and if you freed him he wasn't just a free man he got to be part of the Jewish people completely he was included immediately into Jewish Jewish life in instantaneously with no recognition whatsoever of him being a slave as we're always told to remember that we were slaves in Egypt before we were freed
