During a gathering with supporters, the Rebbe encouraged those assembled to begin teaching: if you know something, share something. Inspired by this message, Mr. Samuel Rohr began giving a class on the weekly Torah portion. Teaching it pushed him to truly understand the material, learn it well, and opened up a whole new level of insight and appreciation. Later, he came to thank the Rebbe: “In my entire life, I’ve never studied as much as I do today.” Sometimes, the best way to learn is by sharing with others.
