so strong and also figure things out okay our kids are 5 and 1/2 3 and two so I cannot say that we figured absolutely anything out many parents and understandably so they won't allow the kids to pour the drink because it's going to they're going to spill over and over again wonder and create a massive create a massive mess um but unfortunately when you don't allow him so then he's not going to develop that skill earlier so you're waiting until he develops that skill meaning the enough stability in their hands uh to be able to pour the drink without spilling um and when you do that teaches them okay when you have this skill then you can perform that task uh as opposed to allowing them to Spill and learn from spilling the drink how to stabilize the drink and eventually to pour the drink which is the real way to learn anything I think that's how is learned with the we both had a very like hands-off eyes approach and like probably from like one half too he was pouring his own drinks spilling everywhere and now he's five and he easily pours his own stuff and and I noticed by the way at the meal that uh you know somebody was uh screaming about a cockroach on the floor and the ran he's 5 years old right he took a paper plate and a cup and he slipped the bottom the plate underneath the Cockroach and then put the cup on top and walked outside the house cly and the and the woman eating here was so surprised she's like oh my gosh that's exactly what you're saying that like you give them the ability to figure things out and then you see that kids are really so much smarter and more capable and you're teaching them that life skill which is that you don't need the skill in order to chase after something in life so when my son wants to learn gamar that's beyond his reach he's not going to be like oh I can't read Aramaic I don't know how to put the punctuation in the words I don't know how to do this therefore I'm not capable of doing this task same thing when he wants to open his own coffee shop he's not going to be like oh I've never open the coffee shop I don't have the skill set he's going to be like oh no I can develop the skills and fail till I make it um and through the failure I'm going to learn how to eventually read gamorra open my own shop uh carry out my own Endeavor in life um and that's like a very important skill and we find that it's worth the $5 of spilled grape juice and the 10 minutes of your time that it takes to remove all the plates from the table and wipe up the whole tablecloth and then put everything down and the embarrassment of your of there being spilled grape juice all over the guest plates uh we find that it's worth all of that uh to be able to give your kid that skill of being able to reach Beyond his current skill set uh and
