Welcome everyone to the daily AI live
show. And by the way, it takes a few
seconds or minutes for LinkedIn to
realize, hey, I think they clicked live.
Oh, maybe we should start loading them
because every time I rewatch, sometimes
I do. Most of the time, no, just the
first few seconds, it always is in the
middle of some deep conversation
already. So I think it takes them a long
time. LinkedIn's and okay with all due
respect and
um so we're live. It doesn't matter how
many hours before I say Isaac today
we're going to be on time. This happens
that happens.
live has
challen you. I'm on the highway so mine
is shaking probably. Um
that's how we do.
Yeah, we're losing you a little bit
here. There in and out. Really?
Yeah. All right. Little blurry right
now, but Reception is semi fine. Okay.
So, I'm on the highway back from a
break. Did you have in mind a topic?
Oh, me. Yeah.
Um I think you go you go this time.
Okay. So, I'm going to say I had a mind
to talk about Kahuni yesterday, but I
had something more more important. And
today also I'm putting it aside. Maybe
tomorrow we'll talk about it. my story
with Kyle Tuni. But what I want to
mention is taking a break. I'm just on
the way back from taking a break.
Whoever saw my status and I try I I try
not to share breaks. Um when I say
break, I mean getting out of your
daladamas going an hour, two, three,
four, five, vacation, you name it. Um I
don't like to post things from a
vacation. I don't like to post food. I
think um getting people jealous is not a
healthy thing for nobody. Um I'm not a
fan of sharing family members on you'll
never see my family members. It's it's a
it's a different thing. It has nothing
to do with social media. You should keep
your social life separate, professional,
clean. If you're here because you need
to that, by the way, that was not the
topic, but we're already here. If you
have any comments, any questions, go for
it. If um if you hear, stick to the pan,
okay? Don't get carried around. Don't
put up your steak and whatever not.
Don't do it. Don't do it. I I won't tell
you why not. If you have a brain, you'll
figure out why not. Don't do it. Okay?
It's not healthy for not for you or not
for them, right?
Um, so yeah, just before you jump in, I
did post one thing. Just before you jump
in, anybody listening, if you're live,
please comment. We figured out the
comments and we would love to hear what
you have to say. Even if you just say,
"Hi, we have the comments open. We're
waiting and ready for your smart things
to say." All right, Ari, go. If I would
get the link at some point, I don't
know. We're going to figure this out one
day. I don't know how many days it could
take tomorrow. It could be in a year
from now when we figure out how to do my
LinkedIn live link on my status which
has a couple thousand people probably
there would be a bigger audience here
and it would be easier but uh I know
that a lot of people watch it later so
we talk as if this is uh Hish. So, I did
post one thing today, uh, showing a
little bit of of where I was. And
whoever has my status knows I'm not I I
want to bring out one thing because I
wanted to bring out that if you're
debating, if it's time to take a break
now, usually what comes up for you is,
ah, it's not a good time now. You know,
I'm busy with this, I'm busy with that.
There's always excuses why not to take a
break now. There's always like, maybe
I'll do it next week, next month, next
year.
There's never a good time and never the
best time to take a break than right
now. If you haven't had in the last few
weeks a break, a break can be a short
thing like one night, two nights, it
could be a longer thing, 10 days, do it.
And and and then I'll tell you that even
more importantly, if you have a wife, so
you should do it with your wife. That's
even more critical. And I've
heard interesting was
audience said
um happy wife happy life and I know it's
[Applause]
not a hot topic
but popular topic right we
don't cannot go into the bisa mikdash
without being married and probably needs
to have shul bias. They can't be
fighting if if he's going to keep at
this. So taking the break with your wife
is even more important. Maybe there's
someone here laughing to himself saying,
"Hey, the whole point is to get away
from her. I'm sorry for you if you feel
that way, but I'm telling you the whole
point is to get away with her and get
into a bond and get out of
this heavy kind of noise. Taking a break
is critical for your mental health, for
your physical health, uh for your
well-being. And if you care about you, I
know you care about your surroundings,
if it's your brothers, if it's your
kids, if it's
your no time. But what about you? When
was the last time you took care of you?
Are you waiting for who to take care of
you? Who will take care of you? There's
one guy in charge to take care of you,
and that's you. and Hashem demands it
from you to take care of you in several
different versions. One of them
is if you keep running, running,
running, running, that's not
that is madness.
So, this is coming out better than I
expected. I didn't I I don't
I'm a true believer that when you get
such a Hashem puts the words into you.
It's true. So here we here we had one of
the I just put up one of the comments
from someone that in the beginning of
the show asked what is this live about.
So I hope that that question got
answered already. Harry came in very
clearly about you know it's all about
taking a break and you need to take a
break from the daytoday and especially
with your
spouse. Um so I'm going to remove that
comment right now. I'm going to hide
that. And then we had another comment
here from someone else that said after
hearing your
wise your wise words said this is an
important topic. Too many people burn
out because they don't know their
limits. Know your boundaries.
Okay. Hashem made us limited. Our body
is limited. Our mind is limited. We can
only handle this much. And we should not
wait for the emergency lights to go off.
And we should now just the other day I'm
not gonna say a name but Abel's 65 years
old on the Palisades just he went into
the gas station. That's it. It was over.
Um people walk around with stress these
days today. Everyone has stress.
Everyone in a different level. Everyone
on a different uh a lot of people think
they're alone. This is also very
important to stick this in. You're not
alone. Every single person around you
has stress of something. Everyone today
when I was a kid they used to say a lot
of people walk around with it. Today we
say everyone everyone has a different
challenge in life. Everyone has
something that's stressing him out.
Everyone has this challenge of telling
himself I'm okay and having the and
whining up or turning on the volume
turning higher the volume of a and
trusting that it will be fine and it
will work out. Um, so you're not alone
there. And take a break. Take a break.
Even though you think, "Oh, I'll take a
day off, then I'm not going to be able
to do it, but I need the consistency."
Trust me, the best consistency would be
if you take one day off at least once a
month, I would say, is is is a good
number. Even a short thing, and then a
longer thing, maybe once in six months.
I don't know. I'm guessing this is this
is something that I would say for me.
Maybe you're more stressed out than you
you more running around than me. So you
maybe you need more or or less. Some
people need a little less, but not too
much less. You need to take a break. And
it's it's a blessing. And and when you
go out, like I went close to nature, saw
some nature, saw something different, it
clears your mind. The first hour you
still you're still running. The second
hour, it takes a good few hours for you
to tone down. Zone in. Put away that
phone. Put away that phone. Put away
that phone. I could speak hours about
put away that
phone. And just be. Just be. Hashem put
enough good things within you that you
don't really need. You don't need. It's
funny that the young couples that go out
usually, they need attractions. They
search for attractions near me. Let's go
to the Boeing. Let's go to the roller
coaster. Let's go. With the age, you
figure out you don't need all those
things. You just need to sit. What? I'll
just be by my Yeah, you'll just be by
yourself with a book like a grandpa. You
don't even need a book. You'll be fine.
Just watch whatever scene you went to
and just be there. You'll see. Give it
give it a give it an hour. You'll see.
You You will tone in, zone in. You will
reach a healthy state of mind. You will
your battery will will feel like it's
refilled and you're going to come back
as a fresh man. It doesn't take much. If
you're debating if to take a break or
not, if you're debating when should be
your next vacation, book it right now,
brother. Book it right now. You will not
right
now. Shut up the live and book it.
Exactly. So, here we have one comment
someone wrote from LinkedIn. Maybe we
need a break instead.
Um here another one someone chimed in
also like knowledge and news and knowing
about everything happening in the new
forbidden is the new forbidden fruit.
Hashem did not design us to be all
knowing. It's too
much. I like that. Maybe another day
we'll speak about with your wife is
actually good thing
and I've
learned it in an interesting way. I
whatever this is too long already. This
is already 11 and a half minutes. We're
going to cut it for tomorrow. But if
anybody wants comment below and we'll
see if the pop if the topic is popular,
we'll continue this. If not, we'll go to
Kafuni tomorrow. Rab Isaac was a
pleasure. Was an absolute pleasure. One
second. One second. One more comment.
just came in. Just want to honor
everybody's stuff. He's also from
LinkedIn and he's writing a nature is a
serotonin
booster. What's that?
Nature is a serotonin booster.
Well, it's a something good booster, I
guess. That's for sure. That's what he
writes. And to put the phone aside,
that's for sure. Cheap dopamine at the
palm of the hands.
Cheap dopamine at the palm of the hands.
I I I'll say a story. Let Let's maybe
drag this another two minutes. I'll say
a story. I was on vacation uh a few
years
ago. Um and I came to this beautiful
place. It was close to the water and day
one I had three nights. So on day
one when I arrived I got a phone call
from a big marketing agency and they
wanted a series of six videos plus 18
actors. It was like a big thing but they
wanted a quote and I putting together a
quote for that takes time. Um I need to
figure out how much it's going to cost
the actors. is the locations it. So they
go, "No, no, no. We need it now. We need
it now. We need it now." And I'm on
vacation. So what I should have done and
I know only now and you'll learn in a
minute is I sorry I'm not in the office.
I'll be back next week. We'll talk. But
I had my not enough. I said, "Wow, this
is the biggest job I ever got. I know
I'm on vacation, but let me This is
good. It was worthwhile to come. You
know, all the excuses, all be able to be
more rested if I get this job. Yeah. And
then I went for it took me almost a
little more than 24 hours to put
together the quote. An enormous amount
of phone calls. I did not enjoy the
vacation at for a second. I didn't I I
wasn't there. I was talking
talking. Finally, I got the quote in. I
was waiting. They It took them a few
hours to answer me.
So, I'm already on day on the last
night and and and I'm still waiting for
an answer. Still waiting and they're
back and forth. Yeah. Another question,
another answer. Finally, they give me
the final answer and it's a big no. Oh,
man.
Brother, you have no idea. I can feel it
in my stomach right now as I'm speaking
about this. You have no idea. It was
such a patch in my face and I learned
the hard way for the rest of my life. I
took the phone. I slammed it into the
corner of the hotel. I had three hours
left to the to the to the flight. I had
three hours left. I went down to the
water. I put the I put on a had and I
sat staring at the water for three hours
with nothing. And it was the best three
hours. So, I won't say it was
worthwhile, but the lesson the lesson
was so hard. When you take a break, do
not touch that phone. And it doesn't
matter how tempting. And the most
tempting things are going to come then.
Yeah. Do not do not put it away. Put it
away. The will do anything to get you
away from your vacation, from your
break, because he knows when you have a
break, you go into sanity. You go into
to a a better mode of yourself, a a
higher mode, a higher self spiritually
and physically. Don't mess it up with
this stupid cheap dopamine in your palm.
Yep. Yeah. Unbelievable. So true. Wow.
when
the that no that no after all that
trust me it was such a lesson since then
every vacation I couldn't care less the
president should call me I'm not
available y I'm not available you know
it's funny I have it on not on such a
big scale but a little bit like I found
almost 16 minutes
yeah I just want to finish up with this
one thing very similar to what what you
just mentioned that I just like found
myself with a little extra time and I'm
like you know s maybe I should take
in the middle of the day and I did that.
I did that and it's unbelievable. As you
know, every day that as soon as I
scheduled for a half hour in the middle
of the day, there's always stuff coming
up. Always stuff coming up. The clever
thing to do is put it away outside of
the shield. Sit down, forget about the
world. You'll see things are going to
work out even better. That's one of the
things I'm put on. It's not to brag,
it's to teach. So, if one guy is going
to start doing this, it's going to be
amazing. And that would that's all worth
it. this whole thing. I put away my
phone always outside the shield. I never
take my phone into the shield. It's not
only disrespectful. It's it's it's how
how crazy can I be? I came to Davin. I
came to
learn I I still need Well, come on. Come
on. The the the few minutes. Let me not
be a slave to this plastic or
Thank you so much for buying.
This was a good one. Yeah. Yeah, I think
I think when you're driving, you're
you're in the right mode. Yeah, maybe I
should try driving more often in the
live. You guys, I think I'll start
driving. We'll both be driving next
time.
All right, Reaix, see you tomorrow. Yep.
See you. Take care. Bye-bye.
