Thanksgiving: Is it celebrated by Chasidim? Marin County, CA vs. Boro Park- Rabbi Chaim Dalfin

Does Borrow Park celebrate Thanksgiving? It's Thanksgiving today and if they do, how do they do it? Well, let me tell you about Thanksgiving Marin County in the 1980s when my wife and I were there in the Neblas. So again, I don't want anyone to say that Rabbi Dolphin and Kabad's against Thanksgiving. At the same time, don't say THE RABBI DINABAD IS PRO THANKSGIVING. We're neutral. If you take neutrality and you make it a holy event with making making sure the food is really kosher and make braas and you make a fab or you see how words of you've turned the neutral event called thanksgiving into what it really is about which is giving thanks to God for being in a free country and who more than the freed and other people who came to America are thankful of the freedom. What we had in Europe pre-holocaust and during the Holocaust was restrictions, fear in Russia and Ukraine, in Poland, in Hungary, everyone in their in their own way, they come to a FREE COUNTRY. BARAK HASHEM, THANK GOD, THANKSGIVING. So please understand that the format is different in Boro Park and in Crown Heights and in Muny and in Lakewood but the message the idea is the same to give thanks to God.
