He Made Aliya Today

And what's your name? >> Shalom. Today's an amazing day for me. >> Tell us about it. >> Finally I was able to make aliyah. When I walked into the Misrad Hapnim today, and they just gave it to me. I didn't even expect it. Did not expect it. >> So you made aliyah today, and you're already in uniform. >> I'm already in uniform. I'm finishing my service in two weeks. I'm from Crown Heights. I grew up Chabad and all that. Um I October 7th I decided to make aliyah, decided to come to the army because it was just I saw everyone getting on the planes and stuff, getting on, you know, all the chayalim, the Americans going miluim, everything. Drafting, drafting. I said, "Why wouldn't I do it? What makes me different?" I came here. I came here in June of 2024. It was a long process, very long process. But Baruch Hashem in the end I managed to draft, and yeah, now I've finished my service. It's crazy because I remember coming here to the Kotel back back before I drafted I was still begging Hashem. >> So you're finishing your service. >> And now I'm finishing my service.
