am so honored to be with so many people like I said other nights we have people that I'm already starting to recognize and I feel like I really know you and you're part of this big family of ours over don't want to wait around because I have a very special presentation for you today um special guest and the way it works here is that we start off every evening at six o'clock we um have some sort of inspiration sometimes it's a singer sometimes it's a Storyteller sometimes like last night we did even dancing here that was unbelievable who had fun last night who had so much fun last night me too I just couldn't stop thinking about it the whole day today who was thinking about it in school today okay I'm not going to raise my hand because I didn't go to school today but um if I were you I would probably be thinking about it in school like the energy of the singing am the dancing um you guys inspired me tons it was so beautiful to see everybody uniting and then of course of course the tahim that we said afterwards was not St it was like crazy it was crazy beautiful in a good way um so today we are going to be joined by a very special musician his name is Ohad he's a singer all the way from Artis it's funny when people talk about him they say Ohad for some reason like you know how like you say um I don't know another singer like Benny fredman or Joey Nukem or morai Shapiro you say like the first name and their last name but for some reason when people talk about Ohad people don't even realize his name is Ohad mascoit they just say Ohad and it's just like hell you say his name he doesn't need a last name everybody knows Ohad I don't know another Ohad do you know another Ohad it's not a very common name it's not like barel and scharl um so Ohad lives in Israel and for him this war in arra is a very serious business and it looks like the incredible um seos are holding up H um holding up some Ohad music okay turn off your Ohad music because you're about to hear live music so this um this Rec this um conversation with OHA I actually recorded um because he's sleeping now I'm gonna play you this beautiful thing when he was singing guys you're not GNA believe this I told him to sing and I got um a private concert which like never happens oh my gosh 999 participants 1,000 people are with us everyone clap for you guys 1,000 families we made it oh my goodness man what a moment 1,000 I hope you guys are taking pictures of the screen people are going to start texting me like crazy I can't get in I can't get in so I'm not going to be able to answer them because to helim for us today okay welcome Ohad to incredible kids to Hill thumbs up if you hear him yes hi it's a honor to be here I heard of this uh great uh and very original uh um thing that you're doing and uh I absolutely wanted to participate thank you so much for letting me yeah and we're doing this um video not live because tell the kids where you are yeah I'm I live in Israel I live in modan um and for many many years I always traveled to America by airplane um and um and yeah now it's uh as you all know it's very tough and challenging uh times um I have uh kids in the Army um and so for me all uh the kids the K saying to H him for the people of Israel anden all over the world I think it's a blessing and um yeah I wish I wish I wish you would start that before these challenging times but it's a it's a it's really something that when actually you told me I was like blown away and I and I said to you I have to participate yeah I you just found out about it today and like sometimes I have to get to people and and bother them because people are busy but in two seconds you said how can I help so thank you yes because because you know since the war started um obviously all my concerts were rescheduled so what I've been doing is um um singing for soldiers in bases and uh volunteering for uh concerts like tomorrow I having the Z um singing for them and and you know keeping the morale high this is what artists should do um and I'm happy to be take part wow well we're very lucky to have you here and before you um before you sing for all of us and the kids watching at home are going to sing along and I know they have this group over here this group of thousands of people we feel like we know each other already because we have the same kids coming on night after night after night to say to hel and have a and sing for Amel um so that's going to be amazing tell us about your your sons you said you have children in the in the Army yeah I have uh one son who is an officer in the Navy um but he's in computers um another son he is in the Nal comant but not as of now he's home and I have a son-in-law who is Golani also is up north so um but um I have a lot of friends that the kids are in the army are all worried um I live in mod unfortunately um we had um people that you know that I personally know that they're kids um and you know I don't want to talk about it let's talk about good no it's very real for you so when you sing you're singing from a place of from such a real place from so deep within you that I'm I'm sure that when you're going to be singing we're going to feel we're going to feel the we're going to feel the nshama through through the video so I'm looking forward so I got my own private concert yeah so the first song that I want to sing for you obviously is a slow song because I want as you said I need to take some of my Nish out to you um and U it's it's a song about blessing of uh children that every Jewish mother does it before she lights candle on Friday and the father um gets to say it once a year before I'm a keeper and it's uh a song um that actually was composed for my son's B Mitzvah um who he was born two days before shash so when he you know the first time that I saw him after um that uh my wife was out of the hospital was before him keeper and I had to bless him for the first time and these words really um talk to me very much that I said that have to be a song on it and it's called basab and I want to dedicate to all your beautiful kind that I saw and see um every night keep keep doing it you think it's a but it's a for for all so [Music] start [Music] for [Music] for the [Music] for [Music] yeah wow beautiful thank you it's a little bit uh weird for me to sing without music but uh no it's not weird at all it's not weird not I'm over things being weird these days anything goes we'll take it all exactly exactly and um you know even though we we're going into all these tough and challenging moments there's one thing that we can do and one thing you all can do is thank Hashem and the next song I want to sing it's more like fun because I still want your kids to have fun um and I want you to sink together with me and um when you watch the video I want you all you know as I saw that you're doing it so beautifully before you sang the uh TM um so it's thank you Hashem that's all we can imagining all the kids in your head while you were singing absolutely in your brain you were talking to a live audience of thousands of kids exactly absolutely thank you that was so meaningful and especially coming from you that you're so like real in the situation you started off with so much n and then you know at the at the end of the day a Jew doesn't sulk like we pick ourselves up and we say thank you Hashem and if we can go into tahim with a full heart of thank you Hashem then Hashem has to has to be less listening with open Open Arms exactly amen amen amen and please continue this beautiful for all the Jewish Nas all over the world and uh you know there's nothing stronger than um Kindel boys and girls sang to he him all together thousands of them and uh really you know I called sleeping I told you he's in Israel but he really in his head was imagining it's true he said that he's was literally thinking in his head that he's singing directly to you so you could tell could you tell that he was singing from his heart were you able to tell nod your head yeah the ker kids are telling me yes so it's like you could really tell when someone's Nish is in something and I want to see your n tonight when we're saying to H him with the same kind of feeling Ohad over here mentioned that he has some children of his own who are in the army so we're going to dive in for theim and the soldiers and everybody in arel and the whole clel as if it was our own children our own father and our own brother that's in the Army and I want to say that tonight's the HM and inspiration was um fight with but us we say the name of hasem and then it says he but what's gonna happen even though the enemy sometimes like they're so strong and it's so scary and it looks like they could win maybe but we need to remember that we win how do we wi and we're going to get up and we're going to cream the enemies but remember let's go back to the other p and it says we win by calling out the name of Hashem so we're gonna crush them and it won't even make any sense to them right because it's going to look like the gim should win the enemy should win the Arabs should win the whatever the yesim should win but then it's going to get to this point where it's not going to have make any more sense anymore because if we call out in the name of Hashem bash now I want you to tell me what that means because like do you call out bash Hashem all day what does it mean to call out bash hasem what like what are some examples of things that you can do with calling out in the name of Hashem and we have a lot of kids who probably want to answer this question so let me see let me see who wants to tell us what does it mean to um call out in the name of Hashem okay let's see the Gordon kids do you want to answer um um learning govering learning oh those are two answers you gave one of them was learning and one was daving and if you were calling out in the name of Hashem and those are both correct we have a we are told that we're supposed to D in harder during these times and learning is a huge huge huge protection um was there anyone else who wanted to say something different let's see if uh
