elul of course is a known to be the month that is auspicious time to do chuva and since we are going to start a chuva boot camp that we're going to focus on how to do chuva because really all our life we need to do chuva our sages explained and attracted a vote all your days of your life you should be focused on shiva for two reasons many for many reasons but for two main reasons the first one is because we sit also every day says it's not such a thing that there's going to be even a sadiq that lives in this world and won't sin so who are we so much more so if it's a dick since then we are for sure going to sin besides that our sages explain in the talmud that there are three sins that no person is saved from them every day and one of them is the genre unless you live on a deserted island or you don't speak and one of them is that you don't learn torah while you could and there are many sins that we do on a daily basis so the first reason we have to all our life do chuba is because every day we sin i mean we're going to learn in depth the concept of juva to see how great this mechanism is that hashem gave us he gave us the option of sinning because one can complain if hashem doesn't want us to sin why did he let us sin well hashem wants you to choose good but he also gave us a mechanism that we can do chuva first of all we have to do chivan on a daily basis because we sin because really there's a lot of digits in there because every word has a lot of digits in there so we'll call it the right words to say 13 words or 13 attributes of mercy if you know how to activate that code then you open the i call it by the way don't don't look for a source for that i call it the vault of mercy because we want to open that vault and then shift an abundance of mercy will be bestowed on us and then you can get your sins washed off now there are a few sins that we're going to have a problem with that unfortunately many of them have a problem with as hashem says listen other people if they didn't forgive you then don't come to yom kippur and pray for me so we have 40 days now to come and apologize to other people or how i behaved how i talked what i did if i stole give it back appease the person and so forth and we're not going to talk about it right now first of all you should know it from previous years but we have the whole month to learn about how to do chuva and a big part of my chihuahua is to approach the people that i did wrong to them in many different ways that we're going to learn throughout the month but just know that you have 40 days if you 13. so elul has the key really to open the vault of the 13 attributes of mercy now why is that so important for me to know because without that activated there's not going to be any atonements there's not going to be any forgiveness there's not going to be anything these attributes have to be activated which comes to teach me the basics of any type of chuva process is that if i do not arouse attention of the kalosh boroho nothing is going to happen we read it's a two-way process here we have to wake up to in order to wake up hashem there is a concept and now is not the time to elaborate on that that is called it the awakening from below and awakening from above sometimes there's the awakening from above precedes it a person is in a very deep state of exile hashem does an awakening the month so today is the time to sit and say okay i have an opportunity here i have an unbelievable opportunity to jump on i cannot miss these 30 days because this might be the last rosh hashanah that we have the opportunity to pray i don't know if we'll get to praying in the minion already people are asking me are you going to have services for rosh hashanah i don't know what's going to and most important thing to carry now for this journey is to understand is that the chuva comes from the qadosh or not for me i just have to do my action and hope that the kadosh who will forgive
