Take a Step Back | Rabbi Sam Shor

You go into art gallery, you see these great tapestries on the wall. They're masterpieces, right? But if you were to go and put your face literally up against those tapestries, what would you see? You'd see a bunch of ugly random blotches. Instead of seeing a masterpiece, you see something that looks ugly, confusing. It's only when we take a step back and begin to take in the whole picture that which was confusing to us begins not only to make sense but to come together as a masterpiece.
